Barely remembered these books

What a treat! Even though Nora Roberts is a prolific writer and turns out new books more than yearly, I always feel like they are gone too fast.
I bought this compilation and swear that I’d never read Midnight Bayou and it’s been so long since I’ve read the other 3 that they felt new!
And they are super good, not like the reprints from 20 years ago that try to fool you. Anyway I highly recommend rediscovering all of theses books, well done Ms Roberts!

as always a great story, hard to put down

This is my second read for this book and will read it again. It shows both men and women who have fought life’s struggles and in the end are stronger for them. I loved the descriptions of Alaska in all four seasons. Loved the characters of this small mostly isolated town and it’s querky residents. Great read.

This was enjoyable, Nora Roberts knows how to tell a story! Midnight bayou ended up being my favorite, which was the on I didn’t think I’d enjoy. The heroine wasn’t especially well developed, but I thought the hero was so delightfully drawn that he carried the book for me.

5 Novels, 3 of which I had not read before. Three were very good, one was terrible and another just OK.
I should probably review each, but I finished them over a week ago & just got around to entering the data.

Midnight Bayou and Birthrite.
A re-read from years ago. Do not remember now why they came to mind, but it was something that triggered the thought.
