Once again Elizabeth Woodham proves that Erotica and Literature, in the right hands, are not mutually exclusive terms. This magnificent, haunting piece of Art starts with a steamy, explicit sex scene before spiralling away into a much darker place. A short story that delves with compelling authenticity into a mind poisoned by lust and driven to acts of compulsion and obsession. If you are looking for something hot and heavy to titillate then this probably isn't the book for you (although the bonus story Lust certainly is) but if you are in the market for a well written tale that will stay with you long after you've put it down, then this brave, beautiful piece comes highly recommended.
