A fun survey of different life philosophies, all with a stoic bent. I think your life will be better if you take the time to read and reference this book.
Granted, this was the 'thin' book I got from the library two days before the year ended just so I could complete my goal of reading 25 books in the year. I didn't read it as carefully as I read the other books, and perhaps was not able to appreciate it fully. But whatever said and done, finishing this book 5 minutes before midnight was a good thing. It gives you good, somewhat practical tips on finding happiness and is a good read.
If you are already happy and someone gives you the secret for "The 10 rules of happiness", just break the rule and be happy by yourself. An excellent book for quick references for quotes on Happiness that comes handy when you want to paraphrase a school kid's holiday assignment.
