The book is very good and informative hence the book got one star more than I would rate it.
The professor who wrote it is not. (I "had" online classes in 2020 with her...truth to be told, she didn't hold one class, just left us to our own devices, told us to find the book in pdf and let her know if we had any problems or needed help... Guess how that went.)
The sad thing is that I'm actually really interested in phonetics and phonology, but because of the fact that I had her for my professor I learned next to nothing about it.
