Without Reason
When Rachel Holcombe is killed by a train on a lonely stretch of track far from her hometown, it is quickly ruled a suicide. Her best friend, Heather Reese, and one of her classmates, Nathan Pageant, are left with more questions than answers. Pageant is particular haunted by her death because he had known Rachel for twelve years, but realized he never really knew her. Heather thought she knew Rachel, but realizes she wasn’t as close as she thought she was.
