Mark Powers is the writer who created several of the graphic novels adapted The Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher and co-writer of The Encoded from Devil's Due comics. He is a writer at Mega Powers Entertainment and a producer at Volta. At Mega Powers Entertainment he has written comic books and graphic adaptations for various companies including Drafted, Rest, GI Joe, and adaptations of The Dresden Files. He was also a Senior Editor at Marvel managing the X-Men line of titles.

Harry "Why should I believe you?"
Marcone "You have seen the deepest reaches of my SOUL, Mr. Dresden. You know me in a way so profound and intimate that I cannot yet fathom its significance -- just as I know you."

Harry returns to find Marcone waiting in his office with a deal, a deal that the stubborn Harry will never take. Being macho men, they kind of get into it, with words. Loving this battle of the wits and willpower! Harry invokes a Demon, which unexpected results. By the time he gets to the scene of the next murder, he realizes he's messed up big time and betrayed Karrin again. My god, these 2 should seriously stop working together! They have major trust issues and keep ignoring each other's boundaries! Great writing, the characters are really coming together now.

Last chance with the Dresden files… I just can’t do it; a little too one-dimensional. Sort of fun, but not fun enough.
