need catherine r. daly to know this book had me in the most suffocating, inescapable, kicking and punching chokehold EVER as a 10 year old. i read it once a month without fail for a total of two whole ass years. love a good poison apple book, the girls who get it get it.

"The Ghost of Christmas past"by Catherine R. Daly was a really good book because it was little bit scary.It's good book for kids because that book is scary.I couldn't stop reading because I want to know who was the ghost.For example,"One night, about three years ago.He walk up and said that his room was so cold he could see his breath, even thought the heat was on.And he could make out shape of a girl,an old-fashioned-looking girl, standing next to his bed, reaching for him.he was so scared he couldn't even move"Now let's find out what's ghost going to do with Haley.

Read this book years ago...I'm in a YA reader now, but I'll still always love the Poison Apple series, and will still always re-read them. And this book was definitely a thriller, asevery poison apple book is.

I adore these books, but this one is the absolute best! Cute, cozy, fun and eerie, DEFINITELY recommend for kids who want creepy, but not too creepy! Wholesome fun.
