Redwood Pack Volume 3 contains the fourth book in the Redwood Pack series, plus a novella in a print copy and digital form.
Enforcer’s Redemption – Redwood Pack Book 3
Adam Jamenson has suffered through the worst loss known to man. The only reason he lives day-to-day is to ensure the safety of his Pack. As the Enforcer of the Redwood Pack, it is his job to protect all in his path, though he was unable to protect the ones he held dear. The war with the Centrals is heating up and Adam must try and grit through it in order to survive. Though the broken man inside of him may not want to…
Bay Milton is a werewolf with a past. And a secret. She’s met the Redwood’s Enforcer only once, but it left a lasting effect. Now she needs to find him or everything he had thought he lost, may be lost again.
Together, they must struggle and find a way to fight their pasts and present in order to protect their future. But the Centrals have a plan that might make their path one of loss and destruction.
Blurred Expectations – Redwood Pack Book 3.5
Hannah Jamenson has babies on the brain. It seems that her sisters-in-law are expanding their family in the blink of an eye, but Hannah feels left behind. Every time that little test reads negative a little part of her dies and she feels like her Healing powers are failing her. Her mates, Josh and Reed, are doing everything they can to help her deal with their trials and losses, but they too feel like there is nothing they can do.
Just when the lines of what they mean to each other go out of focus, an enemy from Josh’s past is back to prove the things that go bump in the night are real and everything they had held dear is now in jeopardy. In order to fight back and find their way, they’ll need to put everything on the line before they lose it all.
Author’s Note: This is a novella set between books 4 and 5 to give you a taste of Reed, Josh, and Hannah. It is best that you have already immersed yourselves in the Redwood Pack world, however even new readers will enjoy a glimpse of the Redwood’s favorite triad.

The Montgomery Ink World contains the following series, though each series is a stand alone and can be read in any order. Feel free to hop around:
Bay Milton is on the run. She is being followed, by who she is not sure but she knows that she can't stop running. With her mom dead, now 8 months pregnant and being a werewolf, she is terrified of something and running to the only place she thinks that might be safe, the Red Wood Wolf Pack. She knows they are the strongest in the US and may be the only people who can help her. But will the father of her child welcome her or shun her and drive her away. Adam being a werewolf and losing his family years ago, has been grieving. Seeing his brothers find there life mates and starting families of there own, has been torture. 8 months ago he couldn't take it any more. So driving hundreds of miles away, he finds a bar. One that caters to the paranormal community. The waitress brings him his drink. As his inhibitions go and his grief seems less and less, his wolf senses a potential mate in the waitress. After a night neither could have imagined. Adam's grief comes back with a heavy dose of guilt on top. Adam, ignoring his inner wolf, leaves the woman named Bay and goes back home. Bay thinking she is the happiest she can be and has found her mate, wakes to find Adam leaving her. So as Bay arrives in the Red Wood Pack's home, Adam has to now deal with Bay, a baby on the way, and the past comes roaring back!
Carrie Ann Ryan does it again with book 4 of the Red Wood Pack. We have known Adam for a while and have seen him grieving. Now with his past haunting him and a possible future arriving at his door. Adam needs to decide if it is a future he can do and be the man we all want him to be. I will warn you, if you follow the series, it was a tear jerker for me. I cried for Adam's lost family and for Bay and her future she so desperately wants. I even cussed Adam out a time or two. So we get a better look into the Jamenson family, which I loved. I am really looking forward to #5. Thanks Carrie for making me cry but also making me fall even more in love with this family!
Blurred Expectations The Redwood pack, has the trinity bond. 3 people joined with love, a werewolf, witch and a demon. Reed, a werewolf, Hannah the witch and Josh a demon and ex military. All the other bounded pairs have been getting pregnant and having babies. Hannah after a attack in a earlier book lost a child and is grieving but also wondering why she can't get pregnant again. It should be easy with 2 willing men. It is starting to affect all of there confidence. Hannah is starting to doubt herself, life and is thinking maybe something is wrong with her. The guys want to help but don't necessarily know how. So they shower her with affection. As things escalate between them, they are attacked again but it is someone from Josh's past. Now with one of them in mortal danger, will the trinity bound be saved or broken forever?
Although this was a novella, it is still one of my favorite books. I love this trio. All couples go through trials and tribulations and this trio is no different. Infertility is something I personally have dealt with and I so identify with Hannah and her feeling of being broken or her envy almost of other around her. It never fails when you are trying to have a baby, all of your friends and family get pregnant around you. Loved the book and LOVE this series. complimentary book given for a free review. juliesbookreview.blogspot.com
Enforcer's Redemption - I had a love/hate relationship with this book. I had issues with Adam's whole back and forth struggle. He really had trouble not being a major a$$hole for more of the book. I really felt for Bay and her struggle and wished there were some way for her to ditch him for one of his brothers. He would make a decision to try and them go right back to being a prick a page later. I understand he was morning but it was so unfair to Bay.
Very well written and entertaining. My dislike of the lead male aside, the characters were engaging and real. Bay was terrific and I loved her strength, although she had serious self doubting moments because of her mate. She really was a kick butt character and I wished her mate could match her. In the end he came up to snuff but it was quite a journey! I also love the setup for the next book that is woven throughout this novel. Great storytelling!
The author does a terrific job of mixing present at past to tell the full story. It is very easy to follow the time jumps and helps the reader understand character motivations. Great narrative from all the characters.
The steam was very hot!! While not overly realistic that can be forgiven in the genre. Not my fav type of action but still very sensual and heated! I preferred the later scenes to the earlier.
Great forward movement on the continuing story arc. It is really an interesting direction and the plot is never stale. I have guess as to what comes next with the Demon and the Central Pack threat but I will sit on them for now.
I can not wait for the next book! I adore poor tortured Maddox and love Elle!! I was hoping for a menage including North but I am not sure that is in the cards! I need to read all the in between novellas to get my fix in until the next book releases!
Blurred Expectations - Each new book in the series adds more depth and layers to a great story! I loved this book and delving deeper into Hannah, Josh and Reed's complex relationship. I am not sure I realized what happened to Hannah in the previous book. It may not have been mentioned. This book was great for getting into the head of a woman who wants to have a baby to prove her value but is also still healing from a devastating loss.
It is also great for moving the whole series along, introducing a possible new threat. Great use of Josh's past to bring things to a head.
The steam was hot and heavy when it happened. Loved the whole group dynamic. A yummy little teaser until the next book in the series arrives!
Amazing Set! Wow this is a GREAT volume set! Two of Carrie Ann Ryan’s BEST books!
Enforcers Redemption Adam has dealt with more than anyone should ever have to deal with. His loss is profound and almost impossible to live through. Bay hasn’t had it easy in life either. She carries a secret that could destroy her and the Pack. Their pasts are a hard enough mountain to climb but the struggles they must overcome with the Centrals make it almost impossible. Can they trust what their wolves knew from the start?
This book was amazing. It is the reason I began reading the Redwood Pack series. It makes you laugh, cry and cheer at times. This book is Carrie Ann Ryan’s shining gold star. It is not to be missed.
Blurred Expectations This is a touching story post-HEA for the Redwood Pack triad - Hannah, Josh and Reed. As if dealing with the war against the Centrals wasn’t enough, Hannah, Josh and Reed’s dreams of a family of their own seem to be slipping away each month. An additional danger threatens to separate them further. The Trinity Bond and the love they share are tested to the limits.
Carrie Ann Ryan was able to squeeze a lot of material in such a small amount of space without it seeming rushed. I loved getting to know this couple post-HEA. This story will touch your heart and make you fall in love with this triad all over again.
Won the book in blog hop (woohoo...). Another twofer book with books 4 & 4.5 of Redwood Series.
Enforcer's Redemption Adam lost his mate 20 years earlier to the Centrals, he has been stuck in the past of sorts & depressed over the loss.
Eight months ago, Adam had taken off but something happened. But what?
Without writing to much to give away to this great story that is all the synopsis I am going to say about...
Blurred Expectations
Its the trio couple in this section.
Hannah has baby expectations & desires, seeing everyone around having little tikes. But will Josh and Reed be able keep up to a produce a baby...
The problem I had with this short section of Blurred Expectation is in the last part of book (epilogue) it goes from 1 month later to Hannah giving birth...it seemed something is missing. (reasoning for the 1 star drop...)
This one author I do recommend for those who enjoy the paranormal shifter were books.
Book 4: Adam and Bay Omg. This is the best redwood story so far. I don't have favourite because I love them all but hated how much of an ass Adam was in other redwood books. I knew he could be a great guy, happy and loving if he gave himself a chance. I was totally shock with the ending but loved how it turned Adam and the whole family into a stronger better pack. All the way through book tho I just wanted Maddox to do something with Ellie it killed me all through book with angry looks and avoiding eye contact. Can't wait for next book with Hannah Josh and reed u just knew something was going on all way through book but not sure what. If I could have given more than 5 stars I would have. Awesome.
Book 4.5 Hannah Josh Reed This is a sweet and short story. Hannah's Reed's and Josh are my favourite characters. It's broke my heart when they had there lost. Really like the quick up date on each family member on theirs lives.
I'm enjoying the Series. I'm a sucker for Shifter / Mates / HEA themes. I do like the men to be a bit more Dominant. Even with that, I appreciate when they/men have some emotions. But Ms. Ryan has the men / Wolves cry quite a bit. I don't really know what to do with that. To each their own, I guess.
I'm loving the action, Demons, war between the Packs. She really gets into it, a lot of detail. Though I've been waiting for Adam's turn, the way he met Bay was not expected. Also, I would like for Caym & Corbin to be dealt with! They really are quite brutal. The good guys need a break. :-) Can they join with another Pack to kick the Demon butts?
This book has more errors than the previous ones. I expect a few here & there but this one had words randomly added. Hope the next one is a bit better. :-)
This is the start of Adam's story. We all felt bad for him losing Anna and his unborn child. He has mourned for over 2 decades. On his trek throughout California we find out that he mated another werewolf. He was being a total douche and took out his frustrations on her. I kind of admired Bay for putting up with him while she was pregnant cuz I would have totally kicked his butt. I thought the story was delightful and informative regarding how Adam feels and looks. We also got to see more of the Pack dynamics.
There was also a novella for Reed and his mates that I thought was interesting and glad we got to read it.
There was nothing wrong with the writing that another good edit could not fix. What cannot be fixed is Adam. I hate books where the lead male is a complete as@@@@@ and the heroine loves him anyway. Adam never changes, he just says sorry and does something else just as hateful.
I had trouble liking this book. Bay is a strong woman, a very likable heroine, but Adam was an ass, not recognizing what he had. His mother the Alpha's mate said things that hurt Bay. I'm sorry, this book in the series was very hard for me to like.
The writing is still not what I would call good, but it's an improvement over the first two volumes. There are also still editing problems to the point of it's being a distraction.
