Improve your well-being as you age. Physically, mentally, financially and socially, you need to stay on top of things. This friendly reference tackles the topics you need to know about.
A neat-o little book about the basics of growing older. Things you need to know include managing stress, exercising and eating right, minding your health, managing your estate, assets, and finances so your heirs will have something to inherit, different kinds of insurance and their various drawbacks and benefits and electronic social networks: LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
More an overview and guide to further reading in the Dummies series than an in-depth look at any of these topics, this little book is a handy guide to what you need to consider as you get up in years. I got my volume free when I signed up for FlyLady (if you don't know who or what FlyLady is, I suggest you Google her) and I'm glad I got it. At least now I know what I'm doing wrong and I have no excuse!
I really liked the chapter on social networks, which is the last chapter in the book. I found it helpful and useful. I will probably now be adding LinkedIn and Twitter to my electronic communication arsenal, in addition to Facebook, which I already use.
Like I said, it's a handy little book. If you come across a free copy, get one!
