HEART OF STONE

For centuries, Malcolm has struggled against the forces of darkness—and bears the scars to prove it. Hardened by a lifetime of fighting, he is more warrior than man, incapable of feeling love or compassion. But one stormy night, he pulls a beautiful woman from a car wreck—and experiences a rush of fiery emotion that could melt even the hardest of hearts.

TOUCH OF MAGIC

Since childhood, Evangeline Walker has felt the magic growing inside her. Descended from Druids, she is the perfect vessel for ancient magic—and evil. Evie knows she should trust no one, not even Malcolm, whose strong touch and tender kiss she craves. But after she makes a devil’s bargain to save her half-brother, this fearsome warrior may be the only man who can protect her—with his heart, his body, and his soul…

3 1/2 "At Last" Stars!

I have enjoyed this series so much but in this one, I was so OVER Jason Wallace and his ott evilness, I was ready to kill him myself. Plus Evie got on my NERVES! She really was tstl- over and over. Malcolm's "I've done terrible things. I'm not a good man." attitude drove me batty! So why continue reading this one? Because it was the series finale. After 15 books, I had to know how it all worked out. Turns out, even with how much the mc annoyed me, I liked how the series was wrapped up. I'm satisfied. Now, I can dive into the Dragon Kings! I feel like I'll see the Warriors and Druids again. Happy reading.

3.5 stars. Good ending to the series and I've been waiting for Malcolm's story to see how this tortured soul gets a HEA. I don't think this is a spoiler, but more a general comment that the plot devices to lie, characters concealing information and running away from problems and trying to solve said problems on one's own only to end up in deeper sh*te...has grown tiresome for me. If "some" characters would actually have a three sentence conversation about their issues, they wouldn't get themselves into half the messes they end up in. Although, I suppose some books that use these plot twists wouldn't have much of a story left to tell if they didn't go there.

Overall, I still enjoyed the book. I liked Evie and Malcolm together. I look forward to learning more about where the Dragon's are headed. There are so many characters between this series and the Dragon Kings, I had trouble at times remembering who everyone was.

Maybe I just read too many books.

WOW, just WOW!!! Donna Grant has done it again and although I am sad this amazing series has come to an end, with the exception on the holiday novella, I don't feel there was much more Donna could have done to make Midnight's Promise any better. Malcolm is a highlander in every sense of the word. I fell in love with Malcolm the first time we met him in Forbidden Highlander. Yes, it has been a love-hate relationship, but I always knew Malcolm would find his destiny and what he truly deserved in life. Deirdre took way too much for Malcolm and he was on the brink of never turning back from the dark side-- until Evie. Evangeline Walker was a druid who believes she is the only druid left in the world. She learns the hard way that she is not. It takes a man like Malcolm Monroe to set her straight. Evie is a strong woman who is determined to take on the world for Malcolm. I loved all of the twists and turns of Midnight's Promise and was shocked by some of the new details we learn in the story. It takes Evie, Malcolm and the Dragon Kings to figure out what Jason Wallace has on his side and what he plans to do with it. In the end it all comes down to one person to find their inner strength and learn what it will take to destroy Jason forever! The story that unfolds between Malcolm and Evie is wonderful, deserving and also hard for them to follow through with at times, but so worth the wait! I am truly happy for all of the characters in both the Dark Sword and Dark Warriors series and am so thankful they found what they deserved in life. Thank Donna for such an amazing series, and characters. I loved being apart of this journey and falling into your world of magic, love, druids and mostly, highland warriors!! My favorite all time series, by far!

Awesome ending to this series of the Dark Warriors within the Dark World. Once again, loved the Dark Kings being a part.

I've loved Malcolm's character since he was first introduced. Evangeline was perfect for him. A really strong couple with love conquering all. One of those love stories that make you go...awww.

Brought to you by OBS reviewer Heidi

midnights-promise-donna-grant-dark-warriorAfter all the terrible and evil things Malcolm Munro has had to do in his life, and the pain he has experienced, he feels that he has lost his humanity and is completely dead inside. He’s been distancing himself from the residents of MacLeod Castle little by little and even from his beloved cousin, Larena, even though she needs him now more than ever as she tries to fight the effects the drough blood has had on her. He’s even wondering if the solution to all their problems could be solved by eradicating all the Druids.

That is until he feels the pulse of a certain Druid’s power that entrances him and leads him to a place he thought never to return; Carin Toul.

Evie Walker is on the run from an unknown hacker that is after the necklace her family has guarded for centuries. But when it appears she’s out of options the stones of Carin Toul call to her promising her safety. And, when the aloof Malcolm takes an interest in her, both of their lives change forever.

First, I must say that I have loved me some Malcolm from the moment he was introduced into this series and this is a book that I’ve been hoping and praying would come to pass. I could hardly wait to delve in as I had one thing on my mind: Malcolm Malcolm Malcolm! And, for those of you that share my obsession with this scarred Highland Warrior, you won’t be disappointed! I LOVED this book!

Malcolm has been an outsider throughout this series and we’ve seen him drift further and further away from those that want to help him. He is one of the most flushed out characters of this series with his heart-wrenching back-story from being attacked while on his way to visit Larena, only to be captured by Deidre and the horrors that came afterward. I have been dying for him to find happiness and of course his mate (if it must be someone other than me *sigh*)!

Evie on the other hand seems to be pretty naïve most of the time, but I found myself really liking her. She also starts to mature as the book continues, which is nice. It’s interesting to see how her decisions truly affect the other characters of this series.

This book really brings everything to a head, especially the conflict with Jason. We get to see what Jason’s end plan is and how he expects to use Evie and Malcolm to achieve it. After certain actions are put into motion, it leaves you wondering how the Warriors, Druids, and Dragons will ever overcome the obstacles laid before them, but I never had a doubt that they would!

This book focuses on the prophecy mentioned in the previous installment, Midnight’s Temptation, and I loved every second of it! There is so much emotion and action that I couldn’t put it down! And, I’m in fact writing this at 2 a.m., since that is when I finally read the last sentence of the book.

Like I mentioned, this book is awesome, but it is also bittersweet. They last few pages makes it appear that this will be the final book of the series. It reminds me very much of the end of a movie where they show pictures of the character and have you read below each one to find out what happened to them; how they ended up. And, it makes everything seem so final with the series. It makes sense as all the Warriors are now mated, but it doesn’t make me any less sad about it. Hopefully we will still see glimpses of our favorites throughout the rest of the Dragon Kings series, which seems to have endless possibilities considering the unnumbered amount of Kings in existence!

I urge all you Donna Grant fans, especially my fellow Malcolm lovers, to go out, buy this book, read it (over and over again), cherish it, and just enjoy! I know this book is one that I will not be satisfied by reading only once.

Donna Grant takes a different approach in the eighth book of the Dark Warriors series. Malcolm is a dark character, one who is angst ridden and burdened with this guilt that weighs him down. As he distances himself from the people who care about him, readers form an emotional attachment to this wounded warrior. It isn’t until he saves a woman from a car crash that he feels something stirring within him once again.

Evie is a descendant of druids so she has the ability to be the vessel in which magic and evil can be contained. As she enters the home of a key character in this series, the stones speak to her on a level that brings so much magic to this series. Trust becomes a big factor between Evie and Malcolm and yet, neither of them are willing to take that first leap of faith.

MIDNIGHT’S PROMISE has a slightly darker tone to it. It definitely has more angst. As Evie’s brother, Brian relies on her, readers get a sense of her frustration and pressing need to stop the danger from finding her. Malcolm must somehow open up his own hardened heart and let Evie in.

The beginning was a little slow for me. However, as more of the story unfolded, I realized it wasn’t necessarily about the action in this one. It’s more about the emotional journey for these two characters than the physical. I liked the route Grant took with this story. It definitely keeps things interesting.

MIDNIGHT’S PROMISE is a sensual, erotic play of magic and mayhem. This series continues to evolve in astonishingly unique ways.

The plot was incredibly creative and the stakes felt high throughout the entire book. The characters' emotional journey was well-executed and I was completely invested in their relationship.

The world-building remains one of the strongest aspects of this series and this book certainly lived up to that standard. My only minor critique is that some of the major plot points felt slightly rushed, especially in the last third of the book, which prevented me from fully immersing myself in the climax. Despite that, it's a fantastic novel that concludes a incredible series.

Malcolm and Evangeline...

An awesome ending to an awesome series. Even though poor Malcolm had to endure horrific experiences with death, he got his HEA.

To he honest, I wanted to slap Evie a few times for being so naive and uninformed - but... I managed to warm up towards her in the end.
Awesome storyline and characters! Loved every second of the journey...

This is my least favorite of the series mainly because of the female MC. For a character touted as being smart, Evie comes off as not so bright. Some reviews label her as tstl. I have to agree. Not sure why the author wrote her that way but it made me almost dnf this one. The only reason I didn’t is because I needed to full story of how the dragons got involved. My other gripe with this one is the antagonist. His storyline went on for entirely too long. Unlike the original antagonist in the series, Jason was just annoying and tiresome. I’m just glad this is over. Now I can move on to the rest of the Dark World series’s.

The last of the Dark Warriors series. I loved it and how the author has every warrior and Druid make a final appearance and lets you know where they end up and how they are doing. Malcom and Evie’s Story was so compelling and competed the series nicely.

My thanks to the publisher for giving me an ARC of this book to review.

Donna Grant gives the readers a thrilling ending to her stellar Dark Warrior's series. The author did an outstanding job on this book, making it a story to remember. For this reader .... it was a stunning tale about the healing power of love.

Malcolm is the most volatile and unpredictable Warrior. He is riding the edge. Consumed by bitterness, anger and grief. He's done some things that are hard to live with. As this book opens, he is riding the edge of his humanity, broken and alone, contemplating the end. Then comes his salvation in his rescue of Evangeline. She is running from something bad, and Malcolm finds himself drawn to her. Isn't that the way the adventure always begins ?

Golly, I loved this story so much !It is emotional and intense, and I enjoyed every minute of the drama and passion. The series seems to be coming to an end. But as one door closes ... another one opens. The Dark Kings are still around, and they play a big part in this story. One evil is defeated ... yet never completely gone. So I am sure that we will be seeing some familiar faces in future books. At least that is what I hope for.

Until now, Hayden and Ilsa have been my favorite couple. I love their drama and angst. Now,Malcolm and Evangeline have took their place, and this is my favorite book in the series. What a thrilling ending to this outstanding series.

I highly recommend this book and the message it brings.

A Great end to a fantastic series! Donna sure knows what we as readers want! It all wrapped up nicely. I was grinning and crying at the same time. It's sad to see a series come to an end but I know we haven't seen the last of the warriors and the druids who complete them. I do hope we see them appear in the Dragon King Series!
Malcolm is cold and emotionless. He believes there is no hope of saving his soul. He has done many bad things all in the hopes of protecting his family. How can they ever forgive him we he can't even forgive himself.
Evangaline Walker is on the run and hiding a magical necklace that if it ever got into the wrong hands would be disastrous. She is desperate to find she is not the only Druid left in the world. She longs to feel safe and find a home for her and her brother and it puts her on the evil Jason Wallace's radar.
When Malcolm and Evie meet, Malcolm does his best to scare her off but she is not buying it. Evie sees more in her stubborn Warrior. She opens him up and for the first time he feels something but can he have what he has always dreamed of with evil following them so closely. Their journey is filled with battle and death. Good Vs Evil. Friendships are tested. They are faced with life altering decisions. Will they survive and over come a prophecy of bringing a new evil into the world. You don't want to miss Malcolm and Evie's epic love story! This whole Series is a must read!

If htere was an option I'd have given it 10 stars... This book was an fitting ending to the series. Hats off Donna Grant... As far as I can remember no story had me sitting on the edge, anxious to know the next twist of the story. Beautifully written :)
I did want to slap Evie for not trusting Malcolm and going on to make a bigger mess.

My favorite of them all!! I thought I hated Malcolm! I did for so long because he was so cold and hateful and unfeeling. I really didn’t know how Ms. Grant was going to do a total 180 again on a character like Malcolm, who I loved as a human until he let the bitterness and resentment build inside of him enough to allow evil to take hold of him in the form of Diedre. I felt for him for a time after the cruelty that Diedre and her warriors dealt him when he was on his way to the castle to see how his cousin Larena was doing. But the bitterness and resentment he held inside of him changed him, made him into such a cruel man that by the time Diedre found him again when he left the castle he was well on his way to already being what Diedre needed. And I still don’t agree with the reasons why he did what he did, why he helped Diedre, even though he says he was doing it to keep Larena safe but she had a mate to do that and really - are we now believing the word of evil??!...but I guess we’ll never know the depths to which we’ll go to save a loved one if we were ever in that situation. Thankfully, God didn’t breathe life to evil magical beings!

Anyway, I honestly started reading this book just knowing I will continue hating Malcolm because how in the world is Ms. Grant going to change his attitude in one book that hasn’t happened in the previous 7-9, or however long it’s been? I know love can do a lot of things but...I thought it was going to be a fast turnaround and that just wouldn’t have worked. But I LOVED THIS STORY...I think this is actually my favorite of them all...she weaved his story and his way out of his own personal hell so perfectly.

It didn’t happen so fast that it was unbelievable...you felt his anguish, his guilt, his newfound feelings as they each came to be inside him...I fell in love with Malcolm slowly as his feelings came back. You’d think by now I’d have learned not to hate certain characters because somehow they always end up redeeming themselves and I feel so guilty for hating them.

But honestly, Malcolm found himself again, the man he used to be before he was almost killed...only better now that he has a family to protect, and a woman who loves him for himself.

Evie was perfect for Malcolm. She didn’t push him, but allowed him to come into his feelings and grow into the man he was meant to become. She was a strong woman for him and stuck up for him when it was needed.

She also fought for him, to get him back from the hell that Jason kept putting him through, which was in the clutches of Death. He fought the best he could by thinking of Evie and Evie also used her magic and fought for him. Their love was electrifying! I never thought I’d say that regarding Malcolm but ...WOW! There was no more deserving woman for him and visa versa. I’m glad she saw the real him through his scars...she never saw the scars as a hindrance, or as anything other than a part of who he is, but actually thought they made him more handsome. A more deserving woman for him, he could not find. And he stuck up for her and stood by his woman against his family, who half believed was a dangerous drough.

I don’t normally give detailed reviews like this so I’m new to this, so forgive me if it jumps around too much or doesn’t make sense. But after saying I hated Malcolm in the last book review, I had to write something about this book because Malcolm’s story, I believe, turned out to be my favorite and Malcolm turned out to be one of my favorite warriors. Ms. Grant couldn’t have done Malcolm ‘s story any better in my opinion!

That being said...I still don’t understand how there are so many grammatical/spelling/wrong word choice errors when there is supposedly an editor, but I guess it’s just me - I know if this was my work I wouldn’t want so many errors in the completed work I give my fans. Some errors I don’t mind but honestly what good is an editor or proofreader or a publisher for that matter? I thought publishers were supposed to make sure that everything was good to go before being published? But this book had way less than half the errors as Charon’s book and that’s saying something. At least I didn’t feel as if I were reading a draft copy. I’m not an editor, but I’ve always loved English and love reading so I see a lot of the errors in these books and I guess it’s a pet peeve. But that’s why I don’t understand how these errors aren’t caught before being published...if the readers can catch all these errors (and I KNOW I’m not the only one seeing all these errors), don’t you think it’s about time someone on the other end of these books finally takes notice and says hmm...why are so many errors NOT getting caught before being published!? And we’re still paying these editors?! For what? I say you need to fire the editors you’re using for these books. Only then will they learn that they can’t fake being a good editor. Or give the readers a chance to help edit these books...I wouldn’t mind helping edit my favorite authors books! I bet the end-product would be much better than what it has been with the editors you’ve been using. Ask several fans to edit the same book and see what you get. Offer free books and maybe a free e-reader to some...I’d be happy with free books. Saves you money and the fans get something out of it as well. I’d love it.

The last book of the series has enough "oh no!" moments to keep readers on their toes to the last page. Time is running out for Malcolm. From the moment Drierdre's warriors nearly killed him, leaving him maimed and therefore unacceptable as a laird, Malcolm has been lost. Then when the evil druid released the god within him turning him into a warrior and made him do her bidding, the last of his humanity was lost. After centuries of doing evil in Dierdre's name, Malcolm no longer feels. His emotions have been slowly killed by his deeds. And his friends know it. Then one night, he pulls a beautiful druid from a car wreck and things start to change. A fierce need to protect the woman from evil and even herself takes over, and Malcolm finds his emotions aren't dead after all. Evangeline Walker is on the run. It is her own fault for neglecting her grandmother's advice and searching for druids online. Once her site was hacked, she knew she needed to flee. Finding solace inside a mountain where evil once inhabited was unexpected, but even more surprising was meeting the dark warrior who is determined to see her gone. For the longest time, Evie felt alone but with Malcolm, she feels safe. That is until her brother is taken and she makes a bargain with the devil to protect the only family she has left. The attraction between Malcolm and Evie is explosive from the start, but their need to protect those they love might be the end of them all. Because the more Malcolm and Evie close in on their enemy, the clearer it is that they will need all the help they can get to kill it and the dangers it controls. An epic fight between good and evil that will bring together warriors, druids, and dragon kings once more. I confess that more than once I wanted to bitch slap Evie for being so clueless, but Malcolm saves the day and along with the other warriors, druids, and kings they prepare the ground for another amazing series to start next...

Between 3.5 and 4 stars, I think.

Malcolm has been floundering around since Deidre's demise. Evangeline Walker gets the attention of some "hackers" after she posted a picture of her necklace on her website and decides to run and hide.

The book starts off really well. Evie seemed to be a good, compassionate person. I actually really liked Malcolm's character even though I still don't get why he decided that following Deirdre was a good thing. I forgot that he was actually a strikingly good looking man until he was maimed by Deirdre's people.

Not long after, the characters started to unravel, especially Evie. For someone who is supposedly cautious, she is extremely gullible and she starts to make stupid decisions that endanger everybody, particularly Malcolm, not to mention the impacts to her own soul. Malcolm's conveniently not noticing what she is up to is too much of a plot device. His refusal to get help from the Warriors gets really annoying. During the confrontations with the Warriors and the Druids, his anger seems over the top, considering Phelan is the only one who shows anything against Evie. And the Dragons siding with him, instead of trying to help clearing up the "misunderstanding" is a bit irritating as well. It appears that this scene is just not written well. The comparison between Phelan's hiding Aisley to Malcolm's hiding Evie is completely misleading. Malcolm hides Evie because he thinks she is (or may be) evil and he is protecting her from the Warriors. Phelan didn't know that Aisley was a drough. He didn't think she was evil. IIRC, he just wanted to keep Aisley to himself. Toward the end, Malcolm decides to do something stupid, because of plot.

The solution to the Jason problem is really lazy. Give me a break.

Humming to “Feel Again” by OneRepublic as I read this book.

Overall, an enjoyable story. After being consumed by shame and self-loathing for so long, I wasn’t sure if it was at all possible for Malcolm Munro to extricate himself from a life perpetuated by such internal darkness but, lo and behold, he was guided back to the light with the love of people who truly cared for him. As for Evangeline Walker, I’d like to think that the author’s intention was to illustrate the concept of good being able to ultimately overcome evil, exemplified by Evie characterized as perhaps an an honestly well-meaning idealist, a trustful soul stumbling through life based on instinct and magic. It seems that the heroine may not have been executed well, based on the assumption that a character meant to be somewhat of an altruist embodied by a wide-eyed innocence instead came across as more of an ignorant, wildly naive and, therefore, a Druid of the ‘TSTL’ variety who makes some very unwise decisions as a result.

Considering the entire story as a whole, Evie’s character missing the mark, along with the usual unnecessary conflict due to miscommunication and hypocrisy (looking at you, Phelan), were actually minor criticisms amidst an otherwise well written plot bursting with suspense, action and romance that culminated in an epic battle between Team Warriors/Druids/Dragon Kings and the evil Jason Wallace who finally gets his comeuppance. Hey, it had to happen sometime.

I mean, even Thanos got dusted eventually.

Again, an enjoyable and entertaining story. I appreciated the satisfying ending with the synopsis of what becomes of each Warrior and Druid thereafter. Happily Ever Afters all around!

I look forward to see if the Dragon Kings find theirs.

I didn't see that coming. I didn't see any of it coming. Donna Grant never seizes to amaze me. I didn't think Malcolm would survive much longer. I definitely didn't think he would find his other half. Evangeline needed him and he couldn't let her down.

Evangeline thought she was alone. She thought she was the only druid left in the world. Refusing to give up a search for more druids had her posting a family heirloom on the internet. Once something is posted it never completely disappears. Evangeline will learn the hard way when the evil that the warriors have been fighting sets his sights on her.

She soon finds herself in constant danger. She is being guided by the stones. She is being stalked by the unknown. She will risk everything for her brother bringing her closer and closer to the darkside. Letting Malcolm in is one of her best decisions. Too bad she is ready to rely on just him and the dragons.

Battle after battle entertained me. I was excited to see what magic would be used next. I couldn't wait to see how things would be solved. What would it take to free Evangeline? Would Malcolm still be standing when all was said and done? The thrills, the chills, and the suspense gave me hours of entertainment as I remained on the edge of my seat waiting for answers.

3.5*
Malcolm is dealing with centuries of Baggage from various traumas and choices he has made. He has many regrets. As a result he is a loner and has shut himself off from feelings and being around other people. That changes when he comes across Evangeline (Evie) and rescues her when she is in a car accident. Evie draws him in and he begins to feel.
I did like this, but felt the end (regarding Jason Wallace) was a bit anti-climatic. This does feature all the couples from previous books. It was nice to see where their relationships were. They've all come together and formed their own (chosen) family. And they love/protect that family. The dragon kings also play a significant role in this final book too.
I appreciated the acknowledgement that just because something is "bad," intent does matter and instead many things are shades of gray. The epilogue was nice and I liked that some of the couples didn't have children and some did.
Would not recommend this to someone who hasn't read the previous books.

You know a book is good when you stay up past your bedtime to finish it. That is how this was for me.

Evie hopes there are more Druids out there, so she puts up a website with little information, and a photo of a necklace. One that holds great power. Only, her site is hacked; twice. And one of the hackers has nefarious plans for Evie.

Malcom feels it is better alone. No feelings. No family. Nothing but himself. Until he spies a Druid walking toward the mountain that played host to all sorts of evil. He follows her with the idea of scaring her away from the pile of rocks. But things don't go according to plan.

This is an epic conclusion to the Warriors. The new allies make a return in an extraordinary way. I can't wait to read more about them! We get an epilogue of how all the Warriors and Druids will live their lives, which was awesome to read. Ms. Grant knows how to weave a tale that'll keep you hooked!!

Writing style is getting a little boring, this has been a long series with too much predictability for my tastes. Wish she would try to mix it up a bit. Not sure that I will continue on to the next series.

I just felt too many times that she developed these characters in past books, but then doesn’t know how to bring them to build onto each other to make the series stronger as each book comes out, with the exception of a few warriors. What about these supposedly strong druids? There were too many times I felt like she was digging into this place about the druids being strong and then glosses over it to the point it is immaterial to the story line. Spend less time stating the obvious and reach into building the strength of the characters so that it makes sense when they defeat the evil.

Malcolm finally gets his chance at love in this book.
Evangeline Walker put up a web site to display a necklace that has drough magic in order to see if there are other drought out in the world. Her site was hacked, so she went on the run. Malcolm found her and followed her to Cantoole mountain. (She hears rocks and they told her to come. )
Malcolm is ready to give in to his god but decides to tell the Evie about the mountain and Deidre first and try to save her. Along the way he started getting his feelings back.
Jason is after her and Malcolm and do is "death's. We see quite a bit more of the dragon King's in this book, which leads us into the next series.
I am so glad that I went back to read this series! I love Donna Grant's stories!

I kept putting his one off as I just wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to the Warriors, even though I know we will see them again in the Dark Kings series.

I enjoyed this one, I was waiting from almost the first book to finally get to Malcom's story. It was nice to see my favourite characters from the Dark Sword series make an appearance alongside the Dark Warriors and even the Dark Kings. A fantastic mix of warriors, druids and dragons. I loved how so many of the loose ends were tied up. I'll definitely re-read them in the future. I'm sad that it had to end, but I can finally dive into the dragons much more and not worry about being spoiled for this final book.

This series has kept my attention book after book. The writing style continues to enthrall and the characters come into their own.

Here we see the most damaged warrior, the one that is lost and may never regain his humanity. Malcolm Munro is just lost, guilt ridden, and ultimately lonely.

Evie Walker has several secrets, and it ia getting harder for her to keep them. She is being hunted by some unknown force.

When two lost souls find each other, can they ultimately find the one thing they both crave? Will the evil that hunts Evie bring her closer or further away from the warrior qho is broken? Time reading this book will tell.

Wow, this story has been coming for a long time. I am glad that Evangeline is not truly a drough. finally, Jason is dead and gone this time for good. They work the dragons in there nicely and gave us a nice setup for the dark kings sires. That epilogue might have been long but totally worth it, the warriors get to start their families and with Constantine's gift, the triskelion rings the druids don't have to worry about aging, so now they all have the freedom to leave the castle. Happy ending all around, can't wait to read the dark kings sires and hear more around the dragon kings.
