After her harrowing adventure under the sea, Lexie's feeling cautious.
She finishes the vacation on a high note and returns home, to the arms of an old flame. They get each other's temperature rising, but he has a surprise, and it's not something Lexie wants. At least not yet.
Lexie is drawn back to Mr. Luthor Thorne, and they meet "as friends" for lunch. Where is this going? Upstairs? To the penthouse suite? The one with a piano?
This is the conclusion of the 5-part Borrowed Billionaire series.
THE END Feel’s good to finally finish this chapter series. As crazy as Lexi was, she seriously gave new meaning to sex fiend, I couldn’t help but want her to find her HEA with Mr. Luthor Thorne, who is all kinds of yumminess. Lexi had a couple sexapades, as well as a f*ck buddy on the side who wanted something she was most scared of. They definitely had a unique relationship but it worked for them.
”Luthor, I don’t want to get married and have a bunch of kids and live in the suburbs.”
I think that this was bound to happen, but I still loved how it happened. They were different until they were together. And THE thing I loved the most was that they were exclusive. I think this book gives people who don't really want to have a traditional family some hope!
I started my review of the series but left it at work. Will post a full review tomorrow! Really enjoyed this :)
I actually think I loved each of these books. They were way over the top unbelievable, so freaking steamy and dare I say refreshing? I mean, come on, the chick is the nympho! Oh wait, it’s sex addict now, no one says nympho anymore…hee…But seriously, Lexie is a freaking sex addict. She is way more needy then any man and that is quite the change of pace. There were 5.5 books, each really just an installment, so really, just one book. There is not a time or a place that Lexie doesn’t need to, um, relieve herself. She is constantly horny. So yes, way over the top but very funny and it just works for this story. She has a “friend” who helps with all this, it is the perfect arrangement for both of them and um, he is a freaking hot ass fireman. Most of the other time it is just her taking care of herself. Now, let’s throw in a billionaire who can’t date or be with a woman for three months due to a bet. There meeting is perfect, I loved it. In order for this story to work we have to throw some feelings in there. It seems that for some reason Lexie can’t get Mr. Thorne off her mind and well, based on his own actions I would like to think he feels the same way. I love that this wasn’t an insta love, meet the billionaire fall in love story. And let’s not forget that Lexie is no virgin, like at all. This wasn’t a controlling billionaire claiming the girl, this was lust at its finest. Watching these two people who were way more similar then they realized was quite enjoyable. Very quick, very hot and very funny read. Glad I gave it a chance.
In the 5th installment you get the whole story wrapped up in a nice little bow. I have to say although these short installments can often read a bit choppy - the one great thing about the erotica genre is that you don't always need to have the typical story format. The sex was well written, Lexi was a bit all over the place, but in a good way and Mr. Thorne was turned out to be far less of an asshole as he seemed early on.
And the fact that I just read these stories with a ton of sex in them and decided to use a Bill Cosby gif honestly has me a little concerned. What the hell is that about?
I love that this genre is so unconventional and that there doesn't seem to be any set rules or requirements. It's meant to be fun and for you to let go a bit and just enjoy the act of reading. Mimi's stories allowed you do do this! Whether it makes you want to try a little something new or just gives you something to think about in your own private world, it is entertaining. Heavy reads can knock you down sometimes and this type of read is a great guilty pleasure that lets you just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I have to admit that I kept reading the series expecting it would get better, and it didn't disappoint. The first book was not my ideal book, I actually thought Lexie was a bit of a slut in that book.
The next books were much better but still something was missing.
Now the 5th book, that was a great reading!!!
I love a good story mixed with some hot scenes, but the thing can't be missing for me is the romantic side. This book had everything, hot scenes, funny scenes and love. I can be dreaming about a romantic, sexy Mr. Thorne all day long after reading this book.
For future readers, if you have your doubts about the series, my advise, keep reading, it gets better and the end is really good!
OMG! For those of you who loved WALLBANGER you will just fall in love with this book. Lexie is a smart, sexually adventurous day dreamer. Her creative approach to life will make you laugh. Suzanne's relationship with Lexie is endearing. Mr Thorne is definitely a contender for boyfriend of the month. HOT scenes warning!
Mimi Strong's characters are alive and totally believable. Great book, totally recommend you start reading this series early in the day, You will not be able to put it down!
This was tied for my favorite book of the series with book 1! I was glad with the resolution of things with Jacob. I wanted Lexie to get her happiness and also Luthor as well. I was very glad to see that they would meet again and was hoping they this would heat up the way I wanted it to. I am glad to say I was not disappointed. The nice twist at the ending was very unexpected but welcome. I'm glad that things turned out the way I hoped! I would recommend this series and I would also re-read it again! Great great series!
Okay so I was SOO happy at the end of this even though it skipped a year ahead and we missed a lot from that year BUT it wasn't anything very important and the author gave a run down of events that had happened. With that said I am glad they had their HEA because for awhile it looked like they wouldn't. I loved the ending but I wish we would have gotten to see the wedding, and everyone's reaction to them getting married. But overall this was about a 4 star series, and I will most definitely recommend this to a few people.
This erotica series was a Kindle freebie that I decided to give a read, since I have read some erotica by Mimi Strong before. I decided to review them all as a whole body of work, and I'm glad that I did.
The heat is turned up to 10 here, and if you are looking for a kinkalicious diversion, this serial is it.
This ending to Lexie and Mr. Thorne's story could have been so much better.
The sex was great. Like this author can write a erotic scene, but the story was so freaking rushed. I couldn't even process some details fully. Could have been written better.
3.5 star rating
The overall story, the collection of novellas to create the one story, was really good. I thought it deserves a good 4.5 star rating overall.
Set it on Fire is the 5th and final part of Borrowed Billionaire. A very short quick read at about 30 or so pages. I liked it, but didn't love it. You never really get a feel for either character as being real. There is just no real depth in the story. As far as the erotic parts, they are okay.
Set it on Fire brings Luthor and Lexie together for a business lunch that leads to a fantasy for Lexie. In the end they find what they are looking for in each other, the excitement and fun of a hot sexy relationship that brings them back to Indonesia with a surprise ending. The Borrowed Billionaire was a fun sexy series.
The final installed to this series. Loved this series. Lexie is funny and still a sex maniac! Jacob surprised me but he surprised Lexie too (I know she's not real just go with it). I was surprised by the ending but it was a good one! Read more of my reviews on iloveladyporn.com
OMG! Perfect ending to a perfect series. I absolutely love Lexie and I have fallen in love with Mr. Billionaire. He is so sweet. I am glad he finally came to his senses about Lexie. I was wrong about Jacob, but I am glad Lexie knew what she wanted all along. Amazing series!
WOW! all 5 books were good . Hot So Hot. Did some laughing too! I do not know who I liked more Jacob or Mr. Thorne ? "Pistoned" Yeah , that was the word for it. And it had felt so good, in my mind. So fucking hot. Yep. Luthor Thorne it is ! :)
So Lexi gets some business advice from Mr Thorne. Suzanne & her continue to grow the business. And she comes to a life decision. Will she move forward with Jacob or find someone else? Could that decision include Mr Thorne...read it to find out.
After reading all 5 books in this series. I sure hope there is 6th one. Its a fun read, I think others will enjoy it. It's a short read good fill in between those long books you need a break from, or if your like me, take it with you on a long car ride it helps pass the time.
I"ve read all of this series. I really like the writing of Mimi Strong. I like the development and playfulness of this series. I was a little surprised at Jacob and his conclusion. I enjoyed the ending though.
Finally the end of Lexie and her sexcapades. I was left with a warm, happy feeling at the end of this one. It wasn't overly sappy or in depth, it kept it's light and fun feel clear to the end.
This is a saucy minx of a series, which I really enjoyed. I read them all in one go, so my rating is based on that, as I think reading them a few weeks apart might make it a bit choppy.
