Dr. Guiterrez has an amazing understanding of Philippians 2, and he is able to share that understanding into common man language which makes it easy for us to understand. This book is about living out the mind of Christ and how it is a three-fold process. It also talks about how the mind of Christ will produce praise and hope. This book uses Philippians 2 as its main scripture reference. I loved this book and I plan on using it to apply the three-fold mindset to my life.

This book walked through Philippians 2:1-11 and really explained what it means to live out the mind of Christ. It was eye-opening and encouraging to understand what Paul intended with these verses! I never realized how often we misread them and assume they are teaching something that in reality they aren’t.
