Nice basic book about the practices. Has some excellent suggestions on things such as time management that might serve as reminders for those of us who tend to fill in the days with "busyness." Sample quote: "Don't fall into the trap of thinking that the longer you spend at work, the more you will get done when in fact the opposite is more likely. Working excessively long hours and taking work home is counterproductive." (239) Love it !!!!
While I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one, I wouldn't dissuade someone from reading it either. I feel that there most likely are books out there that are better for learning about yoga, Pilates, meditation, and stress relief, but if someone knows absolutely nothing about those topics or is looking for a book to have out on the coffee table or rack in the bathroom, it's not a bad choice.
