Partendo da un’amara critica nei confronti dell’occidente, in particolare della società dei consumatori, Bauman riproporre il tema dell’agire morale: un agire intrinsecamente libero, e quindi sempre a rischio di venir meno, ma che pure costituisce una caratteristica originaria dell’essere umano.
