The only reason I did not 5 star this read is because it was a touch confusing at first, was unsure of what exactly was going on, but it came together nicely as I continued reading and the story had a hold on me until the very end. There was a very hot, erotic and exciting chemistry between the two main characters, so much so you felt it pop out of the pages! Seduction Throwdown is an emotional, touching and endearing read that any romance reader will enjoy :)
Shelley is a single mother that has her priorities as straight as straight can be. Taking a job to make sure she can always be there for her daughter is one of the best decisions she’s made. She has a great job, tons of tech stuff that puts spy movies to shame and it’s all very exciting. Finally taking a vacation with her daughter, her boy friend and his family, after not having done so for years, she ends up meeting a very desirable man. Giving in to temptation, she tosses all caution to the wind and let’s go of all her inhibitions. Never one for one night stands, but willing to give it a try with Max, she has the time of her life. Even knowing she will never see him again. But once again, she’s wrong when it comes to a man. Finding him in her workplaces changes everything, permanently!
Readers will enjoy the mystery, antics and family feel this story contains. I look forward to where Christie will go next in the series.
