I picked this up for free on Amazon.
It's actually 3 Novella's in one.

It is all about the Merriweathers. Lucas, Dustin and Brittney.
Basically rich stuck up kids. Why work if they don't have too? They can just jetset all round the world spend their family money and sleep with beautiful people.

They are not a close family. Their Mother Jacqueline is the Ice Queen. and they don't know each other, they were sent to different boarding schools and when came of each just spent their time Jet setting.


First is Lucas' story.

Lucas father has passed away leaving the company to him. He is now in charge, he would much rather be in somewhere sunny than in Denver dealing with his lawyers and the golddigger, Faith.

Faith married his grandfather, Harold 6 weeks ago. His grandfather has now passed away and left Faith 10 million dollars. He wants his money back.
She lives with an ex con artist, and has 2 children which she says are Harolds adopted children.

Faith doesn't want to spend the money, it is for Harolds adopted kids. Harold made her promise not to tell Lucas or to fall for his bullying tactics.

So instead of bullying as it is not working.
Lucas results to what he knows best...
Seduction....
But she decides seduction is the best way as well..

Who will win? and whats really at cost here, when secrets are spilled?


Then comes Dustins story

He wants to sell most of the small town of Gold Creek to a real estate developer Chad.
Only problem is the annoying reporter, Amy, that is trying to stop him.

Amy is looking after her little sisters, trying to avoid her gold digging mother Pamela who stole her real estate developer boyfriend Chad.
While hating Dustin Merriweather.

At first she hates him, then he buys the newspaper she works at.
Then fires her...

Then feels bad and re hires her.

Why is he feeling bad? He is Dustin Merriweather?! He has an amazing super model in his bed and yet he can't stop thinking about the annoying little reporter Amy.


Then comes Brittany's book.

Brittany has come "home" to the mansion in Colorado so that she can plan her wedding to Andrew.
Brittany just wants her Mum to like her. She is giving in to everything her mother requests for the wedding. She is miserable...

Her fiancée is shady as! He needs this marriage to get to Brittney's wedding. He can't let his enemies get to her before the wedding so he hires security to be at Brittney's side in Colorado while he is New York.
Enter Matthew. He is HAWTTT (even Amy thinks so!)

Matthew is an ex Military Man with a bad injury sending him home.
He hates rich stuck up girls...
but there is something about Brittney

BUT

he knows a big secret about her that will CHANGE EVERYTHING!

Through he 3 books we see the siblings start to get closer and all get a HEA with the right person.
The Ice Queen does not thaw though. They have each other so it turns out OK in the end.

A sweet read. We get some heavy steam but not details.

What a Fantastically engaging trilogy of the Merriweather family. This trio of romantic story held a lot of funny moments but a lot of terribly sad sections where you how harsh family can be toward one another. When the people you should be the ones you should be able to go to when you need a soft place to land you become so very humbled in how you see what you have. I do know that it doesn't matter what blood runs through your gains it's sometimes those that we hand pick as friends that become our true family that know all our deep dark feelings, our true thoughts, & all our earnings. That is what each of these characters learns. That money didn't buy them happiness, love, or true friendship. So, join Lucas, Dustin, Brittney & their evil mother "Jackie" (couldn't resist). You will not be sorry.

This is like 3 books in one, and I enjoyed the story of those two brothers. Especially the first part, mystery and all. ;)

Pure fantasy

Feel good stories. Well written and enjoyable but just so many leaps of faith to believe that the people described in these romances could actually get past all the obstacles.
