Whose back to see Sole Regret—Featuring Owen Mitchell?

description

Me, Me, Me!

If you have attended the first three performances of Sole Regret and the bonus concert- Share Me, then you are ready for Touch Me. If not, please get back in line to purchase your tickets.

Owen Mitchell is the base guitarist for Sole Regret. He has to be the sweetest hot guy around!!! He is a former chubby teen from a loving family who has a great sense of humor and is always wearing a smile. He has a huge sexual appetite as well as plenty of tattoos and body piercing…he is YUMMY!

His best friend is also in the band, Kellen, not to be confused with “The Kellan”difference of an “e” for an “a”. Kellen’s love of his life, Sara died and he has never been the same. Owen has tried to help Kellen be happy again. Kellan is rope man to me…he is highly skilled in tying sex partners down.

Readers are finally treated to a trip to the very much talked about sex club!!!

Owen is instantly drawn to thirty something year old recently divorced Caitlyn. They hit it off immediately due to the ease that Owen has on anyone that meets him. Owen offers to make any fantasy Caitlyn has come to life. When she reveals what she fantasizes about doing…Owen goes for it with the assistance of the Kellen.

Owen and Caitlyn explore her fantasies as well as get this…Owen wants more!!! He asks her to the hotel and then to the tour bus.

”You’re the most beautiful man I’ve ever touched,” she said.
“Thanks, he said lamely.
“But what is really amazing about you is that your soul is even more beautiful than all these tight muscles and bronze skin.” She grinned. “And that’s saying something.”

Things are going swimmingly for these two, the sex hot and crazy, the conversations pretty deep when…BAMMM!

A surprise visitor!

Owen finds himself confused by his attraction for Kellen during this book and so excited about Caitlyn the business woman who seems to have stolen a piece of his heart.

Kellen’s book is next, wonder what that will hold for us Sole Regret fans!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Owen, Sole Regret's bassist. After having been bullied in school and hurt by ex-girlfriends, Owen's decided he will only have sex, not relationships, and only in sex clubs. That's where he meets Caitlyn, a recently scorned divorcee, who's decided to open herself up sexually to some new experiences.

For once, I didn't think the story was oversexed! It was actually quite mild in comparison to the other stories. There was one sex scene in the beginning that started out as a joke and unfortunately got enacted out that I didn't care for but other than that I was happy with it.

As I mentioned, I really liked Owen. He is sooo sweet, kind, thoughtful and romantic! I loved when he was dancing in the diner! My only complaint (other than wanting more) is what in the heck is going on with him and Kellen? I realize that we will probably get more with Kellen's book but it would have been nice to get a little bit more in this one.

Caitlyn was really sweet as well. I think her and Owen are a good pair. There's some drama at the end where things are left up in the air but I loved the humor between the two of them.

Owen, Kellen and Caitlyn did give me a bit of déjà vu in regards to Brian, Trey and Myrna...without the actual threesome. There was some assistance but nothing else...for now(?).

If anything, it just made me more curious about Kellen. He is really messed up. The 'drama' that showed up will be interesting in how it plays out. I was a little sick that this might involve Kellen but I found out some information that OC posted that it shouldn't be him. (I'm thinking the bus driver!)

I think OC is getting better and better at these books. I thought it might be because they're short but that's not it. I also think the Sinner books are getting better and they're full length. Whatever it is, I like the direction she's headed!

♥ I want Owen to sing this to me!! ~sigh~

Favorite quotes:

♦ “Smart girls,” Kellen said. “They pay attention to what you actually say and use it against you.”

♥ “Are you free Monday? I seem to have a rare night off.”

“That’s only two days away, and I’m determined to completely reject you for three.”

“Okay, I’ll give you time to consider my offer. I’ll call back in an hour.”

Touch me put my panties at twist. A bomb was dropped in the end. I had a bad feeling from some previous encounter with one night with Sole Regret (I won't explain further so I won't spoil the book) turned out that it wasn't just a feeling. That was not something I had ever read in a book of Olivia Cunning and it scares the s*** out of me! I hope Tex is the guy and not someone from the band. But something familiar made me curious. Owen and Kelly have a bond similar to Brian and Trey's. Also Owen seems to /has feelings for kelly the same way Trey did for Brian and Kelly's reaction seems to be the same as the one Brian had. I really hoped for almost all the book to see Caitlyn, Owen and Kelly to have a scene together. It turned out that Touch me has more complications than expected and that made me like it more. The end left me feeling a little sick but I will get over it.

3.0 meh stars

This was an okay book for me. The sex scenes, particularity in the beginning were really hot (first strap on scene I've read) but the storyline was meh for me.

Super square, rather geeky Caitlyn is just coming off a terrible divorce from a man who fooled around on her for a 19 year old floozy student of his. I'm guessing Caitlyn is in her mid to late 30's as I don't think the book ever said. She decides to go to an exclusive sex club. She's this nerdy CEO....really? A sex club where all people go there for is hot stranger sex? It wasn't believable for me at all. She meets up with tattooed, pierced rocker Owen Mitchell. Owen takes her to a private room and fulfills her wildest (strap on) fantasies.

It's another one of those insta-love things and I really didn't fall for their mutt-and-Jeff couple hood. She just hops on a tour bus and off she goes. Did I mention she's a CEO of an alternative energy company? Hmm.

The ending I also didn't buy. I'm not spoiling it but the way Caitlyn reacts to "the news" I was like, "Really? What'd you think you were getting here?" At least in the end that part was more believable. I know it's vague but I'm not ruining it for readers.

I will, however, anxiously await Kellen's book. He's such a tortured soul and I really found myself hoping to see him and Owen together. I still do.... It's so clear they are in love with each other beyond friendship.

So I think this is a book you buy for the smut factor- storyline be damned. But the smut wasn't good enough for me to outweigh the unbelievable insta-romance of two people so obviously not cut out to be together. But, I love Owen's character. I want more of him...just not with Caitlyn. The picture in my head is just ewe. Girl in white blouse with bow at neck, tweed jacket and goofy outdated pants with tattooed, pierced everywhere younger rocker dude. Hmm. Interesting.

I LOVE Owen! He has been my favorite since the beginning of the series. Owen and Gabe anyway, but Owen has been firmly cemented into place as my favorite out of Sole Regret. And Touch Me rocked!
The guys have moved onto to their next city after their visit home. After the show, it has been planned for them to go to an invite only sex club. Well that ends up being Owen and Kellen. Here we get out first mention to the prequel we got for Christmas. We get references throughout Touch Me to it. A lot has gone one for Owen and Kellen since then and we find out that there is a slight rift in their friendship and some mention to things between them. No matter what though, they are still beat friends and know each other best. At the sex club, Owen sets his sights on a gorgeous "older" women... sorry but too me she's not at all an older women... and pursues her. This is where we meet Caitlyn. She is a successful and intelligent women whom has just recently been divorced. The circumstances of that divorce suck. She has been made to feel self conscious and not so beautiful. Honestly for a while now she's been neglected in that department. Her and Owen meet... and my lord do we blow up the book! It was hot. They are hot together. The sex... is *fans self* hot. It always is in Cunning's books, this one was no different and as usual she out did the book before! It was different and I liked that. Owen being Owen shows Caitlyn how beautiful she is and is amazing to her. It was completely swoon-worthy. Owen just gets more and more amazing. Things heat up and well end up carrying over to the next day. Owen and Caitlyn never expect to become attached when neither had planned on something like that or were looking for it. But it happens. They work well together and she gets along with everyone... but then the ending. Oh good God the ending. Shock and surprise. I spoke gibberish for a while. I just... as I commented on Olivia's review... I don't think I could be more shocked or surprised even if Olivia herself jumped out of my kindle at 100% screamed surprise and slapped me. Just wow! Its a major curve ball and being so shocked about the curve ball it smacks you... in the face. Never. Saw. It. Coming. At all. Once again Olivia wrote a best seller. Loved it.
We get to see and learn a lot about Owen that we didn't know and it explains Owen perfectly. I hope nothing bad happens to Owen because he is just to good of a person for that. Then Caitlyn. She reminded me a lot of Myrna honestly. Independent. Extremely intelligent. Successful. Good with people. But Caitlyn is more of a geek and it rocked. She is also a little more insecure about herself too. She had that insecurity, but it never got whimsy or annoying. It didn't make her, it was more something about her. She was fun and I'd like to see her more. Though I have to say I think Amanda is my favorite Sole Regret girl.
Just like every other time Touch Me has left me wanting more and anxious for the next book, which will be Kellan's. On that note I have to say that we see Kellan have a sort of break through to set up his story. I believe that his will be hardest to read and tragic to read. I want to see some good for him and I will anxiously wait to see what happens next... especially to tie in this ending. Wow!

“That’s what you had in mind, isn’t it? Hot, dirty, walk-bowlegged-for-the-next-two-days, anonymous sex?”

Yes please! Especially if it’s with Owen Mitchell, bassist for Sole Regret.

Caitlyn and Owen meet in a sex club. She is there trying to get over her cheating ex-husband, he is there for a good time. Suffice to say, they both get what they’re after - and then some!

This has been my favourite book of the Sole Regret series so far, and I’m outing myself right now and saying that Owen is my favourite of this particular bunch of hot, sexy, rock gods! He’s sweet, sexy, and has a sensational sense of humour, and the easy banter between him and Caitlyn is awesome! And not to be outdone, his banter with the boys is phenomenal – especially with his best friend and fellow bandmate, Kellen.

There’s a bit of kink in this one – with something that was actually a first for me! Reading about that is, not actually doing it… although I can’t say I’ve ever done it either… but that’s really waaaaay too much TMI!! :\

I’ve got to hand it to Ms Cunning, even for such a short novella, she manages to bring the emotion, and you can feel something very special developing between Owen and Caitlyn as they move beyond the club, and share a very special night together (slow dancing in a cafe? Swoooooon!). And even though they only have that one night, the attraction and connection between them still feels very real.

There’s a great lead up to Kellen’s story next, and a very interesting tie-in to Share Me (the prequel novella) with a doozy of a cliffhanger! I can’t wait to get into the next book and see how everything plays out!

If you’re in the mood for short and super-steamy, with lots of dirty talk, a bunch of heavy metal hotties and some laughs, definitely give this series a try!

BOOK REVIEW: Touch Me (Sole Regret, #4) – Olivia Cunning

No one does rockstar ‘erotica’ quite like Olivia Cunning. She makes no apologies and there are certainly no half measures, it is simply… ‘gang-ho,’ ‘balls-out,’ sexual debauchery at it’s finest. And, I get a front row seat every damn time!

Touch Me focuses on Sole Regret’s bass player, Owen Mitchell. Once the overweight, chubby kid in High-School, his younger days were full of disappointed hopes, as he wore his heart on his sleeve and formed emotional attachments all to easily only to have his trust broken, time and time again. Now, years later, he is ‘poster boy buff’ with a sexual prowess that would make the Virgin Mary weep.

Not one to believe in conventional relationships, the only thing they are good for is getting your heart broken. Witnessing it first hand, as Kellen, his best-friend and rhythm guitarist continues to struggle over the loss of Sara, his soul mate, who sadly lost her battle to cancer a couple of years ago.

Kellen has remained Owen’s only main consistency in life – the ultimate best friend. Feeling the loss of the ‘old’ Kellen all too poignantly, Owen starts to question his affections towards him, especially after dabbling in a little playtime together in the past. And yet Kellan has made it perfectly clear those times are now over.

Anonymous sex is an outlet, as he sees it as a form of gaining back some control. Owen has done it all. Well…so he believes.

When he rocks up at the latest new sex club with a VIP invitation, he clocks her sitting alone in the corner, her inexperience and man-hate vibes all too evident in the closed space.

Caitlyn is still waiting for the ink on her divorce papers to dry. After finding her college lecturer husband entertaining a 19 year old Student over his desk, Caitlyn needs closure and what better way to say ’screw you’ to your ex, than playing out your sexual fantasies and having mad, crazy sex with a total stranger.

When Owen introduces himself, Caitlyn is surprised that a beautiful 20-something year old could find her 34 years attractive, and yet as they talk animatedly, she believes she has found the perfect play partner to make her fantasies come true. And Owen is all to willing to prove he’s the right man for the job.

But he didn’t expect to enjoy it so much. To enjoy her…

Except Caitlin is no groupie. She hates metal music and as a professional career driven CEO and life realist, Owen may just find that his ‘one night only’ with a real woman, may not be enough…

When their bond grows stronger, and Caitlin starts to question her boring life choices, wants and needs…BAM! A face from recent past makes a shocking revelation and sends Sole Regret into a state of chaos. Now, Caitlyn must make a decision - is she ready to live life to the full, throw caution to the wind and give this new blossoming romance a chance? Or cut her losses and head back home to her professional wardrobe of conservative suits and tweed jackets?

*

Wow, Olivia threw us for a loop with this one – HOLY CLIFFHANGER! She has never given us a cliffy and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Considering the Sole Regret series are novellas I was surprised by the decision.

Regardless, I enjoyed Owen and Caitlin’s book immensely, and as always, Olivia leaves me wanting more.

Kellan’s book is next and I am really excited to see where that leads. Out of all the novellas, I get a distinct impression that’s going to be the emotional tear-jerker. I want that lost boy found, and I know Olivia Cunning is the right person to do it.

Her writing is magnificent; her sexual scenes explicit yet pleasurable. Get the batteries on charge and the scuba pants out again, ladies. You are going to need them. ;)

4-STARS.

"Touch Me" is Owen aka Tag's story.
I loved Owen & Caitlyn's story almost as much as Jacob & Amanda's.
I was not expecting to crush on Owen because he seemed to be such a womanizer in the earlier books.
This guy had so much more depth than I thought was possible.
I loved that he is paired up with a straight laced, older woman.
She's an intelligent woman, with a frumpy wardrobe, but he finds her beautiful and irresistible.
The sex scenes in that sex club were panty melting hot!
My god I'm still trying to cool off.

Ok the only thing I didn't like was the weirdness with Owen and Kellen.
I'm glad that the sexual tension between the two was not made too much of a focal point in this story.
I loved the growing attraction and feelings that were developing between Owen & Caitlyn.
She was so down on herself.
Not believing Owen was truly attracted to her.
She finds it hard to believe that he could find her tweed jacket, and cotton panties with sheep on them, sexy.

"What's truly sexy about a woman isn't what she wears. It isn't how much time and attention she spends on her hair. It's not that her bra matches her panties. It's the way she thinks, moves, speaks. That's what's sexy about a woman."

Owen is one hell of an attentive lover and it's making me see penis piercings in a new light. ;)

There's a bit of drama at the end and I'm curious to see how this plays out for the band and most importantly for Owen and Caitlyn!!

4.5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!

Ohhh this one was really good! New kink in the world of Olivia Cunning, awesome characters, enough emotional stuff and a cliffhanger that could kill. Seriously?? Olivia, you so need to tell us already if Owen and Kellen will be getting some hump time together! I'm dying of curiosity!Dyyyyyying!
And PS: What's with the Lindsay woman and the extra thing? No way she'll be with Kellen, right? RIGHT? Oh God, this is too much. Have mercy!

Gitte: Aaah another Sole Regret installment by Olivia Cunning and it does exactly what it says on the tin right Jenny?! The Sole Regret series is addictive as are all her books really, but too short! You know what you’re going to get though and every time it’s a hit of sexy rock star book crack.

Jenny: Totally agree. Short and sexy fun and with Olivia you’re always assured of a naughty rock star read that definitely leaves you wanting more and no more so than with this one! It gave me my fix but like anything Olivia writes…I want more!!!

Gitte: So this time it’s Owen’s turn. I loved him. He reminded me a bit of Trey actually, not sure if it was the same for you Jenny? He was gorgeous, funny, sweet & kind and he has a lot of emotional confusion in his life. I loved his relationship with Kellen, but…..I was disappointed when it didn’t take a direction I was hoping for.

I also loved Owen’s relationship with Cait (who reminded me an awful lot of Myrna in regards to the conservative ‘Mumsy’ look and fascination with arses).

Owen plays around; he does not want a relationship. He enjoys women and almost enjoys them nightly as a form of ‘therapy’ I suppose. His past has marked him and as a direct consequence his current ways are very much a result of that. Owen and Kellen have an unbreakable bond that was formed in childhood. They are there for each other in every way. I loved what they have/had! Sigh…if only!

Owen is completely surprised by Cait whom he and Kellen meet in a sex club. Cait is there for a bit of fun and nookie nothing else as she is newly divorced and looking to add some spark back into her life. For Owen, again, he is just looking for one night of “I’ll have the usual”.

All the rules change though from then on end and come to a pretty surprising dramatic finish…a bit of a cliff hanger right Jenny?

Jenny: You are spot on Gitte. Owen did make me think of Trey and Owen’s relationship with Kellen had a Trey and Brian feel about it, you know…the same sort of dynamic, yet it was also different if that makes any sense at all. In fact, I agree with you about the Myrna being similar in style also…and ummmm yeah…arse fetishes lol but this book was very much Owen’s story and in that respect had a life of its own.

I really fell for Owen and Kellen (Kelly) when we got to know snippets about them in Share Me and I’ve been patiently waiting to read more about them in their books and learn what his story was and this didn’t disappoint though I was definitely left wanting more.

Owen was a lot deeper than we were lead to believe in previous Sole Regret books and he seemed a bit of a contradiction, this was definitely a man with two or more sides to his makeup and I loved getting to know him, though I do think we’ve only scratched the surface somehow. Cait came across as so lacking in confidence and Owen was just the remedy for her. Caitlyn took on a new life when she was around Owen and I loved seeing her become so self assured and losing her boundaries. He brought something out in her she didn’t know was lurking inside.

Have to say I’m very, very intrigued with Kellen and can’t wait for more of THAT story!

Gitte: So yes I enjoyed it, yes I was wanting more, yes I cannot wait for the next installment and YES I LOVE Olivia Cunning! Bring it on! Oh and Jenny, we will have to pass this one on for The Malebox to read and review right?! He still hasn’t forgotten Myrna so I have a feeling he will like Cait hahahaha.

Jenny: Yep, I really did enjoy this naughty romp and the cliffhanger…gah, how could Olivia do that to us! This satiated my naughty rock star fix for now, but I can’t wait for more! Bring on Kellen I say! That man has a story and a half to tell and I can’t wait to hear it.

OMG!!! Gitte! Yes! This one will be perfect for our male reviewer, The Malebox! Yes, we need to pass this one onto him, you know he loves anything by Olivia Cunning! I think she appeals to his wicked side! Hmmm do you think he might even fancy Cait more than Myrna? Then again, knowing him he’ll be wanting a Cait and Myrna sarny!

For me, Olivia Cunning is my go-to author for hot, kinky sex with tattooed bad-boy rockers. While The Sinners are my first love, Sole Regret is quickly catching up. The One Night With Sole Regret Series is a novella series, and I highly recommend you read them in order, including reading Share Me, which was once a part of the "A Very Naughty Xmas Anthology", and can now be purchased on its own. Touch Me will be a way better read if you have read Share Me first.

Touch Me is Owen, the bass player's story. We got to know Owen, and his best friend, rhythm guitarist Kellen in Share Me, so I was so excited to read Owen's story. He is gorgeous, with an amazing body, and is the always-happy man-whore of the group. But Owen hasn't always been gorgeous, he suffered during High School with being overweight, and still sees himself like that.

Guess what? We finally got to visit the sex club Olivia has been teasing us with!

Caitlyn is a 30-something nerdy scientist who was found her ex-husband screwing his much younger assistant on his desk. She goes to the club for the first time in order to have revenge on him, even if it is only in her mind. But despite her sexy outfit, she is giving off a "men suck" vibe. Just what Owen likes, a sexy older woman with a challenging vibe.

Owen promises she could do "anything" with him, and with Kellen's help, she does just that. Even Owen, who has a new woman every night has never done that. I have to say, this was kinky and fuckhot, and I found myself getting totally overheated at this scene that I would never think would turn me on, but Olivia is a goddess that way.

“Guys like you don't usually talk to girls like me. Girls like me don't get invited to prom. Guys don't make fools of themselves for girls like me. Girls like me are ignored. Invisible. But I'm not a girl anymore. I'm a woman. Thanks for reminding me.”

Then when Caitlyn changes back into her nerd clothes (that Owen secretly loves), he laid a great line out there.

“What's truly sexy about a woman isn't what she wears. It isn't how much time and attention she spends on her hair. It's no that her bra matches her panties. It's the way she thinks, moves, speaks. That's what's sexy about a woman.”

This installment in particular really reminded me of The Sinners (Bad boy rocker with sexy nerd like Brian and Myrna) and Owen and Kellen's relationship is very similar to Trey and Brian's. Kellen, the master at shibari, was is this book big time, and I can't wait to read his story, because damn, between his ropes and being a "pussy connoisseur", his book may turn out to be my favorite of all.

Likes:

-There was a lot of funny lines in this book.
-Seeing Owens lack of self confidence despite his outward appearance
-The adorable dance scene at the diner.
-Owen's Dydoe.
-Olivia's hot and sexy sex.

Dislikes:

-Cliffhanger!
-A bit unrealistic that this Engineer that works 80 hours a week can just hop on a tour bus...

Rating: 4.5 Stars, 5 Heat

Though Gabe is still my favorite in Sole Regret, I think this book may have been my favorite of the One Night With Sole Regret Series so far. As soon as I finished Touch Me though, I had to go back and read Share Me to refresh my memory (which was lost since Christmas), and I loved how the two tied together. As the series continues, and we really get to know each band member more, it keeps getting better.

My Thoughts:

In this 4th episode in our One of with Sole Regret Series..and definitely not one to be missed. Now iuf you have read any of my reviews for shorter stories or novellas you know that I usually rate them a bit lower than usual because I don't feel you can do everything that needs to be done to make a "great" story in those few pages. With Touch me things are a bit different. We have already met most of the characters and have had background of the Band, the characters and plot line. So the only new character is the female protagonist. As usual I love OC's males better than I like her female characters but I have to honest I did like Caitlyn I think she handled the age difference pretty good..very little angst about it. It was nice to see how both she and Owen grew as they got to know each other. The first sex scene in the book was one of the hottest I have read in a while and one that was very different from any other sexy/steamy scenes. I also enjoyed getting to know Kellen better and can't wait for his book. Over all great plot wonderful multi diamensional characters ..and an easy read. All these things have me biting at the bit for the next book. All the dangling threads are driving me nuts!!!!

4 brilliant gold stars for Touch Me ...book for in the Sole Regret series...and I highly recommend it but you need to read the series from book 1 to get the entire feel.

4 stars!!

I love these short novellas from Olivia Cunning and this one was no exception. This book focuses on Owen of Sole Regret. Owen meets Caitlyn at a sex club, she is giving off all men are shit vibes and looks wildly out of place. Caitlyn has just separated from her husband and is going through a divorce, he has left her for a younger woman (a teenager) and she is feeling woefully inadequate and insecure. Owen is not for relationships, he just enjoys meaningless sex as a ways to relax and enjoy. He is always safe though!! Owen goes to the club with another member of Sole Regret, Kelly (Kellen), they have been best friends since childhood and have a fab relationship. Kelly is in a woman funk after his girlfriend died and has been abstaining much to Owen’s annoyance. However, they have shared some women before and obviously have shared a bit of themselves too and I would love to see their relationship developed. It did remind me a touch of Brian and Trey, however I do feel that there really is something between them, I can see a threesome coming along here..Owen, Kelly and Caitlyn…hmmmm interesting!!

Owen and Caitlyn with a little help from Kelly in the beginning have a fabulous night at the club, Owen even broke all his rules and took her back to the hotel for the night, took her to friends in the morning to get some clothes and then persuades her to join him on the tour bus and see one of their concerts. Everything is running smoothly until Lindsey from “Share Me” shows up making things look a lot worse than they are and without getting Owen’s side of the story Caitlyn runs!

This story does end on a little cliffie but it wasn’t too bad, I cannot wait to read the next instalment to see where this going. So glad that this is Olivia Cunning at her best as I must admit I did not really like Share Me at all, the gang bang on the bus in the snow, was just bleurgggh and I am upset that one of the characters from this book has reared her ugly head. I can only hope that all the members of Sole Regret are safe from Lindsey and that Tex is the bad boy!! If any of them at all!!

Owen, among all the member of Sole Regret, I adore him the most because he seemed to be the lesser evil. Her loved his family and appreciate the crew who makes up their tour. He's also a loyal friends especially to Kellan. But for a guy who receives his own share of the females in the world, he has some self confidence issues.

I thought you were hot before, but now I'd have to say that you're on fire. Molten. Nuclear.

Here comes Caitlyn. The ink on her divorce papers wasn't dried up yet but she decided to go to a sex club. She was seeking 'revenge sex' for her ex-husband's infidelity. He had been cheating on her with someone so much younger. Totally a blow to her ego. At the invitation of her friend, she decided to come and at first, want to just have sex with everyone (if she get's THAT lucky). But one look at Owen and she knew that he will suffice.

But unlike Caitlyn, Owen has more issues to solve which involves his friend, Kellan who seemed to be more recluse and an inactive sex life since the latter's girlfriend past away.

When two unlikely people who doesn't seem to believe in themselves meet in the most unexpected places and suddenly compliment each other - it's fate.

TOUCH ME... It's hot, steamy, sexy and just wow.

I love it especially the twist in the ending. I was taken aback, almost sorry that I haven't read Share Me prior to reading this one. But nevertheless, just like the rest of Olivia Cunning's book, I thoroughly enjoyed, savored and drooled after reading this and wished I had more nights with this Sole Regret.

Touch Me is the latest in the Sole Regret series by Olivia Cunning. The series is made up of novella-sized stories, each taking place during a night with one or more members of the metal band Sole Regret. I happen to really like these bite-size stories, I think its a great format for when you want a quick, easy, and enjoyable read.

In Touch Me, Owen meets Caitlyn, a newly divorced woman looking to break out of her post-marriage funk and have some fun. She's not looking for anything but a one-nighter, and neither is Owen, until they spend the night together and realize there is an attraction between them. I really liked both of these characters.

Caitlyn goes along with Owen's invitations to hang out with the band, even though she doesn't even care for their music, and just as their once-night could be heading into the "let's try a relationship" zone, a blast from the past threatens to destroy everything with Lindsey from "Share Me" showing up to make things much more than just awkward. I have to say that Share Me was my least favorite story from from this series, so I hope that she doesn't hang around long.

The dynamic between Owen and Kellen is also a very nice part of this story, and I'm really eager to find out more about the mysterious Kellen. I actually really like their friendship, and its going to be interesting to see how their sexual closeness will end up impacting that friendship.

This installment ends on a very nice cliffhanger that I'm sure will have the fans of this series screaming for more.

So as a novella, this worked for me. After Share Me, I was leery about returning to this series, but I was very happy to read that Olivia Cunning has returned to the formula she does so well, with a story about two people finding each other, rather than the bus gang bang from Share Me that held little emotional impact.

So overall, an enjoyable short read, perfect for a one-nighter!

Another hot book from Olivia Cunning. She definitely knows how to write smut, although I wasn't always sure who was in which position lol.

When I started this I didn't realize how short it was going to be. I knew it was a novella, but seriously, to leave the end like that? Especially after so much time is wasted in the first part of the book getting the reader up to speed on who everyone in the story is? I'm not sure how often these books come out but if they're all like that I'll wait until she finishes the entire saga before I read again.

I really did like Caitlyn, Owen and Kellen. And I especially liked that Owen and Caitlyn have similar hang ups. It's just hard when you spend time getting to know characters, then rooting for them, to have an ending that is a cliffie, but not really. The ending felt flat for me and ruined an otherwise good story.

Every one of the books in this series is Fabulous!!
Lots of Hot Steamy Juicy Sex (wouldn't expect nothing less from this Author!). There's a lot going on with Owen that makes you just want to love him. There's also a lingering question that hopefully will be answered in the next book "Tie Me". Caitlyn is just your average woman with a lot of insecurities that Owen seems to sooth and makes her feel sexy and alive. Fabulous Ending.

Owen is my favorite. He is so sweet and caring. This was a sexy read. The strap on scene was my favorite. Loved the interaction with the other guys. Can't wait to see what happens.

I enjoyed this story but my favorite part was Owen yelling out another name. That was hot and I was really hoping it would go somewhere.

I really liked it, but it ended so abruptly. I like Olivia’s Sinners and Exodus End books more because they are more developed.
