The Art of Laziness

Rate this book
In his bestselling book The Lazy Project Manager and his follow-up book The Lazy Winner, Peter Taylor shows readers how to get more out of work and life by organising their systems and routines so that they can work smarter not harder. The Art of Laziness offers short extracts from these two books for readers to consider if they are ready for a journey to a productively lazy and work/life balanced world.

If this is a real book than I was tricked into buying the fake A.I written version by the same name. The version I read did not sound like it was written by a human and the book kept referring to us not wanting to waste our human potential. HUMAN POTENTIAL?! Actual humans say "potential" not "human potential". Anyway, it wasnt worth $15 and even Amazon knew it because they refunded me my money and asked me to keep the book.

Great quick read.

Productively lazy, that adds new meaning to a management principle. Short and precise just fit for the busy people who wants to be lazy winners someday

Unfortunately, there was very little takeaway from this. It seemed like the whole purpose was to promote another book to read for more detailed information. Disappointing.

Which might be interesting and full of good tips. I guess I'm just too lazy to read them as he managed to convey a good abstract on this one.

A nice move to promote other books through a book, learned a bit from Pareto principals.

A good start with an entertaining "voice" but a little disjointed probably due to the brevity. Go for his full-sized books.

I learned Pareto Concept of Efficiency- 20% effort produced 80% results

This requires us to focus & apply effort on an intelligent & consistent basis.

Apart from this no other takes
