This is one of the best books I have read. In history, veneration of Mary has been both ignored/discouraged by Protestants and exclusively appropriated by Catholics; however, Corinne makes it clear that Mary is the advocate of all humanity and is the perfect type pattern to which all individuals should aspire. Just as Christ was made incarnate in her womb, so within each and every one of us should we aspire to birth Christ. Our destiny is to become ever harmonious co-workers with God --- Christed men and women.

Though Christ a thousand times
In Bethlehem be born,
If He’s not born in thee
Thy soul is still forlorn.
The Cross on Golgotha,
Will never save thy soul;
The Cross in thine own heart,
Alone can make thee whole.
-- Though Christ a thousand times

Hail Mary!
