Leadership Tripod has been designed as a practical, applicable model for effective leadership. It is a bit dated now but uses analogies of a tripod and it’s accessories to draw in leadership points. It highlights leadership methods and working tools to make an organization function properly.
If a person wanted clear guidelines on how to map out a mission, values and goals, this book has the guide to do it.
A quote I highlighted, “A dangerous situation can sometimes occur in organizations that allow people to develop the responsibilities of the room positions without requiring them to document these responsibilities. Some people can clean tightly to the positions without ever allowing anyone else to know the specifics of their jobs. This is called wielding power, I kind of PowerPlay most frequently seen in long-term employees who want to ensure job security.”
