The Windwalker Serial Killer stalks the inlets of southern Maine for the next beauty to advance his collection and Special Agent Steve Williams is frustrated with always being a breath behind the slippery psychopath. Escalating the pressure, Steve’s adopted sons, CJ and Tom Ryan, take teenage rebellion to an entirely new level, leaving Steve in an explosive situation.

When the Windwalker slaughters Tom’s ex-girlfriend, taking her face as a macabre trinket, Tom is found on the scene covered in her blood, with her scalped body draped across his lap. Damning evidence against him is unearthed, his father's secret identity is about to be exposed, and he's charged with Tanya’s traumatic murder.

To prove his innocence, their only hope is the worst-case scenario; for the Windwalker to harvest a new face.

The last of the Steve Williams novels finds CJ and Tom Ryan teenagers, in their last year of high school, they were exceptional little boys and they became exceptional young men. I thoroughly enjoyed all the other books in this series and I was not surprised to find myself loving this book as well. This book focuses on a serial killer who takes his victims faces and scalps and for Agent Steve Williams it was a tough case to solve ,leaving Steve completely puzzled. Also the sins of the past come back to throttle Steve, possibly taking him away from his family for a very long time.I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves mystery, suspense and romance with a healthy dose of the supernatural.J.E. Taylor truly knows how to spin a fabulously unique yarn and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single book that I have read of hers , to date that number is 9 and I'm not nearly done yet.

I haven't read any of the other books in this series and had not one iota of a problem reading this book and not being lost so I can honestly say the books is a standalone read. I absolutely loved it and am so glad I had the opportunity to read this gem. There is excitement and intrigue and some tear tear times when you can do nothing but let your aching heart bleed for the emotions in this read. The author does an amazing job letting you feel all aspects and enjoy them each. The paranormal aspect was point on and gave just the right touch.

The characters just warm you heart and with the love of family leading them the group as a whole make me want to go back and read more. The support and love they give each other when their family is under attack from all angles including a serial killer and close friends is off the chart. I absolutely loved it.

RAVEN and THE WINDWALKER

Is this the end? I have read every one of the books in this series and it also leave me wanting more. It starts with action and end with romance. I loved it. It has everything plus a little More. I want to know where they go from here. Thank you so much for sharing your stories with me. Are the boys going their separate ways? I fell in love with both of them. I solo enjoyed this story.

Special agent Steve Williams is bothered by a case - the Windwalker is a serial killer who seems to vanish into thin air and all that happens is he finds the victims not the perpetrator. He is guardian to 2 brothers (CJ and Tom Ryan) who are almost 18 which is getting challenging. Everything seems to disintegrate when the Windwalker takes Tom's girlfriend as his next victim and Tom is found holding her dead faceless body and covered with blood. Tom is charged with her murder and it seems almost everyone outside the family believes that he must have actually done it.

I really enjoyed this book. I've not read any of the other Steve Williams books but this did not appear to have made it difficult for me to read it. The author used good descriptive language and concentrated a lot on the emotions that were coming into play for all of them.

What an awesome book. It has everything. Suspense, extreme violence, sex, kid trouble and so much more. I loved it and it definitely kept my attention because I couldn't put it down. I fully recommend it. Went back and read from book 1. A must read. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
