His search and the fate of Melisse intertwine to form a tapestry of lust, violence, and supernatural implications. All of which resound within a potent and robust story that draws the reader in and does not let go.
Volume 2, The Hunter
The sun rises upon the blood soaked House Perene.
Evil has struck within and without and only the Marechal de Barristide can untangle the threads of fate that wind about him in a web of intrigue and passion.
His way is branded into the very ground before him, but the Marechal must turn his course in order to seek aid from a dreaded soul. Beings from a realm other than earth shall seek his alliance while his quarry, the servant woman, Melisse, has disappeared, leaving only ash and dust behind her. But before taking up her trail once more, the Marechal must submit to another's infernal desires and pay far more than he bargained for.
Here continues The Marechal Chronicles, an erotic tale of desire and merciless destruction as the players assemble themselves to pirouette in an intricate clockwork of unflinching sexuality and supernatural forces.

The paths of the Marechal de Barristide and Melisse, runaway servant accused of a grisly murder, narrow to convergence in a seamy quarter of Licharre, a city bordering the Ardoise mountains to the south.
Lust and desire burn all that lies between them as demons rear their ugly heads, twisting their destinies together while powers beyond those of mankind exact their vile desires.
Blood will run before it is over and doom shall fall where it will in this continuing story of supernatural passion and erotic romance.
Approximately 45,000 words

Action Packed Erotic Journey !!
And How can a book be so Visually Stunning?!!!
The Sexy Scared Marechal
The Marechal is an old french term referring to a law man, much like the Marshals in America. Our Hero is on a mission to solve a string of horrific murders, where the victims have been stripped of all of their skin. I loved that the setting as these events take place in what I envisioned as an erie castle. And the inhabitants of this castle had many dark secrets that they did not want the Marechal to uncover.
The Marechal has a brief encounter with a your servant girl named Melisse. Neither of them know it at the time, but their paths are destined to become one.
Melisse
Melisse is a beautiful servant girl and there is more to her than meets the eye. Her life is about to change in way that no one could foresee.
Our adventure begins with what can only be described as fire demons. Later we learn that they are the Estril, and the Estril are beings of fire and light. They are also very sexual, evil and deviant, using humans as their sexual pets.
Their are Evil Witches that are beyond gruesome. And their sexual perversity knows no bounds!! I could only watch in horror as our poor hero was forced to pay a horrible price for a boon.
We learn that there once was a war amongst the Estril and the Donglin. The Donglins are pretty badass, have major appetites and a wicked sense of humor. . These beings are natural enemies and are inevitably doomed to meet in battle yet again.

But who will be the victor as the Marechal must fight supernatural beings before he can learn the truth, and save the life of a young servant girl, that may hold his heart in her hands.
This felt more like a movie than a book. Each scene is rich and described with such amazing details. There were times that I felt a bit overwhelmed by the amount of characters and the depth of the story. Very few authors can pack so much meat and potatoes into a short story. But Aimélie did and it was amazing!!
The Marechal's journey was full of exciting action, and erotic action, but that wasn't what hooked me. This author has a way of dropping bits of key information, like crumbs on a trail. Just enough info, that I have to keep reading to unravel the mystery that is the Marechal. It's so frustrating, but in that good way, where I have a ton of questions, but must wait patiently for the tale to unfold!!!
On to the next Chronicle!!!

Where to start? Once again Ms. Aames does not disappoint! From the mysterious main character, the Marechal, to the beings of light, the 6 legged demons, and the underlying murder mysteries and love story, I was left begging for more! It is chock full of sex (yay!) but not the run of the mill sex scenes, oh no- these scenes are edgy and push the envelope. They are hot. The characters are well written, their emotions and dialogue are easy to read and you just end up rooting for them. I felt as though I knew the Marechal and simply cannot wait to finish IV and V. It was an easy read, entertaining, and I did not stop reading until I reached the last page (and kept turning the pages of my Kindle, begging and hoping for more). I am anticipating learning more of the Marechal and Melisse, and the other supporting characters in this series. Well done! If you want a steamy read and the opportunity to escape the daily routine and be transported to a land of magic, you must read this series!

This is different from any romance book that I have I ever read. It is sexy and very original. Some might compare it to Game of Thrones; although the themes are different, they are similar in the gritty, realistic approach to character depictions and actions.
It makes for a fun, fast paced read, with the protagonist, Melisse, developing from a lowly servant to a person of real power (she is given magic that is meant to destroy her after a sexual encounter with a demon-like man; she survives and masters the fire that burns within her while she is forced to flee her past life) .
Speaking of demons, there are a couple monsters in this book unlike anything I have ever read before; their subplot and conflict implies interesting things to follow in future books . Overall, a great first impression of this author; it is highly recommend to fantasy lovers who appreciate sensuality combined with a real and powerful sword and sorcery story (nevermind that the Marechal is one sexy swordsman!)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! This read has everything I love in a good book: hot sex, magic, fantasy, witches and erotic fire gods, as well as mystery, intrigue, and great characters. Not to mention the hot cover is great eye candy.
The very first scene grabs your attention from the very beginning as we are introduced to two fire being in a scene that's very hot in more ways than one. As the story progresses we are introduced to Melisse, the chambermaid with dreams of having more out of life, and the Marechal, the sexy, scarred lawman that is in search of a killer that removes skins.
As the story progresses we are pulled deeper into this world full of sex and magic that just makes we want to know more. This world has a bit of everything including some very sexy scenes that literally set their world on fire. My only complaint was that the end came far sooner than I wanted it to and I can't wait to continue this series.
This is not for the feint of heart and only for those over 18, but if you love erotica and paranormal romance then you should definitely pick up this series.

I loved this series and found it to be the perfect blend of everything! I'm a huge fan of Games of Thrones and I felt as though this book series had some similarities to that television series. This book is dark, sexy, mysterious and has a ton of twists that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat waiting to see what will happen next! You get three books in this set and all are equally as good. I really liked the author's development of the main character Melisse. She is a chambermaid who is looking for a better life and will not stop at anything to get what she wants. Melisse is also sexy and hot! The scenes in this book were very sexy and I enjoyed that content as well. I found that the author had a way with words. Everything in this story was told in such a vivid way that was both exciting, fresh and fun. I haven't read a series this great in a long time. From the cover, to the plot, to the characters; there isn't anything that I would change about this book and find this read to be quite thrilling. I'm looking forward to seeing what this author will come up with next!

This consists of parts 0.5 (prequel) to volume 3 of The Marechal Chronicles.
Exceptionally well-written, but there are parts that are too 'wordy' and tedious to get through (not important parts) that I skimmed, thus a 4 star rating.
This isn't erotica on the same scale as the other books I have read by this author... this would make a dark fantasy movie or video game. It's more of a quest for both the immortal Marechal and Melisse, a servant woman that has been imbued with fire magic from another dimension.
There are smex scenes, but not many over so many pages, but this isn't for kids to read.

This was one of the worst books I've read this year and I'm sorry I spent any money on it, big disappointment!

This book was just weird. It was interesting but the characters weren't developed enough. It had that feeling to it like you start watching a good movie, but an hour into the movie where you are interested but you really aren't sure what is going on.

Amazing Read
I certainly didn't know what to expect, but this was an amazing read. Page after page, a well written piece. It has everything from action to mystery to erotic. I will definitely continue to read this series. Bravo to the author.

I really struggled with this one. Was not easy for me to follow. Aimelie Aames has woven an interestinglt wicked and somewhat erotic tale.
