I loved the whole spin off of Mermaid melody Pichi pichi pichi! Seeing all familiar faces from the original magna and seeing new ones. Reading Vol 2 I didn't quite understand why they made Seira the villain. But I guess it does kinda make sense when Rina explains how the first mermaid princess of the Indian Ocean joined forces with the powers of darkness. And like the former princess Seira kinda fell into the same trap as the original mermaid princess did. Even the 7th mermaids pointed out that Seira is the original "star of hope." But she then quickly denies it throwing off whatever hope the other mermaids had for her to reflect on her mistake and come back to the 7th mermaids. I can definitely see that this part of the manga is going to be talked about more as into why Seira become the way she is now as a teenager. And explore the topic of Lukia and her love interest. I'm excited to see this mysterious merman that she's engaged to.

Definitely better than the first volume! But I was really confused about Seira turning out to be evil. That made me really sad and kind of broke the intended trajectory of her character from the original series.

Mermaid melody Pichi pichi pitch: Aqua, segundo tomo de la serie escrita por Pink Hanamori. Continuamos con la trama de nuestra protagonista Lukia Nanami. Hace poco le desvelaron que es una princesa sirena y tiene el deber de proteger los mares. Pero para eso debe casarse con un tritón y nunca llegar a enamorarse de un humano, porque se convertiría en burbujas. Pero para Lukia será más complicado de lo que parece. La trama sigue en la línea del primer tomo, con momentos muy cómicos que guardan la esencia del manga original. La aparición de un personaje muy importante dará mucho juego a la trama principal y creará muchos problemas por el camino. El plot twist de este tomo te deja sin palabras y con muchas ganas de seguir leyendo los siguientes. Aunque debo decir que he echado de menos a algunos personajes que aún no han aparecido en este nuevo manga de Pink Hanamori. En definitiva, ha sido un segundo tomo con muchos momentos que te sacan una carcajada y otros más tensos e interesantes. Estoy ansiosa por leer el tercero YA DE YA.

Sigo leyendo porque Pichi Pichi Pitch es uno de los animes de mi infancia, pero esta trama cada vez tiene menos sentido. Las escenas van muy rápido y están muy mal conectadas, los personajes se contradicen, la trama es un copia-pega mal hecho de PPP... Es un delirio constante, no se puede tomar en serio

Ha mejorado bastante, al menos ya no parece la misma historia de sus padres.
He tenido momentos que me han sorprendido, como Sango, Seira y el prometido...
El villano me parece una copia de Gaito pero bueno... Espero que cambie en algo.
Aún así me hace ilusión volver a Pichi Pichi Pitch por lo que seguiré leyendo los demás tomos, y tengo ganas de ver la historia del triángulo amoroso.

Ha sido un poco mejor que el primer tomo pero aún así no me acaba de gustar del todo. La trama va MUY rápida, hay cosas que les veo 0 sentido y no las entiendo. Un poco en shock viendo a Seira así, no me esperaba este plot twist, aunque esto le da un poco de vidilla a la trama y ya no es literalmente una copia de lo que pasa en pichi pichi pitch :’)

Disegni che mi han lasciata molto delusa, perchè talvolta sembrano proprio fatti in fretta e furia, senza impegno. La storia va velocissima e a volte fa salti logici pur di giustificare il tutto, che poi diciamocelo, è praticamente una fanfiction del primo Pichi Pichi con il twist che stavolta se mette con Gaito, nessunx può dirmi il contrario, soprattutto con sta roba di Seira lmao

Wow, I really enjoyed volume 2, quite a few twists and turns, but it was a very interesting read and I am definitely looking forward to reading volume 3 soon! Definitely recommend this series if you love Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch as it's the sequel series to it about her daughter Lukia 💙

Me ha gustado más que el anterior y he de decir que no me esperaba el plot twist del final. ¿Desde cuándo tiene sentido que Seira se vuelva mala? Es como si estuviesen intentando recrear el personaje de Sara sin ninguna base, no tiene sentido teniendo en cuenta el carácter de Seira en los anteriores tomos de Pitch
