Omg, FINALLY! I listened to a webinar by a teacher at Morningside and loved reading this book - his school’s scientific breakdown of how learning occurs. I’ve often questioned the fundamentals of RtI as practiced at scale - the teacher receives almost no guidance on the magical intervention that will close a student’s gap or on how to chart progress. If the people supervising RtI (MTSS) read this book I guarantee students would have better outcomes. I can’t wait to use it to target underlying skills that are limiting progress.
