Another quick read from the series, the interesting part here is that this is a more likeable Adam.. Well he did receive one hell of a wakeup call... 😏 Next is Maddox and Ellie 🤗
As much as I enjoyed the interaction between the Jameson siblings and their chosen mates, there was just something about Adam that rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe it was the hot and cold treatment of his mate in Enforcer’s Redemption. Maybe it was how easy it was for him to dismiss their mate bond. Or it could have been his heartless attitude toward their child. Either way, I was left with a mildly unsatisfied feeling at how easily Bay was able to forgive Adam and accept him as her mate throughout his callous treatment of her. So it was with some trepidation that I embarked on another journey to the Redwood pack. I was not sure what to expect. Has Adam really changed all that much? Is he still the same volatile enforcer that I grew to both hate and love in the previous book? I couldn’t have been more surprised at the noticeable changes in Adam and his relationship with Bay. Gone was the morose shifter who put his mate down because he was having trouble dealing with a past she had nothing to do with. Instead Ryan introduces us to a stronger, more loving Adam. We finally get a glimpse of the real Adam and I couldn’t be happier.
Together with the help of Reed, Bay and Adam must uncover the truth behind a lost locket and the woman it once belonged to. Along the way Adam and Bay learn the meaning of forgiveness. Most importantly, Adam shows personal growth and realizes that to earn true forgiveness, he must first learn to forgive himself. I must commend Ryan for redeeming Adam yet keeping his character true to himself. And I’ll admit to having a soft spot for the tragic hero turned jerk turned husband and father. Well done, Ms. Ryan.
If you have not had the pleasure of meeting the Redwood Pack I would seriously recommend doing so. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll sit at the edge of your seat in anticipation. Basically the Redwood Pack will have you running the gambit of emotions and loving every minute of it.
Did I just read a story where I liked Adam? I think I did and color me surprised!
I made no secret of my dislike for the study enforcer in his book. He spent most of it acting like captain a-hole and treating poor Bay very badly.
Some time has passed and has he mended his ways? Why yes, he has! I am so happy to see him treating his mate right!! What a good boy, pat his wolfie head!
This was a nice little visit with the pair and a very enjoyable story. It was the perfect thing to get whet my appetite for the next Redwood book!!
A nice steam factor here. It definitely warmed up my night!!
Adams my favourite character. I really liked the story and how Adam and Bay have made their relationship work. I really like that book 4 was all about them struggling to even get to know each other and live in same house. Where this book is about them celebrating and making a life together making plan etc. Lovely but sad story about the locket. Would be nice for a short story about Emeline meeting another mate and having HEA of her own. Can't wait for Maddox and Ellie story.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!! A beautiful follow-up to Adam and Bay’s story. This novella adds a poignant layer to their relationship as they face the ghosts of the past. The locket subplot was touching, and their emotional growth was both satisfying and empowering.
I really enjoyed reading more about Bay and Adam, I also just loved the side story with the locket and I'm hoping for at least a mention somewhere later in the series
I'm so glad this novella was written after Adam and Bay's full book. We didn't see enough of Adam's good side in the other book. There is plenty in this novella though.
Adam Jamenson, a werewolf and the enforcer of the Redwood pack, has been through hell. Losing his mate to the enemy years ago, he had never fully forgave himself for not saving his wife and unborn child and now keeps his emotional distance from his family. Now after losing a leg, gaining a son and a new mate, he is having a hard time forgiving himself again for treating Bay the way he did. Bay, after years of running from her demon father, now has a son and a new family who love her. She knows Adam treated her badly when she first came to the Redwood pack, but she also knows that he was hurting and accepts that it was in the past and that Adam loves her and her son with all his heart. Bay is willing and has already forgiving Adam. Can Adam forgive himself?
The Redwood pack has been one of my faves for a long time. I love the Jamenson's, each and every one of them. Adam and Bay's story was so emotional. You heart can not help but break at their story. But in this novella, Bay has said the past is done and was horrible, I want to move forward with love and family. Adam wants too but he can't imagine why Bay would stay with him. He has to prove his love and prove he is a changed man. Carrie Ann did not disappoint in this short book. I loved revisiting the couple. I look forward to the next installment of the redwood series. Do not read this book unless you read the book before Enforcer's Redemption 1st. The whole series is very good and all the reviews are here on Julies Book Review.
Title: Forgiveness Series: Redwood Pack Book 4.7 Author: Carrie Ann Ryan Publisher: Fated Desires Publishing LLC Published: 5-18-2013 Pages: 56 E-Book ASIN B0073WA12K Genre: Romance, Paranormal, Shapeshifters
Adam Jamenson, Enforcer for the Redwood Pack, aches for his mates forgiveness over his treatment of her. Both when he met and mated her and when she arrived on Pack land looking for help against someone who was hunting her for some unknown reason. His actions nearly bring death to Adam, Bay and the child she carried. This all takes place in Enforcer's Redemption Book 4 in the Redwood Pack series. I suggest you read the the series from the beginning, but if you pick only one to better understand this particular book I recommend you read Enforcer's Redemption.
In Forgiveness we learn more of Bay's Psychometric abilities when she and Willow start cleaning out some of their mother-in-law's attic. The clutter of centuries accumulation. Bay reaches in to a box and finds an item that throws her into a vision of great joy and great sorrow. She then begins a journey to find the owner and learn the history of the item. Can she and Adam find the owner? Is the owner alive? Why does Bay feel the locket is pushing her to to find the owner? What can Bay do to convince Adam she loves him and he is all she will ever want in a mate and he does not need her forgiveness as he had it long ago.
Forgiveness takes us back into the beautiful romance between Adam and Bay Jamenson.
Adam and Bay got off to a bit of a rocky start. They didn’t have a chance for a lot of romance. Now that they are getting used to being the Enforcer mated pair, Adam wants to sweep Bay off her feet. Bay finds a mysterious locket and decides to find out the past behind it. Adam and Bay discover more than they bargained for but importantly they discover the meaning of Forgiveness.
Forgiveness is a sweet story that gives Redwood fans a better glimpse into the lives of our favorite Redwood wolves. This novella gives us the sweetest look at Adam and Bay’s life as well as an exciting emotional romance.

"Forgiveness" by Carrie Ann Ryan. Book 4.7 in the Redwood Pack series.
I really enjoyed this novella. It's like a sneak peak into the life of Adam and Bay now that they are a family.
This story focuses on Adam dealing with how he treated Bay when she came looking for his help which is found in their full length novel "The Enforcer." Adam is trying his best to make up for the harsh way he treated Bay and it determined to prove how much he loves her and their son Micah. It also has a mystery element to it when Bay finds a locket in Adam's mother's attic and has a flash of the past. Bay is determined to find out who the locket belongs to and return it to them.
Very well written and very emotional. This little novella deals with some very heartfelt issues between Adam and Bay. I really like it.
WOW., another great book in what is the most fantastic series., Adam & Bay another one of the Redwood packs greatest couples., that show such strength and passion... this book as well as all the other's in the series has a well written story line,. it's an in-between story so its not as long as the full length ones in the series., but it is just as good as the other., it give you an update of how the couple of which it is focusing(Adam & Bay) are is doing. This one was as page turner just like all the others and finished in a few hours., it was an enjoyable read and I recommend this as well as the rest of the series which you should read in order (so you have more of an appreciation for all the characters) this is definitely a must read :)<3
Forgiveness is a novella about Adam and Bay from Enforcer's Redemption. Adam treated Bay so badly in Enforcer's Redemption that I was happy to see this novella. Adam is learning to live with the loss of his leg and finding his place as the enforcer for the Redwood pack but not only that but the way he treated Bay. Bay has long since forgiven him but there is still things that need to be said before they can move on. Bay finds a locket that belongs to an Elder of the pack and needs to return it to the rightful owner. In doing so not only does the Elder get closer but Adam is able to forgive himself. This is a must read.
Forgiveness, we all seek absolution for our transgressions, but often forgiving ourselves is the hardest task. Adam rejected his second chance at happiness, feeling he didn't deserve it after the loss of his first mate. When he finally comes to except Bay and his new son Micah, he still feels unworthy of her. Time alone doesn't always heal old wounds, and a glimpse into the life of one of the pack elders finally shows Adam that Forgiveness has always been his, because love forgives all. I love Adam and Bay, and Forgiveness was a wonderful addition to their ongoing love story.
A likeable Adam, what a surprise. WOW. Adam actually becomes likeable in this story. In his own book, Enforcers Redemption, he didn't redeem himself at all. In fact he was a totally unlikeable and mean person to his mate Bay. In this he does seem to have become the mate Bay needs and deserves. My previous reviews of the original shorter version are all missing and this book has since been expanded from my original copy. I will not pay twice for a book no matter how much I love the author so I have borrowed the extended version from the library.
This was a short story but a good story. It helps you meet a few new characters that will down the line play a bigger part. Overview. Bay Jameson has a gift of seeing visions from objects. When she touches stuff she sees things about the owners and memories. While Bay was cleaning the alphas attic, she touched a necklace and was struck with extreme sadness. Now on the mission to find the owner. She learns about the elder Emmerson and the memories from the necklace. You will know more about her in the last book of the series.
In this novella we have a chance to see Bay's gift in action. What a wonderful gift it is. This story does a phenomenal job of showing just how healing forgiveness is. Being able to also see just how committed Adam is to Bay and Micah endears his character to me even more. Forgiveness is a wonderful theme for a novella in this series, especially as the Redwoods are at war with the Centrals and need to ensure nothing can be used against them internally, as family.
A lovely quick read about Adam & Bay. This is book 7 in the Redwood Pack series. Adam tries to prove to everyone but mostly Bay that he has changed for the better. That he loves Bay & Micah more than anything. Bay tries to help Adam realizes that he needs to forgive himself. Bay gets a vision when she finds a locket & is determined to find the owner so she can return it. It really is a book about forgiveness all around.
I loved this! I've read the whole series so far and I still can't get enough!! This shifters series deals with wolves, witches, demons and human mates. Having gone through tragedy of knowing loss, and finding love again while trying to be forgiven for the past. Incredible as always Carrie Ann Ryan!!
This was a great bonus story. We get to catch up with characters and see where they are at now while enjoying them being solidly together. We also get to see more of the pack and got an additional little story about a different member as well. This story is well written and enjoyable.
Bay and Adam are trying to find their way after Adam lost his leg. Adam is trying everything he can to prove to Bay that he has put the past behind and loves her deeply. Bay finds a locket and sees a vision. Can she find who it belongs to? Will Adam finally forgive himself for how he first treated Bay? Come on in and find out.
These little snippets of the characters that we fall in love with are why I love Carrie Ann Ryan. The emotion and turmoil that each character struggles with doesn't end in just one book. Love this series and these characters.
Loved this book! Watching the unconditional love between Adam and Bay and what they went through and how they have grown as a couple! The had many obstacles to overcome! The chemistry between these two is wonderful! Must read!
