I think its flow has improved, but that could be just because it is winding down to the end and there is not much left to tell. Amelia Earhart regains her memory as well as her aircraft. Ambrose has a heart attack and nearly dies. Romney is tortured by Zorrin. Tyler has flashbacks to the moment he was introduced, tied to a tree and surrounded by angry villagers. We are given more back history to Iriel as well. I think it is interesting that the story makes an implied distinction between "magic" and "religion" (in my opinion). The evil spirit behind the magic is a threat, as is the worship of this creature, but there is no organized religion in this story (not like Islam or Christianity or the religion of the indigenous peoples in Central or South America, for example). Granted, this story still has a kind of "conflict between science and magic" and yet the science of the survivors who escaped to Earth 300 years ago could be said to be "magical" in nature as well because of how advanced it is (nice of Arthur C. Clarke to make point that out, hahahah!).Pretty cool image of Amelia taking off Judge Crater's head, though! Great moment in the book. Also a great moment how the villagers came to her support after she killed Crater. I kept expecting them to find "modern weapons" in her aircraft, but that did not happen, hahahah! Also a humorous image of the crow, eagle, and Max being overtaken by Amelia Earhart's plane at the end of this issue. I swear, that name of the eagle - Aguar - sounds so familiar! But I cannot think of where I have heard it. Ah, well. Maybe it will come to me at a later time.Decent issue before the issue wraps up.
