“These aren’t just love stories…they’re battle scars—and paper cuts that tear your soul apart.”
Kali Willows is an Amazon Bestselling Author of dark, emotionally charged romance that refuses to play it safe.
She writes romance that cuts deep—where love is forged in trauma, loyalty is tested by fire, and redemption is earned through scars that never fully fade.
From gritty outlaw MC worlds to seductive dragon-shifters, ruthless alphas, and dangerous supernatural realms, her stories are raw, relentless, and unapologetically intense. Her characters aren’t perfect—they’re fractured, volatile, fiercely devoted…and impossible to forget.
They will crawl under your skin. They will break your heart. And they will stay with you long after the final page.
Because beneath the chaos, the lust, and the violence, her stories bleed truth:
Love may destroy you…but it’s always worth the wreckage.
Gripping. Gritty. Hauntingly beautiful.
Romance that shatters you…and stitches your soul back together.

Hot! Hot! Hot! That’s right, this book is definitely sizzling, yet with an edge of sweetness too. There is a slow burning heat throughout that flares up even more intensely at times, mirroring the dragons within.
The mythology behind the double dragon is unmistakably captivating. The lore was endlessly tantalizing for me, creating an entire subculture that Willows gave me entry into. I enjoy how the various 1Night Stand stories both stand on their own and tie together. The familial ties through the stories brought it all together, seeming to be parts of a whole.
Willows creates characters who’s stories you want to know, who you enjoy reading about. I liked how the couples had fun with each other. There was also an emotional connexion between the main characters, even if it was just a budding one.
This collection of tales is both emotional and sexy as anything. Willows has done a fantastic job of creating tales that both stand out and draw you in.
Dragon Temptation is another 1 Night Stand Novella and lord have mercy I sure do love these Novellas. Yes they are short but they are packed with steamy sex and romance. What could be better than that well..... chocolate!
Cindy Dunham is starving for some sex and romance in her life. She is going through a dry spell and she needs something more. So when her best friend suggests a 1 Night Stand she is a little leery but she decides to do it. What she gets is more than she bargains for and leaves her sated and satisfied.
Yong Li is tired of being lonely. All he wants is someone to share his love and life with but it is hard to find when your body wants one thing and your mind wants another. When he contacts Madame Evangeline for a 1 Night Stand he gets more than he can bargain for.
I love these short Novellas and I look forward to reading another one!
Kali pens "Dragon Temptation", a beautifully written one night stand novella, in a smooth flowing plot. The characters were believable and realistic and I was surprised to find an actual story line for a short novella. I totally enjoyed this book. Highly recommended for all mature adult readers.

This was a really interesting follow-up to the first book, it is not often that a twin menage gets broken up but that is what happens. Yong gets his own 1NS date, which gets all hot and steamy!!
Cindy is a really interesting character with a deep back story. I was really rooting for her HEA! Being best friends with Gwen she has quite a bit of spunk in her too!
I liked the Felicity, but couldn't figure out if she was black or just dark. One minute she's described as having mocha skin, another time she's tanned. If she had been clearly black, I would've been impressed about the effort to diversify. As it's not clear, the writers' skill is poor imo.
I also liked Damien, but he was depicted as being so weak and scared; falling for the girl and then running away.
Other issues: - Speed of light story and relationships. - Worst example of instalove I've read: full-blown declarations and skipping out on getting to know each for sex, yet feeling like they're in love, ugh. - The story was built around over-the-top reactions - Taking advice from pop-up characters they have no reason to trust and don't question anything - The world building was non-existent so I couldn't get a grasp of the world.
Even though the initial conflict is actually really good, it could have been explored so much better. Realistically, Damien's brother's should have disowned him and disappeared. They had NO chance to get to know Facility properly and yet trusted her straight away, even though Damien's instant love behavior was indicative of a spell. No wonder all their family died if that's how instantly they trust people!
Could have been better. Not reading on.

I will already say not a huge fan of multiples in the bedroom. I have the box set of 1NS's and for some reason this is in some. The entire start of this story of course reflected on a previous story with the characters that you only get bits and pieces of and that disappoints me because I would've liked to know the background and what was going on. Though you could sort of pick it up by little bits here and there still a quick synapsis would've been nice. It was all to cookie cutter. Not much development. Every time I started to like it one of the characters said something corny. It was I'm so happy, I'm so sad, now I'm so happy, now I'm sad. I'm sorry, no I understand. Ok! Ok! HEA!

The beginning includes way too much drama stemming from another book. Considering I read this story in a collection, this does not endear me to the novella. I spent far too long trying to figure out what exactly was going on and what my feelings were about a person signing up for a second 1NS (weird issue I know). If you get past all that, there were some decent moments, but many were overshadowed by the ridiculously cheesy dialogue.
