Another stroke of genius!!!

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed the first volume of this great series, I was eager to devour its sequel. And I didn't get disappointed at all, on the contrary. This sequel equals Volume I in suspense, fast-paced action and detailed description and takes you on an emotional ride you won't forget so easily.
In Volume II there are three main plot lines. First, the readers will accompany Kilbane and his supporters on a mission to the desert and breathlessly watch them making preparations to ambush an ArmCor convoy. This plan is jeopardized by the sudden appearance of dangerous horse-like creatures that attack them. For me, this scene was one of the most exciting and thrilling I've ever read. Will Kilbane and his team survive the attack and carry out their plan?
Meanwhile police trooper John Hughes changes into a "slummer" (i.e. people from the Safezones who come to the Underzones illegally) in order to infiltrate in the anarchic Underzones and uncover illegal acts. And at the same time the leaders of the Safezones make plans to enhance their power even more.
I would recommend this series to anyone who likes dystopian novels. For me, reading this second volume was pure bliss!
