Isabella Grace awakes on board billionaire Jonathan Black's private jet, destined for the west coast. When she can't separate her hands, she realizes that he has handcuffed her and she has to 'earn' her way out of them.

This is book two in BY HIS COMMAND series and the books need to be read in order or they will not make sense to the reader.
The story moves fast in this story and being a lot is packed in, you will be in for a ride. Buckle in and away we go—In this story, we have Isabella and Johnathan are headed to L.A by private plane and her hands are cuffed. Jonathan tells her get out of the cuffs, she will need to earn her way out…catch his drift? Things move at supersonic speed and Isabella seems to go thru an awakening here.
Johnathan tells Isabella that he is seeking revenge Johnathan is intent on ruining his soon to be ex partner…Oliver Rush. He goes into somewhat explaining how Oliver is destroying their company and why he is out in LA to sever the ties. He makes sure Isabella is put into a taxi to go on to the hotel while he goes on the meeting but before that could happen, Isabella is accosted in the taxi by one of Jonathan’s enemies named Peter Cresh. –Too many twists and turns in this story. He tried to turn Isabella against Jonathan by telling her some things but she didn’t listen. Peter finally leaves Isabella scared but unhurt. When Johnathan finds out what went down, he flips out; he is left trying to find out how Peter or anyone knew where he was or Isabella was going. He is left wondering what are enemies are aware of and how they are going to use her to hurt him or use her to force him to do.
So before Johnathan leave for his meeting, he needs her to blindly do as he says. To give him what he wants, she agrees. What he wants is her, blindfolded, handcuffed and naked .While he is gone, the big Bad Man slinks in--- Oliver Rush—he just boldly comes into the room and tries to beguile Isabella away from Johnathan. After it is overwhelmingly obvious he is not getting anywhere with her, he leaves with a gloat and a warning….that Johnathan will grow tired of her, like he does everyone else but he will use her first before throwing her aside. Johnathan is rabid when he gets back and filled with dread that she could have been hurt. Then he plans his revenge and tells Isabella she will help him. But will she or wont she? The story ends on a cliff hanger..
The MC are filled with such angst and the roller coaster of emotions here was great. Unlike in book 1, this really showed the range of emotions the MC were facing. I loved how Isabella went thru this awakening in her life—some good and some not so good. Book 3 should give us a glimpse of her she is going. I loved reading how ALPHA Johnathan is and how invested he is getting into Isabella. I cannot wait for book 3. The author has written a great story for the word length here

Johnathan Black is one of the wealthiest men under 30 in the world. He is HOT! Johnathan's philosophy is "he commands, everyone else listens." There is no ifs, ands, or buts' just do what he says.

Johnathan makes extreme demands of Isabella in which she gets physical pleasure but he gives it without emotion. The dark complexity of Johnathan is staggering. What is Johnathan's true nature? Who is really the bad guy? Can Isabella really trust Johnathan now that she has faced the "enemy"? What about the danger? How the Author conveys this in only a few pages is spectacular. I actually talked to my kindle responding to the written word. Ana Fawkes keeps your mind twirling with questions.
I would highly recommend for purchase.

3.5 Star Review By His Command # 2 His Need by Ana W. Fawkes
This is book 2 in the By His Command series and must be read in order. These are short books and do not take long to read. His Need picks up where the previous book finished.
So much happens in such a short period of time it is almost too unbelievable. Yes I know that books are fantasies but even so this to me had too much happening from the start. Perhaps if the book had been longer it may not have felt that way to me.
Isabella has been whisked away by private plane to Los Angeles accompanying Jonathan Black. All she has is a bag he gave her which holds a pair of handcuffs and a blindfold and the clothes on her back.
As you read this book you begin to see how much Jonathan distrusts people and how determined he is to be in control at all times. I still haven’t decided if I like him but will continue to read the series as no doubt he will grow on me.
At the bottom of it all I actually think that Jonathan is beginning to care deeply for Isabella, however he really does have a funny way of showing it. Isabella’s blindness obedience and trust is a little hard to believe but the chemistry and the sex between these two certainly does sizzle.
I look forward to reading more from Ana Fawkes.

I was given an ARC for my honest review, Isabella Grace does not know what she has gotten herself into but she runs offs on an adventure with her boss he has her take a nap once they are on the plane and she awakens in handcuffs AND you better believe she has to work to get them off but Isabella is not a wimp so she takes up the challenge but once they arrive in California and Jonathan has her get out of the limo and take a cab to the hotel she just happens to run to a man who hates Jonathan and is waving a gun around like he might actually use it on her or the cab driver but he isn't as crazy as he is acting she tries to come him down and she finally makes it to the hotel and Jonathan is livid but she still goes along with what he tells her about this person in the cab with her he then is suppose to go to a meeting with a man he is in business with but he can not leave her untied so he puts her in a chair handcuffed then leaves $20,000.00 on the night stand. Mighty strange goings on in that hotel room. Book 3 of the series should be a mouth full. Readers 18 and over. To short but interesting.

June 12, 2015I love were this book starts heading. Isabella is in for a whole lot of surprises. She will learn pretty quick who is in control and what is in store for her. But can she handle everything she has to face.
This book has challenges. I think it is a wakening for not only Isabella but for Johnathan as well. Isabella though Johnathan does he best to keep her safe finds herself facing some serious danger. What happens when someone as powerful as Johnathan is faced with someone putting his sweet Isabella in danger? No good can come of it, right?
The first book was great and had some steamy parts, but I think this one was better. I think you get to see how much Johnathan and Isabella mean to each other. The new relationship is really being put thru the fire. It can either bring them closer or pull them apart?

Whoa! Yes you still need a fan. It is hot—steamy hot. Jonathan needs to dominate Isabella Grace and she has learned she needs him to do so. But there is feeling, he lets her get glimpses but never long enough to lose his domination. However, we learn this is so much more than a relationship between a domineering man and a submissive woman. We learn that his billions come with a price and enemies. Danger is now a part of her life. Is she willing to take the chance with the danger? Does she trust him enough?
Can she really do anything he commands? Is there a limit? We shall have to wait for part 3 (darn it).
I am even more involved as the story progresses. I was in as just a relationship story, but this is so much more. Bring it on!

Book two continues the mystery of Johnathan Black and the motives behind the relationship he is seeking from Isabella. There are several twists and turns in this storyline that made me doubt Johnathan's sanity. I also had to wonder about the blind trust he seems to demand from Isabella and why she seems so desperate to give it to him. Johnathan's character is becoming more complex and Isabella seems to be seeing something in him I am missing. The sex is still sizzling but the conflicting information seems to be trying to mislead the reader and make you doubt your impression of the secretive Mr. Black. Nothing is as it seems and my curiosity has been captivated making me think the author is very clever or I am seeing something that is not there. I look forward to see where the author is going next. I rate it 3.5 stars

Isabella Grace is whisked away to California by her boss Jonathan Black. After landing he puts her in a cab with instructions to go to the hotel and wait for him. He drives away and an ex-partner jumps in Isabella's cabs and makes threats directed toward Jonathan. After seeing him breifly at the hotel, Jonathan leaves Isabella in the hotel room, he instructs her not to leave and makes sure she can't, and goes to a meetiing. While Jonathan is gone another of Jonathan's enemies comes into the hotel room and threatens not only Jonathan, but also Isabella. Jonathan vows to get revenge and to use Isabella Grace to accomplish his goal.

So you know YES this is a series so book 2 continues on where we last left off. Jonathan Black has convinced Isabella Grace to go away with him. To teach her trust she is allowed a bag with 2 items. What 2 items you ask? Hum I will let you read and find out. I will share that things are not as they seem between Jonathan and his business partners and sadly Isabella Grace is the one who seems to be getting the bad end of the stick so to speak.
This is a novel told in serial form and a very good one at that. Ana W Fawkes knows how to write great story full of intrigue and also hot as hell. I am counting the days til Part 3 is released.

This story picks up from book one where Isabella had been given a bag that contained just two things, handcuffs and a blindfold. Johnathan then whisks Isabella away with him to another city where he has a very important meeting.
Once they arrive, poor Isabella has two experiences that I am sure she could have done without, and she is learning a little bit more about Johnathan with each experience.

Book 2 picks up right where the first ends, and the adventure of Johnathon & Isabella continue. This story progresses into a suspenseful erotica thriller with twists and turns not knowing what part of Johnathon’s past will affect Isabella.
This second installment gives us more of an idea to what we can expect to see in the coming books. Now that they both know danger is just around the corner. What will Johnathon do to keep Isabella safe? I guess I’ll have to read the coming installment, and so will you!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I am reviewing a re-written version of 2015.
As the story progresses, it evolves into a erotic/suspense, as Jonathan and Isabella find themselves in a couple of questionable situations while out of town on business. This episode has more "body" in it than part one had, but I found part one more of an introduction to the characters and how they found each other. I am anxious to find out how this tale will progress and am looking forward to part three.

She is held at gunpoint twice by enemies of Jonathan. The first time was in the cab taking her to the hotel to meet Jonathan. The second time was after Jonathan had left her blindfolded and handcuffed to a chair in their hotel room. When Jonathan returns and finds Isabella, he vows to make things right for her. To be continued in book three.

As the story continues, Isabella awakens to find herself in handcuffs. She wants them off, but in order to get them off she must earn her way out of them.
The Commander wastes no time expressing his carnal desires to Isabella. Smitten with the commanding CEO, Isabella will do anything to please him and to prove her loyalty. Johnathan Black can't keep his hands off Isabella. He wants to consume her, make her his. The sex is off the charts!
I enjoyed this continuation of By His Command and am looking forward to the next installment.

I received an ARC copy of this book free for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. She is totally fascinated by Mr. Black right from the start. In this second installment she gets on his private plate and wakes up handcuffed with one of his enemies holding a gun on her, it only gets more exciting from there. This book has just enough suspense to keep you reading. Great imaginative use of characters and plot. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys their erotica with a little suspense.

Blind folded, handcuffed and whisked off to the west coast, where she goes through two deadly encounters with enemies of Mr. Black, Isabella finds herself having to earn his trust if she wants to be freed. The things a girl will do for love right???
I'm intrigued to see what happens next with Black and Isabella. As well as how he handles the threats made against Isabella and himself.
This series definitely holds your interest.

WOW. This is the second book in the series and MUST be read in order. Book 2 starts right where book 1 left ya hanging! Book 2 is exciting, exhilarating, and explores the blooming relationship between Alexander and Isabella. I'm excited to see where the author is going to take us in book 3. These are short but extremely erotic reads. Enjoy but make sure you have an extra pair of panties handy!

So intense! The relationship between Isabella and Jonathan is moving so fast it will make your head spin. They are super hot together but there is a lot we don't know about him. He's controlling, demanding and people from his life are out there to cause pain. I am ready for more of their story!

Another short one but full of danger!!!!

I got this book in exchange of an honest review, As always the book is full of action suspense and this part has more of it it is amazing what a person would do for love we all surprise ourselves with the amount of power and strength we have to risk it all for love and it is charming how she does everything he asks of her jst to prove to him her trust loyalty and love cant wait for the rest

You still like the heroine, but your still not to sure about Black. So if you want to see how the steamy scenes and hiccups play out. Check it out and continue the ride to see how it all plays out.

I received an ARC copy of this book for a honest review.Book 2 was much better with more to the story and some action. Isabella Grace in lust with Jonathan Black would do anything for him,but would she kill for him.

Holy smokes. Hot hot hot. One of the best sub-Dom books I've read to date. Ana Fawkes does an amazing job of describing scenes and sensations. Can't wait to read the next book.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review! I liked the second part to this serial. The characters are so complex. Things seem to constantly happen that you don't see coming. There is definitely violence and graphic sexual content. I'm definitely looking forward to part 3!

I really don't know how to take Jonathan Black just yet, I keep bouncing between sociopath and hard core dominant.
