Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm done now

This book was pretty much about absolutely nothing. Oh, that little thing about the two main characters finding a little girl a new home? It shouldn't have even been mentioned in the blurb because it amounted to maybe a page and has not a thing to do with the story. Disappointment is not a strong enough word for it.

Once again almost everybody was gay.
Once again about twenty-two million new characters popped up.
Oh, and 99.9% of those new characters are gay too.
At least this time we got some women.

There were some repeat characters but the fact there are so many pointless people in these books I gave up trying to remember who's who.

I'm going to say now that I probably won't read any new books in this series. It started out as a cute series and then things just went downhill. If y'all see me put another one of these books on my to-read shelf please remind me of this review. Please.

I like reading every-day life stories, because they give a glimpse of how characters live. But this story is just disappointment.
- No sustained plot
- Aristotle and Theron don't feel like the MCs
- Too many characters, too many families
- Too much like reading The Rich and the Famous,where people just give away thousands of dollars worth of gift without thinking. The problem is (except for few characters like Del) they're supposedly of middle class

Too bad,as I enjoyed other books in the series.

I felt that this book was about absolutely nothing and I didn't enjoy the silly banter between friends and family. I always tell my partner about things in the books I read but the only thing I was compelled to tell him about from this one was CHAMPION, which, on the other hand, was hilarious.

Some items were left hanging.

I guess, it's me. Talia writes good but she seems to wander off and the timelines don't match up with the other books. She basically says to read them in order. Now, I'm left hanging again. The other thing is that she doesn't mention child abuse unless, I missed it.

One of the main character name was Theron Longoria. I wonder if the name was a mixture of Charlize Theron and Eva Longoria.

I liked the other books in the series more than this one. Aristotle and Theron fell for each much too quickly. They were just too darn agreeable with each other. Also, Aristotle and his brothers gave Theron expensive electronics for his home office. When they found out that Theron's brothers like to read, they all got Kindles with gift cards. It seemed odd to give out expensive gifts or to accept such gifts after just meeting each other.

I really like this series, and I really like the main characters but noting much seemed to happen in this story. It was great catching up with the other 'Something in Common' characters, and cute watching the two MC's together but I felt like there wasn't much of a plot.
Of course I'll still be wanting and reading more of this series. :)

I loved how the large families seemed to rally around one another and were always there for one another. Each book in this series makes me fall in love with each set of main characters and just when I think my favorites are in the book I'm currently reading its time to start a new book and I fall in love all over again.

Fiction makes life so easy. This series has made for a nice escape from reality for the last few days. Quick, easy, and fun reads.
