I’m a romance novelist who has secretly been writing for the last few years and now it’s finally time to show people what I’ve been up to.
My first book was a passionate 19th century historical romance called 'Sold into Marriage'. My second book is a fun sexy contemporary romance called 'Living the Dream' new out now. My third book is NOW OUT called 'Christmas Blood' book 1 of my first paranormal series. I also have many more books up my sleeve, ranging from more sizzling historical novels and sizzling fun modern contemporary novels. I even more series of supernatural fantasy novels planned, so stay tuned - you wouldn't want to miss out!
Please don't forget to keep an eye out for my christmas special called 'Christmas Blood'. Which book 1 of my sexy supernatural paranormal world. x
I'm also an avid book worm if I'm not reading then I'm listening to an audio book. Authors love me because once I've discovered them: I read ever last one of their books then move on to the next, but their never forgotten! Once I have a author on my book shelves I will alway be looking for more from them!
It's not an apple day for me, it's a book a day, if I had my way! ;-D
This is a book which has an excellent plot which couples simple country living with the extravagance of a movie stars lifestyle. The story line carries you along easily and knits together perfectly. The humour in certain situations comes through clearly as does the fear, uncertainty, love, confusion, empathy, concern, friendship and passion.
Maxi Shelton has a gift for drawing character’s who come alive on the page even, minor character’s who don’t feature very much. As a reader you are drawn into the lives in the book and you really care about what happens to them all.
Unfortunately the book is very poorly proofread. It is riddled with errors throughout. This is a huge distraction whilst reading the novel and would lead to many people abandoning it through sheer frustration. This is a real shame as the plot and characters are great. Therefore despite the positives I can only give Living The Dream 3/5 stars.
