Cartel and Adina are the rose that grew from the concrete. Drama, hardships, and life altering events threatened the couple who wanted nothing more that to be happy, free, and at peace. After an emotional beginning these two have finally found their journey to a happy ending.

Somebody hand me a tissue!!! 😭🤧😭🤧Black Love is a beautiful thing and I will always root for it! 🖤🤍 I love the way Cartel loves Adina! Their little family is everything and they deserved this HEA so much!!
I can’t wait to read about Alaina and Roosavelt! I already know what type of time Reese is going to be on during his book! It definitely seems like some drama is brewing with his story and we love to see it 😆😆
One thing you can count on from KB is, she gon’ always come through with a beautiful display of black love. Adina and Cartel’s nuptials were incredibly heartwarming and romantic. The way I clutched my invisible pearls and cried my way through their vows?!!! Whew! When I say the black love was on display, it was on full display! The love these two have for each other is so intense, it’s almost overwhelming but, in a good way. I loved seeing a healed Adina finally come into her own and relish in the love she’s so deserving of. I love the life she and Cartel have built for themselves with the twins and I’m so happy they finally got their HEA. It was definitely well deserved. This book gave me all the feels. Commit To You is a prime example of why we stan black romance on this side of Goodreads. Give me black love all day every day.
Just as I expected: sweet with all the feels. No one deserves a happy ending and HEA more than Adina and Cartel. They're still as in love as they were since the beginning. Their nuptials were blush and tears worthy. Wait till you hear those vows. 😭😭 Get into the Jareau's y'all. I love them. They're a treat to get to know. Can't wait for the remaining siblings. Hats off, KB.
Finally Cartel and Adina get their HEA. I can’t wait for Jorja and Walker wedding which I suspect would be the next wedding special. Alaina and Roosevelt finally making moves 🥰🥰. I’m interested to see who Reese is trying to wife.
Adina and Cartel finally get their HEA🥹🥹 What a sweet story! It was beautiful seeing Adina healed and accepting of love. She continued to take steps to remain whole and it was sad and beautiful at the same time. Cartel is the epitome of a supportive man. I loved how he honors their connection and always shows up for Adina. They were committed to their sweet family and I loved that they couldn't get enough of each other. Yesss the reception can wait 😜 What a triumphant love story for the newest Jareau's. ❤️💕♥️
I loved seeing their wedding 😍😍😍 they definitely came a long way and to see Adina getting loved the way she deserved was so amazing. Cartel will forever be my favorite because the sacrifices that man went thru was unconditional love for sure. This series is a MUST buy. JJ was the man at the reception 🤣🤣🤣 I so loved that and the wedding song I just watched that episode 😍. Again Kimberly thank you for an amazing story of black love!!!
This is the wedding epilogue for Cartel and Adina. It’s slightly spicier than Jamison and Aleyivah. As I was reading I wondered why. Then I realized that Cartel and Adina been through so much there wasn’t much spice in their book. The spice is used to show the growth of their relationship and how they’ve come together both spiritually and physically. It was a joyful way to end their story.
So glad that Adina and Cartel received their happy ever after. They sure deserved it. It was good seeing the updates of the other couples and baby someone gonna be pregnant next LOL! I’m eager to read about Reese and his sister Alaina.
This update on Adina and Cartel was beautiful. After all they've been through, this wedding showed just how deep their love for each other was. Im glad their journey resulted in a beautiful union and a growing family. Can't wait for the next Jareau's love story.
I loved it when Cartel said if you hear any screaming..... mind your business 😂😂😂 the love between these two was Awesome, the first time he seen her he knew she was it, they went through a lot to get to this point but he let her know that he was not going anywhere she was it for him. When he showed up at her appointment cause he felt her spirit was off .... Dann that is your soulmate she didn't even have to say a word. Now after they said I Do and he picked her up and they went inside that suite I was laughing my butt off cause I knew it was going to be on and popping, but you know Reese had to say something oh and Junie asked JJ to dance.... so sweet and Reese just had to say something he is too much. Love this family😍
i must admit i did not read Cartel and Adina’s path to love because it would be triggering for me, but i did read their wedding and boy did i love it!!! ofc i missed the nitty gritty details but my mental health first lol 😂 i say all that to say, even thou did not read their love story, i know what happened and how they got their happy ending. i love that for them. Asian has been through hell and back and Cartel has proven time and time again how he will not let anyone get in the way of their happiness. he proves that he’d lay his life for her if it came to it. that’s true love. i’m so happy they got their happy ending. they’re so cute!!!
Kimberly, you be using them words, girl! I don’t know if I have a favorite Jareau man, but baby when I say I LOVE all of them… I mean all! Adina and Cartel’s story is one of passion; truly triumph after so many trials and tribulations. It’s so refreshing to see a man being the one to manifest the couple’s future. The way they love each other?! Whew! I’m so happy they got their happy ending and get to live happily ever after. If this family truly exists, can I marry into it, 😂😅?! Another excellent read by my fav!
Ms. Brown, again, with these wedding stories, your writing hits me right in the feels! If I'm not smiling and gushing, I'm laughing at the brothers, and when I'm not laughing, I'm in tears with my hand over my heart. All that Cartel and Adina suffered through, fought to survive, brought them to this moment where they'd finally join together as a family and become the Jareaus! Beautiful and Amazing!
This was so beautiful 🥹🥹 I had so many emotions reading this. Cartel is a true king and I’m so happy Adina came into the woman she was meant to be after all the trauma. I was almost boho crying when she asked papa Jareau to walk her down the aisle along with her father 😭 ugh! I hope Alaina and Roosevelt story is next. Reese needs a little more time for growth lol. This series just keeps getting better and I’m dreading it’s ending 😫
Beautiful!!!…I can sum this book up with one word!!!…The fact that Cartel and his niece song for the brides entrance had me smiling with tears!!… Adina story was so relatable and I was so happy that she acknowledged Papa Jareau presence and heartfelt gesture and protection!!!… This story was beautifully written and nothing, I mean nothing was missed leading up to this marriage!!!…
Kimberly has done it yet again! I’ll tell you now, I’m gonna be sad when I come to reading the final book in this series. It’s just so much love shared and good lessons learned. It’s put many new perspectives on my marriage and this series represents healthy black love. I loved the entire storyline and the spice was 4/5. Highly recommended-the entire series!
I literally don't think I've ever cried so much in my life. This was like the perfect you know ending to their love story. The tears the water works that I felt oh my God. I felt the love and the spirit of adina and cartel through this book. You don't just make sure I want to love like that.
I absolutely loved Cartel and Adina! They went through so much, especially Adina. I love their connection and ability to communicate as adults. Their souls were connected. The family connections was so refreshing, just love, happiness and respect. The Jareau family has class, love support, loyalty and they're one another's keeper. A great love story!
This was a wonderful addition, an excellent follow up to their story. Sometimes we are own worst enemy, you have to do the work on yourself as well as being there for others. Reading this book I could see it like a movie. Thank you for these characters and their love shining through so eloquently!!
This was a beautiful update on Cartel and Adina. I loved seeing their journey come full circle. They deserve all the happiness from the all the tragedy they experienced just to be together. Their relationship shows that behind every storm there is sunshine and rainbows on the other side. I look forward to what comes next with this family.
This was such a beautiful ceremony! I was so glad Adina finally freed her mind of the demonic first mess of a husband! The ceremony I could just imagine in my mind! I can hardly wait for Alaina and Roosevelt to discover they want each other! Absolutely beautiful story!
Laughing, wiping tears and a heart full of love for Adina and Cartel’s journey to the altar made this story worth reading. Their love came a long ways and to wrap it up with a wedding of new beginnings surrounded by family and love made their story an enjoyable read.
I absolutely loved this series and author. These books i read in order, and binged till the last page. The family love, loyalty, commitment, and unselfish gift of giving is truly beautiful. The tests of trials/tribulations, growing and surviving from them enlightened my heart. Thank you Kimberly Brown!
This had me in stiches one minute and in tears the next minute. I am so glad that Adina met Cartel and he was her knight in shinning armor. This story paralleled my life story , and I found my happy ending. Cartel was in love and willing to fight for their happy ending. What a beautiful story.
The way these Jareau men show up for their women. Cartel did not disappoint with how he loved Dina. That doctors office scene gave so much life to this story. How he went to her when she didn’t think she needed him. How he gave her the time she needed to sit in her feelings. This wedding was a favorite.
