He was one of the most respected lawyers in the state, and Regan McIntyre wanted to practice law with him.
But Nick Wainwright, she soon realized, had chauvinistic attitudes that belonged in the Middle Ages - he believed a woman's place was in the home. Nick didn't have any idea of how to deal with a female colleague. First he treated her like a slave, then a promising lawyer. He was constantly confusing Regan by his actions.
But she was just as confused by her own reactions - because far from despising Nick, Regan was afraid she was falling in love with him...
Seriously!!!!! h: A promising upcoming lawyer , who has worked so hard for her degree from fucking Stanford and is resigning from her dream job and for what Why do authors do this to us?? Why can't they be sensible solution rather than what was said here where was the resolution, the H jerk he is said we can work out but what?? I didn't feel they came to any resolution and it's gonna be a problem for sure. Why do h rate themselves so low I always have this problem with HP romances, i am mad about them but it always comes down to this: Either Hero doesn't deserve heroine or she doesn't deserve the Hero or sometimes they both deserve each other I have no problem with people making their own decisions i just want them to be equal partners and even if not possible but atleast clear on what they both want from each other.
