'From the very start I like the title; a clever yet quiet pun on both the personal obsession of the main character and a more cosmic sequence of endless second chances and mistakes made more than once. That title alone is a good signal for the well-engineered surface dram and more intuitive underlying insights to come. These characters are trapped in the slow tension of a mid-20th century outlaw tragedy. There is a simplicity to this story's that makes it seem like a grown up storybook on unhappy endings and princes who never come back. Love the scale, the motion, it's high action captured at its most thrilling moment. Also, some deep commentary here; maybe living a thrilling life is more important than a long life. Still, there is an unmistakable note of regret, a hint that this is the final misstep in a life full of missteps and underachievement's. Some of the deepest, most meaningful things in comics are said with the images, not necessarily with words. I think Shia does this really well.' - Adam McGovern (ComicCritique)
