SHE GOES THERE!!! A collection of raw and poignant poetry and prose by H. Raven Rose.
What I loved about it...
I loved the frankness and the author’s ability to go there and be vulnerable, even though at times I was disturbed by the injustice of it all. (Samantha’s husband’s behavior while she lay dying – made me furious and wish the SOB never lived happily ever after. Wished he would find himself in Samantha’s shoes one day).
Cathartic much? I’ll bet it was.
I loved the flow of her words, her writing almost lyrical. (The sky is my father—distant, above and ever watchful. The earth is my mother, nascent, dark and damp—redolent in her moist, deep beauty.) I loved her honesty about her relationship with David – the hurt, the outrage, the sadness. I was touched.
Most disturbing to me and saddening, was the role playing bit with David. (Don’t want to give too much away so I’ll watch my words.) I guess it would disturb any reader. It was interesting how the author tried to put it in perspective. Tried.
Most fascinating to me is how different H.Raven Rose’s works are. I've read Dark Eros and now Liquid me and they are chalk and Camembert, yet Raven excels in both. No wonder (refer to her bio) she’s had such successes in life. Highly recommended and I look forward to more from H. Raven Rose.
