The first half it's very educative, but it could have been better writted, it's little too robotic and tiring at some points.
The second half, where he speaks about two and three dimensional design is straight up a transcription of narration of a video, but without the video. This makes the reading a whole lot more harder and exhausting, even stressful at some points. Concepts-wise the book is a killer, but the overly objective way the info is presented makes the reading more like a challenge than a pleasureful time.

Still i do recommend it, there's a lot of gold there if you have te focus to find it.

This book is a good reference to know especially the basic principle of forms. This is very helpful to use as a reference for designing three dimensional forms seen in a perspective of art concepts. It has several editions already, but it is still compatible to use in the present, I personally still use this book as my reference.
