If you like murder mysteries that plays like a soap opera, this Will Trent series is for you! I couldn’t get enough of it. You keep reading like Will is a good friend and you just want everything to turn out okay for him. Loved all 5 books rolled into I gigantic book!! Quarantine me more if there are more stories with Will Trent!!!

The Will Trent books are easily some of my favourite crime reads. Slaughter creates a gripping story every time, with the books getting stronger as you move through the series (I admit, in the first book I wasn’t overly bothered by Will Trent but he grew on me and in no time at all he had earned a spot as one of my favourite fictional police officers).

Each story is wonderful, and I believe every crime fan should pick up the Will Trent books.

I liked the series as a whole. Some books more than others. It's a darker read than what I usually do... Careful if you are sensitive to certain triggers-violence, rape, drug use.
