I was very excited to start this one because it's a book about ROCKSTARS! BUT, what a major letdown this book was.

So, the first line goes like this:
Lightening blazed across the panoramic view of Lake Michigan as Cheyenne logged off of her laptop.

See, the first word is already a typo. but I kept on reading telling myself it doesn't matter and maybe the story will make up for it.

Well, it didn't work for me.

Sex, Drugs & Rock n' Roll. What else could you ask for? This tale was not too steamy and turned out to be a pretty quick and enjoyable read. Cheyenne is a music journalist and Stephanie is the photographer. They both work for a music magazine that is run by Steph's father. They are hired to write the first interview piece for Fury, who has stayed out of the spotlight but are set to hit the States for the first time.

Cheyenne has a past of stripping and rockers that has her a bit insecure - but all that is bound to change once she locks eyes with Scot the bassist. But between the 5 band members, Cheyenne, Stephanie and the odd ball Goddess things don't go as planned.

As Cheyenne is tossed into the mix of guys causing a lot of band drama and Stephanie is mixed up with Phillip throwing verbal assaults at each other - things just get crazier. Add to that the suspicious management team and some unsavory roadies, and you have quite a story that is far beyond just a few gals falling for rock stars.

It was refreshing to read a rock band story that did not leave you pissed at slutty groupies or wanting to set fire to their personal belongings. They were definite good boys, not yet corrupted by fame. Cheyenne and Stephanie finally get the story finished and it is a hit - and after weeks of being back in the states they are set to have another run in with the band after all the drama has been settled - but some major changes are about to happen.

Was a very good story and read - the ending seemed a bit rushed, but allowed the story to be told without having to go into another book to finish of the tale.

Oh cover-trickery, you strike again! I had such high hopes for this one and after reading the description and several reviews, thought I'd adore this book. Romance with a band? Where do I sign up? It's a shame Fury fell short.

I'm always willing to overlook minor typos and misspellings, but this book is absolutely FILLED with those as well as many grammatical errors. This would only be a reason for the loss of one star, however. The story itself had potential to be amazing. Hot group of guys, two young women, touring overseas, rock and roll... but no. I felt the no connection to Cheyenne whatsoever. She was quite the dull character to be honest. Stephanie I thought was a much better lead. She was funny, witty, and easy to like. I enjoyed the characters of Phillip and Nathan, but the rest of the band was blah for me. The romance between Cheyenne and Scot felt too contrived. I didn't feel any chemistry between them and their few romantic scenes were skimmed over. I did like the dynamic between Steph and Phillip as well as the crazed Steph/Goddess relationship. Had it not been for Steph's rants, I would have stopped reading early on.

The actual story was loooooonnnnnggggg and drawn out, only to be solved in a matter of pages. It made things very unbelievable. The ending wrapped up the relationships far too easily. Unfortunately, Fury left me wanting more of everything.

Sex, Scandal, and Rock N Roll
Fury has that and more.

Cheyenne Carson has been working her butt off to make it as a music journalist at "The Sound Wave" and to leave behind a dark past. When she gets the opportunity to interview the band, Fury, she knows this is her big break. Fury is a British band trying to make it big in the US. Up until this point Fury has never done interviews, but to make it in America they need the exposure. That's where Cheyenne and her best friend / co-worker, Stephanie, come in. They go on tour with the band so that Cheyenne can write the article and for Steph to take amazing photos. Little do they know, scandals and lies were right under their noses.

The Band: Phillip, Scot, Nathan, David, and Bret
They each have strong personalities and bring something different to the band and the story. Also, I really enjoyed the bands banter and their interactions with the girls.

'Fury' did start off a little slow for me. At times, it felt a little all over the place. I wasn’t sure when it picked up, but once it did I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.

If you like hot rock stars and a little mystery ‘Fury’ is the book for you.

P.s. Hot British rock stars? Yes please!

I will admit it, I love my band books... I love the D-Bags and the Sinners... and now I can add one more amazing band to my list. I love the Fury.
I went into this book thinking, ok, so how is this band book going to knock me off my feet? I have already lived through Kellan Kyle and the Debags and Master Sinclair and the Sinners... well, this book was so much more than I bargained for. And I loved it!
The charachters were well developed from the beginning and I didn't feel like I was left questioning any of their lives, past or present, as I do with so many other books.
I will say this book even hit on one of my big pet peeves and yet I managed to get through it without freaking out, as it was handled in such a great way. I know my name is the same as one of the main charachters and different people call me different names, mostly I am Stephanie or Steph. So often when I read books that use my name, I get annoyed as if the write cannot decide which version to use so the alternate. This book avoided that and I am so very thankful. Sometimes the biggest consistency in a charachter for a reader is as simple as a name. These lovely ladies handled it perfectly. And for that, THANK YOU!
Now that my minor tanget is over... on with the book... I cannot say I loved any one charachter over another in this book. However, I can tell you that I did not like Ian from the first time his name appeared, as it turns out, I have pretty good insticts too!
Scot was everything a band member and boyfriend should be. He tried so hard to win the heart of Cheyenne and it was almost mind-numbing how relentless she was to allow that wall to be torn down. But Steph's wall was so much grander, she took the entire book to realize what a hardheaded person she was. Though I loved the termoil these two ladies brought to the story, I felt myself really enthralled with the relationship between Cheyenne and Scot. They were the two charachters from the beginning of the story that captured my heart. I wanted them to win. I wanted them to succeed...
The other charachter that brought this book to live was Goddess. Now, for more than half the book, I could never figured out why no one asked her what her real name was... no one... I would think at some point it would have been asked. Yes, they asked where the name came from but not what her real name was... But listen if that is my biggest issue with this story line, I can live with that because in the end, it really didn't matter if her name was Goddess, Mary Poppins or Glenda the Good Witch. She was a great charachter.
This was a great book with twists and turns and one hot band... I loved it and I am so glad that I started my new year off with such a hot book.
Michelle Pace and Tammy Coons should be commended on this book. It was well written, had amazing charachters and a fabulous plot.

I liked this book but it was a little slow to start for me. It took until around chapter 11 to start picking up. Please don't let that deter you from reading it. It's different from your normal rock n' roll story. It had mystery, intrigue, romance and less we not forget hot Rock Stars. Once it started taking off it kept on going and didn't miss a beat and kept on going until the very last page. It kept me guessing and the plot was completely different from what I was expecting which is a VERY good thing!

The two main females are Steph and Cheyenne, they are best friends that work at a music entertainment magazine. Steph is the photographer and Cheyenne is the writer. They get sent on a month long excursion with the band FURY. Here is what I liked about the characters...They were complete opposites from one another but complimented each other so well. They didn't tip toe around each other and I liked that. They said what was on their mind and got over it. That shows true friendship!

The men of FURY were equally different in their own right. Here is where the Author's truly rocked it...They can write for a man and you picture a man actually saying what they were saying. Make sense? It should. There is nothing worse then reading a book and you can no way shape or form see a guy saying something and it almost sounds more feminine or it can be the opposite and it's too domineering. So not the case. They did a spectacular job of writing for the men. Scot was by far my favorite of the FURY. He was sincere and grabbed me from page 1. Sometimes the characters are too cocky and too sure of themselves. That was definitely not Scot. Nathan took the cake with the cockiness. I wished there had been a few more scenes between Scot and Cheyenne though.

Phillip and Steph were the antagonistic couple that irritated each other from first sight. We know where antagonism almost always leads to though right? Sparks fly baby!

Overall I truly enjoyed it. The mystery was great and I liked the well thought out plot. It was well thought out, thoroughly. Definitely a book worth reading. Would love to see Nathan find a woman that knocks him on his ass and sends him down a peg or two. Book 2 of the Fury men? Hopefully!

This book was full of drama!

The story follows Cheyenne, a music journalist, and her best friend Steph, a photographer, as they follow the elusive band Fury around Europe. I don’t even know how to summarize this one... there was so much going on. I will tell you, its not just a rockstar love story. There is some suspense, drama, crime, and of course some sex, drugs, and rock and roll!

There were many story lines, not only do you get Cheyenne and Steph, there are five band members. I really loved some of the band members- they were all so different. My favorite character was definitely Steph. She was funny, snarky and awesome... If the story was mainly her and Philips story, it would have got a higher rating! Loved her. Cheyenne was okay... at first I really liked her and she had an interesting back story, but as the story went on, she didn’t grow on me. I did however like Scot and David, but not as much as Phillip... he was my favorite guy in the band!

The cover is fantastic, and it wasn’t a bad book, just wasn’t as good as I hoped. Although many that love a good rockstar book with tons of drama may enjoy it, it was just alright for me.

i'm a sucker for a bad boy....gimme a whole band full and i should have known i'd be a goner. when the book first started, i wasn't so sure where it was going. i wanted to pull the stick out of cheyenne's ass....and i wanted to go hang out with steph. i loved the description of Ian....because, dude was SLIMY...you could just feel it. lines like, "his huge hands made her giddy," i mean, any swoony female (and even the ones who won't own up to loving stuff like that) is gonna love that. the whole deeper reason behind Ian and his cohorts was a nice twist. there were parts of the book that were rather informational for me, and while i know they were necessary, it was just a bit much for me to wrap my head around. there was one particular line that will stick with me....
"There is a great deal of ugliness in this world, and there's beauty hiding in plain sight. Don't be afraid to grasp happiness when it's dangled in front of you." I mean. seriously....how many of us can relate to that?

yes, there were editing errors, yes, there were other issues, but seriously, such a fabulous story and um, hot, bad boy rockstars WITH accents??? yes. please.

This book is totally a Rock soap opera!

The cover art and description drew me in. I was not exactly sure what to expect. What I got was a wild romp around Europe with a band. You have 5 band members, 2 best friends, and a quirky intern thrown together with an exasperated father/magazine owner, creepy band management staff and mean Roadies. So there was bound to be tension, fights, hook ups, angst, drama, romance, and fun.

Fury is a British band with 5 hot guys with very different personalities.
Scot the smart, sweet bass player
Phillip the obnoxious, misunderstood lead singer
Nathan the flirty, narcissistic keybardist
David the level headed drummer
Bret the mature, married lead guitarist with a son

Stephanie is outspoken and constantly embarrassing her father that owns The Sound Wave magazine. Cheyenne is her best friend who also writes for the magazine. Cheyenne is damaged by her past and it flows over into her present. She had a creed based on past experience: No Dating anyone in a band.

They are assigned to go on tour with Fury and write a groundbreaking article to introduce them to the American audience.

"...your fans hardly know anything about you. My article will deliver the personalities to go with the faces they have on their walls. Colorful personalities to say the least."

The book flows fast since there is so much going on. You are thrust into the mayhem of a tour with the varying personalities. The girls were sassy and sarcastic. The boys had sharp wits, could be quite charming, and also obnoxious.

A few of the lines that made me giggle:

"Not only am I going straight to hell, but I've got a first class ticket and a penthouse suite overlooking the lake of fire."

"Laundry day?" He asked looking her up and down. "Travel clothes. And you? Prince called, he wants his suit back."

"He's so pretty," Steph sighed. "Too bad he was dropped on his head as a child."

The interactions among the characters could be sweet at times and very frustrating at others. I had my favorite couples picked out from the beginning and enjoyed seeing them fight, love, make up, struggle, fight and love some more. They had good chemistry and I was hoping they would find their way through the mess. There was quite a bit of immature behavior and angst, but totally believable since it is about a young band with strong personalities. Such naughty boys!

There was some mystery and intrigue with behind the scenes story lines interwoven throughout the book.

I did have some issues with how the authors allowed the main character Cheyenne to use poor judgment in several situations. The smoking and drinking seemed to be quite excessive too.

I liked that it had an epilogue to wrap up the story lines and that made me happy. It was a fast, fun read.

Fury is unlike anything I've read recently. For starters, I haven't yet read any co-authored book and was interested to see if it looked like a seamless story. It did. Secondly, the blend of romance, mystery, and rock-and-roll was so well balanced I really felt like I was on tour with the band, and a fly on the hotel room walls.

There are several sub stories woven together with great care in Fury, and you will find your jaw dropping at each love scene, crime scene, and flight.

I loved that each character was completely different. The band wasn't written as one entity; each of the five band members had distinct personalities. So much so, that if you were to give me five lines of dialogue at this point, I could probably tell you which band member they came from. Phillip, Scot, Dave, Nathan, and Bret each bring a bit (a lot) of sexiness to the table, but through well-crafted dialogue and interviews Cheyenne conducts for her project with The Sound wave, we learn that each man brings an important piece of themselves to the table.

My thoughts and feelings on Cheyenne, the main character, are mixed. The book starts off a bit "info-dumpy" for my taste regarding her past. We're given everything up front - and I mean everything. By the time her past comes back to "bite" her, so to speak, I'd sort of forgotten about it because it was mentioned once and barely mentioned thereafter. I would have preferred a slower revealing of Cheyenne's character to prevent being confused about some of her choices/ inner monologue later on in the story. If Cheyenne didn't have a supporting cast, her story would have gotten 3 stars from me.

My absolute favorite character in Fury is Steph Brier, Cheyenne's roommate, co-worker, and daughter of "The Sound Wave" mogul, Adam Brier. Why, you might ask? Because of lines like this:

"Rum," Steph ordered forcefully, and the bartender gave her a sideways glance. "Splash a little coke in there if it makes you feel better."

That is just a taste of what to expect from brash, bold, and sarcastic Steph. She's a 5-star character and I want more from her one way or another.

My favorite band member is Phillip; but I'll let you read to find out why ;)

If you like romance, read Fury. If you like mystery, read Fury. If you like hard-core rock-and-roll bands on tour, read Fury.

Long story short, read Fury.

How does one co-author a book? This is something that I can’t wrap my mind around. However, it is done; Michelle Pace and Tammy Coons did it well with Fury.

Fury is the story of magazine writer Cheyenne as she takes on the assignment of her career writing the feature story for the publication she works for by touring with a rock group. But not just any group, her assignment is to interview Fury, who previously banned all interviews, as they work toward worldwide success. What an assignment! From the moment Cheyenne and, her co-worker/best friend, Stephanie arrived to meet the band the edge of your seat moments begin.

This book was filled with plenty of interesting twists and characters. There is plenty of drama unfolding with an overall mystery behind the band, the tour and the band’s manager. Sound complicated? Well it was a bit, but it the writing made these subplots work smoothly with the main storyline of the book. This tale was provocative and kept me turning the (virtual) pages.

There is attraction, romance, some games are afoot, and plenty of emotion, confusion, sex, scandal, violence and mystery to fill the pages. I liked that there were, what seemed to be, several stories emerging within this book and I just didn’t know where the next turn would take me. The writing was descriptive and I was emerged into the places where the band toured and felt like I was walking through these locations right alongside the characters. The only place I found the descriptiveness lacking was with the romance and ‘the sex’. I wanted more here, I’m greedy. Of course, this is my preference and these scenes were good, but I like more details when there is sheet clenching going on.

Fury is filled with complex members, who these authors bring to light. I liked that I was able to see the personalities of these characters developed throughout the book. The authors did a great job making the Brits believable. Cheyenne and Stephanie are intriguing and their troubles and their pasts made the story more appealing.

Tammy Coons and Michelle Pace did a great job with this collaboration, and being this is their first work that I have read, I look forward to seeing more. Give it a try!!

Possibly more like 2.5.

I never really liked Cheyenne. She felt rather boring, despite the background she had. I did like Steph and felt she would have been a much better lead.

The typos/incorrect words/missing words did bug me. The other thing that bugged me was the info dump at the beginning about both Cheyenne and Steph, then later there was spoon feeding. It felt rather abrupt, even though there was supposed to be some mystery there. Perhaps if their backgrounds had been drawn out just a bit more it would have been better. At times I felt like the story itself was being drawn out just a bit much and wanted it to be over. There was all the build up, and the resolution was over almost too quickly. Also, there seemed to be way too much going on in the story. Was it a love story, a mystery, or a crime story?

I guess I had more hopes for this book and was a bit let down.

You can't usually go too wrong when the story involves bad boy rock stars but unfortunately this one did not hit the mark for me. There are too many main and secondary characters so its hard to develop any real connection. As well there is too much going on at times to be able to follow easily. The main female characters are both unprofessional and at times just plain whiny and unlikable. The big reveal was just hohum because it didn't really effect any of the many main characters. There were a few special moments in this but mostly I had to force myself to finish this one. Can I just say though... Love The Cover!

Hot Rock stars, sex and drugs, sounds like the beginning of a great story. I enjoy reading rock star romance with the bad boy image thrown into it. Fury was a slow start considering all the background that was given about the main character Cheyenne. As you read the story it unfolds nicely but you figure out what is going to happen before it happens, sad but true. I liked the smart mouth Stephanie and her interaction with Philip but as soon as the build began it ended. It’s a good story, just wish it had more of a power punch to it considering all the different facets of each character.

I couldn't connect with the characters at all. The POV's kept jumping all over & there were too many of them.
There was too much information thrown at you about certain characters, I felt like I was been told as opposed to shown who everyone was and that was supposed to be enough for me to care. Unfortunately it wasn't.

At 20% in, I knew I wanted to stop. The writing was confusing and the characters were awful and did things that didn't make sense. I kept trying though--I hate to not finish a book. At 60%, I just couldn't read any more--it just kept getting worse.

Fury (Book 1) in The Sound wave series
Rage (Book 2) to be released 12/03/13

Cheyenne Carson is from a small town in Iowa with a reasonable upbringing. She always fantasized about being able to travel. After falling in with a bad crowd and having a string of bad luck, she decides to head out for a fresh start.

After going through different career paths, some of which she would like to stay hidden and just that, in her past. Finally she was left with little choice to start working for a small newspaper (which is better than what she had been doing previously). However Cheyenne knew she wanted so much more. Being a music buff, her goal had been to write about the music industry. Cheyenne’s attention to detail ended up proving a triumph for her when she landed the position of her dreams at a big magazine called The Sound Wave.

Cheyenne’s assignment was to go on tour with the Rock Band Fury and write an article on each of the band members, which proved to be her most difficult task. Thankful she had her best friend Stephanie on assignment with her. (Stephanie was to take their photographs while Cheyenne wrote). With Fury being the ultimate private band, never allowing for other magazines to personally interview them; she knew she had her work cut out for her. After all, hers would be the first article on the band so it had to be a blow out.

Now let’s get into the band. They are H-O-T-T-!!!!! No other explanations needed right??? Michelle Pace and Tammy Coons did a great job at writing into each of the band member’s characters. Letting you get to know each one of their personalities and bringing them out in different parts of the book where they play out well to each scenario. I loved the entire band that is except for Nathan. He was such a Dou&%e bag. But every group has to have one right? Ugh I just wanted to slap him over and over again with how he thinks he can treat women. Egotistical jerk, but grateful there is David, Scot, and Phillip to help equal his attitude out.

This book was filled with drama, sex, drugs, secrets, and let’s not forget more drama. I’m glad I was introduced to this book as I just could not stop reading and anticipating for what drama to come. Seriously there was so much drama that happens behind the scenes and even backstage; literally!!! I was on edge gasping through this book. If you have not read Fury, I suggest pick you a copy of this up NOW! Before Rage (book 2) comes out so you can be prepared for some more juicy drama!

Giveaway: Fury autographed book giveaway Expires 1/14/13

Who doesn't like a book about hot rock stars? Well I am not one of those people! I love a book that follows rock stars but even better the book follows rockers through Europe. **sigh** I want to get there so badly. Okay, back to the subject at hand. In Fury we meet up with Cheyenne and Stephanie--a reporter and photographer for a top US magazine--get the chance to interview and photograph the group while traveling with them on their tour. The Sound Wave would be the equivalent to Rolling Stones Magazine.

For Cheyenne this is her big break! She has a bit of a past (you learn about it in the book) that she isn't proud of but has worked really hard to prove herself and get this opportunity. Stephanie is a super talented photographer who happens to be the daughter of the owner of The Sound Wave and Cheyenne's best friend.

The tour is filled with lots of drama, tension, and secrets. Fury has been cut off from all media and their first encounter with the girls from The Sound Wave doesn't go so well. The girls need to remember that they are on a job and must muddle their way through the groupies, in-house drama and management in order to get their interviews completed and photographs taken.

In theory doing their job shouldn't be a problem but it's not working out that way for Cheyenne and Stephanie. However, Stephanie was forced to leave her assistant at home and had to settle for a newbie from Los Angeles. This adds to the stress of getting the job completed with an end product that the girls will be proud to display.

Will they be able to complete their project and still be friends? What secrets will be revealed on the tour? Being in close contact with the band, will one (or both) of the girls get caught up in the hype? How will the band react to outsiders following their every move and questioning them about their lives? You'll just have to read to find out the answers!! I know I'm terrible...hehe!!

Thanks for reading my review!!

I have read many books about rock stars and bands and I will never get tired of them! This book is another great addition to that category of books!!

Cheyenne writes for a music publication and lands the job of a lifetime- to fly to Europe and travel with the band Fury as they tour. She is to interview them and write an article on them. This is a big opportunity for her because the band usually stays away from interviews and press. Cheyenne’s best friend and roommate, is also assigned to go to photograph the band. Once they fly to Europe and meet the band, things go a little crazy. There is adventure, love, drama, humor, drugs, heartache and craziness. And it is all written so well and in such detail!!!!

I loved every character in this book. I felt so bad for Cheyenne- she let her past affect her current relationships to the point that she couldn’t recognize a good thing when it was in front of her. And Stephanie was great- she was so witty and had a smart mouth. She was also independent and a strong woman. Every band member of Fury (there are 5) was well written and given a lot of attention in the story- each one had a storyline. They were so funny and the banter between them was fantastic. I also loved that they used English terms- I could picture them goofing around with their accents. And they were all so HOT in their own way!!! I definitely had a crush or two on the band members but my favorite was Scot.

I don’t know how Tammy and Michelle were able to co-write this book and do such a fantastic job. I have read quite a few books that were co-authored but they were written so that each author took a different character and they alternated writing paragraphs or chapters. I am not sure how Tammy and Michelle were able to write together and have the story be so seamless. The detail given to each scene and situation was also great. Fury is definitely a great debut novel for them. I would love to see a book 2 to see how some of the characters’ lives continue!!

So I will admit that I got this book when it was free on Amazon. It had been sitting on my wish list for a while, so I jumped at the chance when it was free. J I thought sexy guy on the cover, rock stars, love story, can’t go wrong right?

Well, the first thing that threw me was that the rock stars were British! Wow! It was a bit funny reading how they talked and described things. I loved that they said things like snogged and shagged to describe sexual encounters. Sure sounds better than some ways we Americans describe the same acts.

Cheyenne and Stephanie are complete opposites when it comes to personalities, but how they are opposite just complements their friendship. It only makes sense in a journalism world for a photographer and a journalist to be best friends.

I loved how the band treated each other like family. Everything they did was not only for the better of the band, but to cover one another's backs….even when they disagreed. There were the typical rock star antics, but nothing that anyone that has read books about rock stars wouldn’t expect.

I immediately thought something was up when Cheyenne and Stephanie were sent on their trip, but it takes the entire book to find out what it is. I wasn’t impressed with all the alcohol that was drank throughout the book, but it is fitting for the story. The main thing that bothered me was how rushed the ending felt. Yes, it had a HEA, but I felt it could have been better written.

Fury is a stand-alone story, even though I was hoping that the author would write other stories giving more details about the other band members or more details as to how Cheyenne and Stephanie’s lives end up. However, I am glad that I read this book and I truly enjoyed it more than I originally thought I would. If you are into the whole rock star books then this must go on your TBR list!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

I was given the second book in this series as an ARC so I purchased FURY first so I could read #1..

I gave this book 5 stars.

This book focuses on two couples.

The story follows Cheyenne, a music journalist, and her best friend Steph, a photographer, as they follow the elusive band Fury around Europe.

This is not a rock star romance book, I think it focused more on the things happening around the band, and the mysterious things that keep happening.

Yes there is love, Cheyenne and Scot fight a connection and Steph and Phillip fight a connection. These four fire up the pages. But it's not simply I like you you like me. They make it very difficult and fight it all the way!!

And in between all the love angst there is tons of other things going on and Cheyenne and Stephanie are not going to stop until they find out what is going on. But when they push it too far what will happen when they are confronted ??

This was a very good story. Kept me on the edge of my seat and wondering what the heck was going on. There was tons of angst and they left me angry at more then one of them most of the time.
I love a rocker story and there was just enough of the rockers in this that made it enjoyable for me!! You get to learn each member of FURY which I loved.
Well written. Great Characters, and side Characters, some comedy that had me laughing. Thank you for the great book Michelle I look forward to reading more of your work <3

British rockers?! Heck Ya!!!! Fury sends you into a FRENZY!!!
There are some that might think this is just another rock star angst love story but Michelle Pace and Tammy Coons took Fury to another level. So yes, there is that whole love thing going on; let's face it we want HOT, SEXINESS with our rock boys. However, Michelle and Tammy added an element to the story that was unexpected and daunting- frightening. I loved the suspense of it all. The story had great fluidity from one situation to another. The timeline of the story made sense and did not have huge gaps where you were left to assume or fill in the blanks. There were also no breaks or disconnects that indicated this was a co-authored book. Pace and Coons meshed their styles extremely well.
There were lots of characters but it did not get confusing amongst the story lines nor was it distracting. The dynamics between the different characters moves through the entire emotional spectrum. I enjoyed the balance of emotions-- humour, love, sadness, anger, need, and so many more. The female characters in this book were not always pushover doormats. They had their moments but they were feisty, independent and cheeky. They were real. Something that often gets overlooked, or maybe not is the physical attributes of characters. Fury mixed it up and didn't have only your stereotypical hotties. There were traits that would appeal to a wide variety of tastes. I loved that about this book.
The British slang was cheeky and bang on.
And let's not forget about the cover-- HOT!!!!!!!
This was a fun and fabulous read. A for sure read!! Eagerly hoping there is another tour for Fury in a second instalment!!

Indifferent, but definitely entertained...

It was good, it was hot, but once it grabbed me it didn't quite know what to do with me! That makes no sense, right? I think that's because my mind's a little all over the place with this one.

I loved the originality of the plot, but I wasn't in love with the execution; it was a slow starter, but it totally ended up pulling me in. Once I was there, it teased me a little, had me yearning with anticipation and then it didn't...it didn't finish me off. I'm not saying the "naughty" didn't finish me off; that department did its job just fine. I'm talking more about the ending. The story unfolded in a dramatic way where you know it's coming; you're waiting for "the big" to happen. It all ends up coming to a head, but with all that anticipation it wrapped up a little to quick and was for lack of a better (or dirtier) word, anticlimactic. Even the relationship drama ended a little hurried. Everything wrapped up nicely and how I wanted, but I never got that big boom.

However, I really enjoyed the multiple storlylines, really. At first I didn't like the jumping around, but it totally won me over. Who doesn't love getting up close and personal to a sexy rock star? Try five!!

Let me be clear. This was NOT a bad book. I enjoyed reading it, but nothing really just stood out for me to rave about. Oh shit! I'm starting to rhyme! Definitely time to wrap this up. If you are a lover of rock star romances then I definitely think you'll like this book. It was original and hot. It takes some getting use to, but the pace quickens and so does your interest as the story unfolds.

READ ON!

Fury is not your typical rockstar story. It still had love, sex, drugs, scandal, and a Goddess, but then it had an element of mystery to keep you guessing the whole way through. It took me a while to really get into the story, but about halfway in, I was captured. The only real issue I had was not being able to connect with all of the characters, there were almost 10 personalities to get into, and I didn't feel some of them.

Cheyenne is a journalist and Steph is a photographer. They are best friends, roomates, and the A-Team at work. They have a huge opportunity to follow the huge band, Fury, through their European tour. Nobody has ever had access to them before now. What kind of guys will the be? There was a lot going, we get to see everything. I really enjoy when there is more to a story than just love. There was a murder to solve, a mysterious assistant, booty betting and a whole lot of schmexiness.

I am looking forward to the second Fury, I feel there was more story to tell. I would love more of a character development for Steph and Phillip, we didn't get enough of them in this novel, and they were my favorites. I love the snarkiness and broody mixed together. I recommend this book. You can see the potential for future stories.
