Jet tries to settle down with her daughter where no one can find them but the Russian Mob tries to kill her. With the help of Allan, her dead husband’s brother who is also a Mossad agent, she hides Hannah and then goes after the mob who tried to kill her. The story also takes a side step into the Middle East and its varied problems.

The book is well written, fast paced and action packed. I enjoy the fact that Blake provides the name and details of the various weapons used. The suspense kept me on the edge of my chair. The ending is a cliff hanger so I cannot wait to read the next book. If you are thinking of reading this series be aware it must be read in order.

Braden Wright does a good job narrating the book. Wright is an actor, writer and audiobook narrator.

I've been hooked on Jet since the first scene of book one and Blake has once again produced a fantastic tale of intrigue with healthy doses of action thrown in. I can't wait for the next instalment but thankfully I have a few more of his books to tide me over.

Jet has begun her greatest adventure yet...motherhood! Reunited with her 3 year old daughter Hannah, she's settled in Uruguay for a peaceful life.

But when you're an ex-Mossad agent, some enemies you make don't just go away. They search for you and they won't stop till you're destroyed. So what do you do? You hunt them down and strike first.

Protecting Hannah and fighting bad guys obviously complicates matters, as she discovers in her first reintroduction to the world of cloaks and daggers and bullets, so Jet must first stow her child in a secret and safe location. Then she uses the stockpiles of supplies and guns, and banked diamonds and cash from her last adventure with Matt, and heads off on her mission to end the threat to herself and her kid forever. Her helper this time is a surprising resurfaced friend from the past. As every guy she's gotten close with has died before, she tries again here, with nothing more than a couple kisses and thoughts of a future.

Those Grigenkos, though. Seriously, where's the end of these guys? A young, filthy rich, martial-arts trained Russian thug with involvement in everything illegal and practically unlimited resources vs. a Mossad techie and Jet-with-a-vengeance. Sets up a very tense confrontation and an epic hand-to-hand combat.

Like all Jet books I've read so far, there's research, runaround, and a set-up to a climactic battle scene, but also enough mystery to promise more to the story.

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the previous two, I found the narrative too fragmented and not enough of the story concentrated on Jet.
The book started well with Jet and Hannah trying to be a ‘normal’ family in Uruguay when they are attacked. This first big fight was exciting, but after that the story was fairly boring with just a few minor incidents until a very disappointing ending.
I found the whole conspiracy with the US ‘suits’ a bit improbable and very tedious. I also wonder why this fiercely strong willed, independent woman has latched onto yet another man, this is the third in the space of a few months.
Finally I am extremely annoyed with the ‘cliff hanger’ ending.

This one frustrated me a bit. The plot was pretty simple, contrived, and expected. I like my heroes to also have a human aspect and Jet is a super hero that can survive anything without much trouble. Her final showdown with the villain was anticlimactic and I felt her choices were not what you'd expect from a female super spy. Did she really put her weapon down to fist fight because he called her chicken? I'm also starting to get tired of a different love affair every book. You'd think someone who lives this type of life and experienced the abuse she did as a child would be a little more guarded when it comes to men. All in all I won't give up on Jet. I still devour these books but I'm worried they are losing steam and it's only book 3. The first two books she was more of a realistic character (with the exception of jeopardizing her mission to save one child in a city full of child sex slaves). Now she is becoming a bit unbelievable. Without some intense struggles and suffering and more natural mistakes I'm not sure I'll enjoy the rest of the series.

I really liked how this one opened up. Liked that Jet was settled, living a normal, or at least normal for her life. I found the dynamic between Jet and Hannah to be interesting. Jet dealt with Hannah like a mini adult or how she dealt with things going crazy when she was on a mission.

I had hoped that Jet was done with the Russian's, but they don't seem to go away. Even at the end of this one I'm not sure she is done with them. I'm on the fence with Alan and what Jet discovered about him. Part of me is glad that she has another connection in the world, but there's something about him that is off too. I really hate how this one ended, hate that Jet is making call after call and no one is picking up. That can't be good at all!

Another Great Jet Story.

I am biased when it comes to fearless kick ass women. Jet is my favourite assassin, she gets the job done. So what if the stories are a little far fetched? Isn't that why these books are called fiction? I love how these books take us on a worldwide tour, complete escapism. Just what you need when you reside in a northern town in the UK. I love Jason Bourne but I love Jet slightly more.

Jet - Vengeance Russell Blake

Just as Jet has started to feel somewhat comfortable in her new environment, trouble rears it's ugly head again. She thought she and her young daughter were finally safe, car least for a little while. A Russian mobster has ordered a bit on her . Revenge. She killed his father and his uncle as well. His financial resources and contacts are staggering. Then Jet receives help from an unlikely source. One of her former team members. He was suppose to be dead. Assassinated. Like her. Rain knows all her as secrets too. His actual name is David. And he knows everything about her daughter Hannah. Initially they form an unlikely alliance, but quickly bond. David is still a member of an extremely elite Mossad team that she specializes in "wet work." Now, they face a two pronged assignment . Her need to eliminate the Russian mobster . He agrees to help. The director of Mossad is one of the few people who know of his faked death. A new terrorist threat arises. A lethal chemical attack is eminent. The main players behind this are Americans of immense standing and power. This is an extremely fast paced action thriller as well as a believable scenario. Enjoyed immensely!!

I didn't love this one, but I didn't hate it either. Books 1-3 were sold as a trilogy, so the slight cliffhanger ending was a bit of a surprise. Some of the resolutions that we did get seemed a little too easy. The book starts with Jet reunited with her daughter Hannah and living in Uruguay. Unfortunately, the bad guys find her again, and she has to fight her way out and try to turn the tables on them. There's a mysterious character from her past who returns to help out. I liked the action and the book definitely had its moments, but overall it was just OK.

I have enjoyed all the Jet books so far but the plot is getting a bit threadbare. The writing is engaging and fun. It’s definitely a page turner but it’s getting repetitive. It’s okay of it was an action adventure movie series like the Bourne series (movie not book) or the plethora of Marvelverse movies but it does not serve well for a book series. I certainly hope Russell Blake can turn the page and give us something new to enjoy, Jet is too good a character to waste on repetitive plot lines and recycled twists.

Jet finally settles down, trying to return to a normal life. Doesn't happen. She returns to action, fighting terrorists determined to destroy.

I love this series. This one especially. It begins with Jet and her daughter. Reading about children is my favorite type of story. Yet, Jet had to protect her daughter in order to return to the field.

Continuous action makes this an exciting read. Traveling all around the globe, experiencing different cultures, and action in each place. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I'm still liking and enjoying the Jet series, but the evolution is disappointing - Jet is still amazing, but is starting to get soft - wanting a child and husband, and seeming not quite as focused and single minded as in the first book. Fine. I applaud her priorities, but find her less interesting as the series goes on. The story is a very good one - and very scary - though the savior in this case is the crook who decided not to sell the other crooks the real deal. And did she really have to kill the Russian with her bare hands... really? Not professional at all.

Amazing

Brilliant series. So far I have not been disappointed following the Jet series. It is an adrenaline fuelled action packed novel and the action parts are amazing. I can imagine watching this as a tv series. Russell Blake definitely knows how to weave the story that they all just flow together and Jet as the female Jason Bourne or even better is breathtaking. I can't wait to read the next book. Definitely a must read for fans who love action packed movies and books.

Jet Lag

Russell Blake does it again with Jet - Vengeance! There’s so much action in this book I got “Jet Lag”! Couldnt put it down and couldn’t get enough sleep! BUT... I’m not a fan of “to be continued” stuff and I was hit with a big dose of it at the end of this book. I know something big is brewing and now I have to wait until I get my hands on the next in the series! Oh well, I can take it.

Another is the Jet saga but just as believable and great action with a few touches of domesticity thrown in as she tries to not only build her relationship with her daughter but also manage other suprises which send off across the world. Like that she had to face failure and a change of plans beofre securing the object of her journey to supposed safety. Meting an old friend and brother to her baby daddy adds character to the story.......a worthy read!

This book was a library loan. The world is in danger! Jet teams up with another ‘dead’ ex-Mossad agent to battle bio-terrorism, but from whom? Is it Iran? Is it Russia? Is it the good ole USA? As usual, lots of bullets, explosives, killing, bad guys. I love the parkour scenes. Mr. Blake shares uTube links of that unbelievable sport. If you like shoot-em-up bang bang, this series is for you!

'Vengeance' was another thrilling book to a very thrilling series. Jet is thrown into more craziness as she attempt to have a 'normal' life. Fate has a different idea. Full of action, thrilling scenarios, kick-ass characters and great adventures. I can't wait to read more. A must add to your tbr list.

Another installment of the exceptionally imaginative and entertaining series with nonstop intrigue and horrific impending catastrophes which must be stopped by Jet and her cohorts. I lose track of their itineraries as they jet from exotic destinations in the American continent, Europe, Middle East and Asian locales.

Vol 3, Jet, Vol 4? Must read on

This story ended so abruptly with as much of a stir of anxious anticipation and the possibility of more danger to people in her life and she only has two. Which is possibly in danger? Make that 2...

Action filled read for entertainment and don't try to get some revelations for life. Good tale and easily able to get into the story with anticipation for the solutions to her problems.

What a start to this “Parkour” , which at First I wasn’t sure about. This was another thrilling ride with a lot of airplane travel. I had thoughts that it was as exciting but I don’t see how I can claim that after reading the whole thing. I really had a hard time with Jet letting herself get talked into a hand to hand combat though? 5

Continues the saga. The story w/the Russian was good, but Alan wasn't really my favorite sub character. Felt like a phone in compared to David.
