This book is an affirmation of what I believe God has put in my heart when it comes to marriage and relationships. I have so much thoughts about the stories in this book but I'd rather keep these thoughts to myself until God finally reveals to me the kind of life He has planned for me. As for now, I can confidently say that I am joyful, and not just happy, that I am single because I am secured in Christ's love for me. =))

My first read book in 2016 is a book about taking a single flight or soloing. Here lies the stories of single women who chose to stay single and those who are still waiting for their Life Partner. Being single does not mean being lonely. It's about how you will handle your singleness in this world full of couples.

Solo Flight
Francie Lacanilao x Grace Chong

Such a thoughtful book. An excellent reminder that we can never fully comprehend God's thoughts and plans for us, but that in all things and in all ways, He is working for our good.

So, regardless of our status in life, we should have faith that we have been placed specifically in this place, time, people group - because this is where we can have the greatest impact for the Lord.

(also a reminder that family can come in many forms - doesn't necessarily have to be a husband, be someone related to you by blood etc etc)
