Ο φωτογράφος Φύρδης Μίγδης
Ο Φύρδης Μίγδης είναι ο προσωπικός φωτογράφος του Τετράπαχου του Τέταρτου, του βασιλιά της Παμφαγίας. Ώσπου κάποια στιγμή βαριέται να φωτογραφίζει από το πρωί ως το βράδυ το βασιλιά*, την ακολουθία και την κορόνα του. Παίρνει τη φωτογραφική του μηχανή, ένα κουτί με φλας, φουσκώνει το αερόστατο του παππού του και σε λίγο αρμενίζει αμέριμνος τον ουρανό!
Φωτογραφίζει ροζ μπουμπουνητά και χρυσές ψιχάλες, κίτρινους χαρταετούς με κόκκινες ουρές, γλάρους, ήλιους, χελιδόνια και χρωματιστά μπαλόνια με τέτοιο τρόπο όμως, που προκαλεί χίλια δυο προβλήματα κάτω στη Γη**. Ο βασιλιάς Τετράπαχος ο Τέταρτος που υφίσταται τις συνέπειες των περιπετειών του Φύρδη Μίγδη είναι έξω φρενών και στέλνει δύο ελικόπτερα γεμάτα ένοπλους στρατιώτες, μυστικούς αστυνομικούς και πυροσβέστες με πολυβόλα, αεροβόλα και φλογοβόλα, για να συλλάβουν τον αναιδέστατο φωτογράφο.
Πού να ήξερε όμως τι τον περιμένει!
* Ο βασιλιάς ποτέ δεν έμενε ευχαριστημένος με τις φωτογραφίες του Φύρδη Μίγδη. Πότε παραπονιόταν ότι η κορόνα του έβγαινε κουνημένη, πότε ότι το άλογό του είχε πέντε πόδια κι άλλοτε πάλι ότι η κοιλιά του έβγαινε πολύ μεγάλη στις μεγεθύνσεις.
** Ο Φύρδης Μίγδης περνούσε μια χαρά στον ουρανό, δεν είχε παράπονο, ρουφούσε μ' ένα βιολετί καλαμάκι βροχή από τα σύννεφα, έτρωγε γαλακτομπούρεκα από γάλα του γαλαξία και ρυζόγαλο από χαλάζι, δοκίμαζε τα καπέλα που έπαιρνε ο αέρας και τα ταχυδρομικά περιστέρια τού έφερναν γραμματόσημα για τη συλλογή του.

''The three little wolves'' has reached the second place in the American best seller list for picture books, has won many distinctions (including A.L.A. notable book and A.S.L.J. Best book , and the ''Parents Choice Amazing Accomplishment Award'') and has been translated in fifteen languages.
He received his LL.B degree at Athens University in 1969 In 1972 passed the Athens Bar examinations and in the same year he was called as a barrister to the Athens Bar. In 1973 he received a B.Sc. degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Athens and the following year he received an LL.M degree in Comparative Criminal Law and Procedure from the University of London (University College) and a diploma in Shipping Law from the City of London Polytechnic. In 1977 he was made a Fellow of the Salzburg seminar in American studies and in 1979 he was awarded his Ph.D. degree in Criminology from the University of London (London School of Economics and Political Science, Law Department)

Αγαπημένος Τριβιζάς, απολαμβάνουμε κάθε βιβλίο του. Πολύ ωραία και η εικονογράφηση του!
