Ο συναχωμένος κόκορας
Ο Ερίκος είναι ένας ωραίος κόκορας με χρυσοκόκκινη ουρά και πλουμιστό λειρί. Ξυπνάει κάθε πρωί τους κατοίκους της Ντελαγκράτσια, κακαρίζοντας με έξι διαφορετικούς τρόπους. Μια μέρα όμως πέφτει μια δυνατή νεροποντή και ο Ερίκος συναχώνεται. Έχει πονοκέφαλο, ρίγη και κρυάδες και σαν να μην έφτανε αυτό βραχνιάζει και δε μπορεί να κακαρίζει δυνατά για να ξυπνάει τον κόσμο τα πρωινά, με αποτέλεσμα οι κάτοικοι της Ντελαγκράτσια να χουζουρεύουν από το πρωί ως το βράδυ και από το βράδυ ως το πρωί. Ο δήμαρχος καλεί έκτακτο δημοτικό συμβούλιο στην κρεβατοκάμαρά του και οι δημοτικοί σύμβουλοι αποφασίζουν να σώσουν τον Ερίκο και να προσλάβουν ένα νέο δυναμικό κόκορα στη θέση του. Απελπισμένος ο Ερίκος με μάτια θολά από τα δάκρυα, μαζεύει τα λιγοστά του υπάρχοντα και ετοιμάζεται να φύγει για πάντα από τη Ντελαγκράτσια. Τη στιγμή όμως που περνάει έξω από την παιδική χαρά μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη τον περιμένει.

He has produced more than a hundred books of enduring popularity, all of them currently in print, that are enjoyed as much by grown ups as by children and he has received more than twenty national and international literary prizes and awards.

''The three little wolves'' has reached the second place in the American best seller list for picture books, has won many distinctions (including A.L.A. notable book and A.S.L.J. Best book , and the ''Parents Choice Amazing Accomplishment Award'') and has been translated in fifteen languages.
He received his LL.B degree at Athens University in 1969 In 1972 passed the Athens Bar examinations and in the same year he was called as a barrister to the Athens Bar. In 1973 he received a B.Sc. degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Athens and the following year he received an LL.M degree in Comparative Criminal Law and Procedure from the University of London (University College) and a diploma in Shipping Law from the City of London Polytechnic. In 1977 he was made a Fellow of the Salzburg seminar in American studies and in 1979 he was awarded his Ph.D. degree in Criminology from the University of London (London School of Economics and Political Science, Law Department)

Είναι, ήταν και θα είναι από τα πλέον αγαπημένα μας παιδικά βιβλία! Τόσο αστείο και τόσο έξυπνο! Δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να διαβάσει ένα μικρό παιδί αυτό το βιβλίο πριν πάει για ύπνο και να μην ξεκαρδιστεί στα γέλια! Στα αρνητικά θα έβαζα μόνο την εικονογράφηση γιατί λείπουν κάποιες βασικές περιγραφές χαρακτήρων (όποιος το έχει διαβάσει θα καταλάβει τι εννοώ). Τα υπόλοιπα της σειράς δεν φτάνουν σε αξία το συγκεκριμένο.
