Good solid noirish tale!
At times Mike Zeck's art was superb and at other times it was just kinda ok.

I'm a big fan of Steven Grant and Mike Zeck, mainly because they did the first Punisher limited series for Marvel which is one of my all time favorite comic series. This reunited the team, and while not quite up to the standards of the Punisher series, it was still very good.
This noir crime series is full of twists and turns, and would make a great movie. The Zeck art is good as well.
If you like crime comics, this is definitely worth a read.

I found this graphic on a clearance shelf in some bookstore, marked down to about $2. For two bucks, I'll read just about anything, so I added this paperback to my graphic collection as well as "2Guns".
Before reading this, I don't think I've read any of Steven Grant's work before. It was fine, nothing outstanding. Decent story, pretty well fleshed out.
Mike Zeck's art was equally decent. At times, better than expected but for the most part, it wasn't great. It had an old vibe to it, the sketchy style from 90s comics before they got super detailed and bright with thin waisted females and over muscled males. Which is the style I prefer over this.
For a couple of dollars, it was worth it. Not my usual graphic read but something different for a change. I'll definitely read " 2 Guns", but unless it blows my mind, it looks like I've started a new pile of trade-in items.

Very Enjoyable. One small element of the end doesn't ring entirely right for me, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

It's nice when things work out
I loved for the feel of the art work. Classic. The story moved along smoothly and was engaging from the very beginning.

Soild crime thriller
A standard crime thriller, not orginal but still enjoyable. Not a fan of the art. Tried for realism but wasn't realistic enough.

A crime and redemption story about an ex-convict on parole and his mission to deliver a message when he gets out of jail. Good story and art, couldn't put it down.

Great book if you like The shoot em up style books and I for one do like action type comics and recommend this graphic novel.

This was another Kindle Unlimited borrow. It’s a crime novel with your standard archetypes – man fallen on hard times, femme fatale, etc., and it was so archetypical that I don’t remember a damn thing about it. I think the art was decent enough, but mostly it was forgettable.
