The villain Basilisk is back, and his nefarious plan to infiltrate Hero.com and take it offline has worked-leaving Toby, Pete, Lorna, and Emily as the only Downloaders left on the planet It's up to the four friends to stop Basilisk before his computer virus completely destroys the Hero Foundation . . . but with glitchy, short-circuiting powers and some contention among their ranks, it'll be no simple task to outwit, outpace, and outplot the evil mastermind. "Virus Attack "is an action-packed adventure, full of even more creative and exciting powers and intricately linked to the anti-series, Villian.net.

Really enjoyed the first novel and I'm reading these alternatively wth the villains.net, which I highly recommend add they carry plotlines over from each other. The story was better than the first, the characters more fleshed out and a vastly expanded universe, highly recommended
Supervillians Basilisk and The Worm have planned a major attack on the site HERO.COM. Combining their skills they will infect HERO.COM with a super-virus, the ability to lock off users from the website and find the HERO.COM HQ. When Toby, Lorna, Pete and Emily log onto the HERO.COM website they encounter the virus at the early stages, until an unknown download of Superpowers blasts them across the room, and reports the website down. The team are tasked with the ultimate task, find and terminate Basilisk and The Worm before they can breach the firewall of the Head Quarters for HERO.COM.
Virus Attack is the second book of the HERO.COM book series. Virus Attack showed me some of the unbelievable things can be created within the book. Virus Attack reintroduces the team (Toby, Lorna, Pete and Emily) who are working together, but with issues at seems. Virus Attack Is a great follow on from The Rise of the Heroes and will thrill the reader and attract their spare time. -Ben
In this episode, Basilisk is back. His plan is to attack the heroes by immobilizing their website, destroying their powers, and hopefully killing Commander Courage.
Will he succeed? Or will the heroes by able to defeat Basilisk's evil plan?
By sending a virus to the server at Hero.com, the Downloaders will be unable to be heroes. The virus leaves Toby, Pete, Lorna, and Emily as the last Downloaders on the planet. With every other hero in hiding and with failing powers, our heroes might not stand a chance.
This book is filled with comic book action on every page and is fast-paced. VIRUS ATTACK is a perfect book for those who are reluctant readers and/or like Manga and graphic novels, action-adventure, and fantasy.
Danger for the hero foundation! Basilisk is back with three of the most deadly super villains . Only four young heroes can save the hero foundation. There names are Toby, Pete , lorna and Emily ... I rated this book five star because ..well...it's exciting , its on the edge and its dangerous. I liked it when the humans beat up basilisk and co. on the aircraft!
Initially I was very disappointed that this didn't start where Rise of the Heroes left off. After the cliffhanger about Toby and Lorna's Father's plane about to crash I was intrigued to see how Toby and Lorna coped with this, but this was only briefly mentioned later in the novel.
After enjoying villain.net and the first hero.com book I found this underwhelming and boring.
I think this book was better than the last book. It had more surprises than the last book, which made it more exiting. I still don't know why it took me a whole WEEK to read though, I usually read, like, really fast.
