The recipes were rather bland and uninspiring, and the ethnic-inspired recipes were far from authentic. While billed as a kids'/family cookbook, there isn't much that young children could help with. In addition, I found the organization of recipes to be a bit confusing. While some sections made sense, other groupings were quite random, such as their weekend cooking section and separate sections for dessert and baking though the majority of the recipes in both sections seemed like desserts to me. We are certainly glad that we only borrowed it from the library. It would have been a complete waste of money to actually buy a copy.

best book ive come across for kids meals and snacks. recipes are so yum that we enjoy them as a family rather than make just for us...but then the book is tailored that way. no random ingredients impossible to find at supermarket. easy and quick to make for novices like me! loved it and hope they do a follow up book
