This book brought me into it's own world , from the introduction. The style of writing is eloquent and gripping at the same time. Growing up in a neighboring City brings a familiarity to it all. It becomes REAL. From the moment I picked it up, I did not want to put it down . I absolutely loved it. Following a girls journey through growing up in Salem, Mass in the 60's, is magic in it's own right. Salem is my most favorite place in the world . I lived there until age five years old and my children were born there. I cannot wait until Debra Highberger writes her next book. For now, my " signed" copy sits in a special place in my home!

I enjoyed the read and following the main character through her lifelong journey. I appreciated that a good portion of the setting was in my hometown of Salem, MA so,I could relate very well.
