Well done. Sounded authentic to me, especially with the medical insight. The man is a doctor. Why would he risk his reputation for money from a book when he likely has plenty of cash already. Very interesting, insightful.
A man of science - a doctor - has a near-death experience and learns God is real. Some parts were too science-y for me so I just glossed over those. He used to dismiss his patients who claimed to have NDE. Now, he is a believer.
Yesterday, while reading this book by the ocean, a passer-by asked how I liked it. What could I say? "Uh, it's interesting." I wasn't yet sure whether I believed the author. Mainly I was curious. I hadn't sought out the book. It had been given to me. I *was* interested in that it seemed to confirm my perception of reality, the "Universe." She went on to say something like she wanted to believe it, but suspected the author had written it for money. And her words stayed with me through the rest of the book.
We must be skeptical, but we must also take leaps of faith. It is our responsibility to think and question and form a basis for the paths we choose to take in our lives. I choose to believe that this is an authentic account. Your turn.
I have read stories about Near Death Experiences but was never quite sure they were true. This account was truly amazing, Heaven must be a wonderful place.
