[Siren Allure Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, vampires, public exhibition, HEA] Recently deceased and reborn as a vampire, Adam Galindo is trying to accept his new way of life while keeping the streets of Zaragoza, Spain, safe from a bunch of bloodsucking Romanian illegal immigrants known as the Romani. Thankfully, Emerico Espiritu, an eight-hundred-year-old vampire, who happens to be his lover, is all too willing to help. After discovering that his long-deceased lover, Aznar Galindez, was reincarnated as Adam Galindo, Emerico began to mend his broken heart with a little help from Adam. Unfortunately, Adam was impaled and near death but thankfully drank from Emerico’s veins, choosing to be reborn as a vampire. That was the easy part. Now Emerico has to show Adam the ropes on what being a vampire really means. Between learning to kill for sustenance and outrunning ravenous Romanians hell-bent on destruction, Adam and Emerico just want to have a little fun along the way. Is that too much to ask? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Alex Carreras believes there is nothing sexier than a hot, naked man with a cocky attitude and a sultry smile. Always on the hunt for inspiration, you will find Alex wherever there are attractive men, hopefully in a state of undress. And since he lives in South Florida where the average yearly temperature is a balmy 82 Fahrenheit, there is certainly no shortage of inspiration.
Although the first book will always hold a place in my heart I was instantly pulled back into the world of the Fraternidad. The book opens with instant hot sex pushing Adam and Emerico's relationship even closer together. But their blissful world is instantly disrupted as Constantin is trying to take over the city and interfere with the Fraternidad's ideas of peace.
Adam is still fumbling through learning to be a new vampire when the action begins. Still not fully transformed he finds himself learning the sacrifice that comes with being a vampire…blood.
Alex Carreras' writing is detailed and fast-paced but I would have loved to see more of the emotional pull and connection Emerico and Adam had in book one. This story is definitely filled with action and suspense. I was grateful to find out that Adam is happy being a vampire and doesn't blame Emerico for the decision. I also loved Jose Galindo, Adam's cousin, and his struggle with being the only human amongst vampires. I'm very excited to see that Jose gets his own book!
If you enjoyed the first book or you love to read hot vampires fighting for their city than sink your teeth into Adam Resurrected!
What is better than male vampires? Two, male vampires.. Book 2 is the continuing story of The Count of Aragon. From the first page I was transplanted into the dark nights of Spain. Adam is in the process of learning the ropes as a new vampire. Fortunately for Adam his lover is an 800 year old Vampire named Emerico. His love for his newly turned vampire and teaching him the ways of drinking aren't too much for this man neither are learning the ways of protecting the city from the real evil that threatens its humans. As always Alex leaves me spell bound and feeling quite a bit naughty in reading the man-love collection. I recommend the series.
