How does one change an alpha male into a submissive slave? Very carefully with a little help using CBT. CBT - ah, one of my favourite things when it comes to femdom. Ms. Stonor does another bang up job with a strong male submitting to a woman. The women in Ms. Stonor's stories aren't cruel either. Still, this is BDSM fantasy despite the contemporary setting. For those who want to use this as a guide to BDSM, go buy a non-fiction BDSM book. While this book does utilize some real BDSM devices, I wouldn't recommend using them without instruction.

Ryan Crichten is a covert operative for British intelligence. Unbeknownst to him, he is going to become intimate with the American agent he burned. Jenna Tayler is a FBI agent who needs to learn quickly how to be a convincing Domme to break Ryan into submission. It's break, because there is nothing consensual about it. The breaking of Ryan is HOT! Some of my favourite BDSM fetishes are featured in this story. Yes, pegging did make an appearance and I jumped up in glee!

The story flowed pretty well and moved at a decent pace. I devoured the book when I first beta read it. When Ms. Stonor revised it and sent me the published copy, I enjoyed the book more. The added humiliation scenes and violation were a treat. What is surprising is the romance part of the book. The romance is sweet and I ended up liking Ryan. Then again, it could be that Ryan brings out my Domme side and I'd love to dominate him. It would be divine. This femdom novella is recommended to kinky readers who want a believable submissive alpha male.

*I recieved a copy of Locked In Torture in exchange for a honest review.

Would it be weird if I said I've wanted to read a romance novel that involved "femdom"? I hope not because its the truth. There are so many books out there with the man being the dominator and he balks when his heroine hints at taking charge. I wanted to read a story where she is in the dominate position. Author Kayla Stonor was able to weave a convincing BDSM/femdom storyline with a hint of suspense and a HEA.

In the story, we meet Jenna (FBI agent) and Ryan (Z-9 with British Intelligence). They have a previous meeting that takes place roughly 4 months before the book starts where her cover is blown and Ryan gets her sent home. To enact revenge, Jenna contacts her old school friend and whisks Ryan away to a pleasure island, of sorts, where she asserts her dominance over him. Seems like a simple enough plot, right? Nope! Ms. Stonor reveals the truth behind Jenna's actions and it steers the plot to a different direction.

I have to admit that the book and I got off to a rough start at the beginning. I tried to start it one night and it just was not happening. I think I missed something in the first chapter and nothing was clicking. So I set it aside and gave the book another shot a couple days later and I could not put it down. I didn't read the first 2 books in the series, so I don't know how this one compares, but I really liked the story. It had a strong, fast pacing plot. The femdom aspect was a bit painful to read (poor Ryan), but I was relieved when Jenna had a difficult time inflicting pain to him. Read the book and you know why she had to do what she did. My only regret with Locked In Torture is that I wished Jenna and Ryan had sex. Wow, did that sound weird or what? Yes, there is penetration, but there was no emotion. I would have loved to have seen Jenna and Ryan come together (no pun intended) emotionally.

4.5 bitter sweet painful stars

This story kept me engaged from start to finish. I read the first edition in 2014 [Locked in Torture] and didn't bother posting a review due to the issue "I" had with the plot! Honestly, I can't remember entirely what those were now.

Whether the fact I enjoyed this edition so much more was due to the changes made, or how much my reading preferences have altered over the last two years, I'm unsure. And at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter.

The story of Jenna and Ryan had many things I love in a great story! Believe you me, its not a light read, but it is a nail biting, edge of the seat riveting story! I was routing for the main characters all the way. The epilogue left me with a huge smile on my face!

Contains non-con and dubious consent.

Book exchanged for a honest review

This third book in the Surrender Series leaves the other two books in the series in the dust. Ms. Stonor has proven once again that she knows her stuff when it comes to getting alpha males to surrender themselves to their female counterpart. I'm blown away by this author's courage to write these books and glad to have read them. Here are my thoughts:

Ryan Crichten is a special agent with a Z-rating and doesn't like his missions compromised by brassy American agent Jenna Tayler. He ransacks her career and now she wants revenge in the highest order. Jenna is upset that her job may be no more but an old high school friend able to introduce Jenna to the means for getting revenge. Ryan is kidnapped and without his clothes but never expects to find Jenna holding the keys to his torment. Jenna has become Ryan's torturer yet it leaves a bitter taste in her mouth at times. Jenna subjects Ryan to all kinds of torture that wasn't apart of his training as an agent. Jenna must never forget she has a mission to complete and Ryan is the key to making it a success or failure. Ryan is beginning to suspect that not all as it seems when it comes to Jenna and their surroundings. Will Jenna survive torturing Ryan? What will Ryan feel about his torture at Jenna's hands? Can Jenna complete the mission? How will Ryan feel after it's all over? Your answers await you in Locked in Torture.

I will definitely continue reading this series by Ms. Stonor. I have no doubts that the next book will equally interest me as the other did. Ms. Stonor has become a new favorite author of mine.

Another great FemDom in the erotica sub genre of capture/slave/torture erotica. I tend to class these outside of BDSM and inside the general erotica. Strong characters drive a strong plot. I don't want to put spoilers in - but this FBI and Special Agent slant was different than the other two books in the series. This has a more discipline feel for a relationship due to the motivations but the scenes are not quite as extreme as those in Under By Treaty. It always sounds weird for me to say I really liked it but I did. The prostrate milking was interesting as was the CBT. Neither of these is something I've read a lot about so it was interesting to discover more about those! I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series!

Truth be told, I didn't intend to read Under By Vengeance, but I found myself suffering from a serious case of Qui pheromone withdrawal & needed a quick Kayla Stonor fix;-)

Pulling off a believable captive male / vengeful mistress story on Earth is harder than a story set in an alternate reality or in outer space. Writing one about two undercover agents trying to expose a slavery ring is harder still...

... especially a plausible story where the man, a tough-as-nails/alpha to the core operative, is dragged blindly into the operation as her captive sex slave to make their cover appear more convincing.

This is for ballsy readers only, because yes; the training focuses on just that particular part of the male anatomy... a lot. (Ouchies!) Let me give you a hint of what to expect:

Word of warning: This book deals with bdsm themes that are far from safe, sane and consensual but it does have a satisfying HEA. You are hereby warned.

Can I PLEASE have a new Qui novel soon???

"So there is a pot of gold at the end of this sexual torture?"

I was delightfully gripped by this fast paced spy drama that is an erotic suspense thriller with interesting protagonists and some psychological drama that knowingly violates the safe, sane, consensual tenants of BDSM.

Ryan Crichten works for British Intelligence and doesn't suffer fools gladly he therefore feels no option other than to remove Jenna Taylor an FBI agent from his team effectively ending her career. What he doesn't realise is that Jenna has carefully orchestrated the situation so that she can set in motion a sting operation. Kabas is a secrative organisation that operates sex slave rings, and provides enforced submission for the straying partners of exceptionally wealthy women.

To infiltrate Kabas Jenna needs to play the part of a wronged woman seeking vengeance and Ryan is the perfect target of her wrath. Genna knows that this is a life and death mission and she needs to be convincing in her ability to dominate and 'break' Ryan into submission.

Jenna is conflicted, she knows Ryan's life hangs in the balance, those that do not submit do not survive but she does not want to inflict permanent psychological damage. If the mission has any chance of success, high flying alpha Ryan must accept his role as her sexual submissive and not through consensual agreement.

I was gripped as these two engaged in a battle of wills with danger lurking in every corner. I was never quite sure what might happen next.

I am pretty certain that the story is very much within the realms of fantasy BDSM and it could be argued that this is more accurately torture porn since there is a great deal of CBT and chastity play for Ryan to endure, however it is also full of thought for consequences and an underlying attraction which brings warmth and integrity to the story. Sparks fly between Ryan and Jenna as they negotiate a total power exchange.

Whilst this is clearly not for the faint hearted amongst us, it is an edgy romance and the epilogue provides a welcome snapshot into life months down the road.

This was my first time reading anything from Kayla Stonor and she did not disappoint!

Jenna is an American agent on assignment in London, working with Agent Ryan, who is a member of SI7--British Secret Service. They have a history of work interactions that has shaped their relationship--she thinks that he views her as an inept agent, and he believes she is a danger to herself. Both are attracted to each other, and neither is willing to admit it.

After Jenna "ruins" a mission, she is sent deep undercover trying to take down an organization that not only is accused of trafficking women, but also helping rich women turn their husbands into submissives--unwillingly. Her job is to pose as a domme out for revenge against the man that ruined her career--Agent Ryan. The only thing is that Agent Ryan has no idea Jenna is on a mission, or that he is either.

Very intense read full of action, suspense, and steamy scenes between the two main character. This book is unlike any of the other BDSM books I've read before, but it was still very interesting. Loved the chemistry between the two main characters and the plot is great. You won't be disappointed and now I need to go back and read the first couple books in the series!

Intriguing Plot With Heart-pounding Suspense

Jenna Taylor is an American CIA operative tasked with a mission that would bring her deep undercover. Jenna’s cover as a dominatrix frequenting BDSM clubs across two continents gives her the training, plus it creates a lure for factions that target federal agents who have those vices ripe target for manipulation. With a perfect cover she can establish a motive for getting into Kabas, a criminal organization who uses weak-minded women hell bent on revenge to help control and use forced submission with their men. Only with Ryan Crichten, a British S17 agent, can this difficult mission be a success.

Ryan signed up for the elite force tasked with missions that demand a level of lethal and deadly expertise. Jenna’s ruse portraying herself as a bumbling and incompetent agent breaks Ryan’s patience, pressuring his superiors to dismiss her from duty. Now that her career is ruined, it’s Jenna’s job to convince the Kabas she’s out for blood and revenge. Jenna’s relying on Ryan’s true nature and gut responses as persuasive evidence she’s in it for vengeance. Because Ryan’s life depends on Jenna’s ability to successfully dominate him by using enforced submission. The difficult part is maintaining her cover since Ryan doesn’t know he’s part of the operation and it’s his best protection from getting killed.

Under By Vengeance was a total surprise and a book that was hard to put down. From the start, I was mesmerized by the gripping dilemma around our two main characters, what they endured and the intensity of emotions that ran high throughout the story. Kabas used tools and terms used in BDSM but went against everything Jenna had trained for as a domme. Safe, sane and consensual doesn’t appear anywhere Kabas is concerned. I was absolutely thrilled about the ending, and Jenna and Ryan were great together. This riveting story is the perfect blend of kink, steaminess, intrigue, romance and non-stop action. Beware there are some very intense moments with Ryan’s abduction and torture. But, there’s also pleasure. With that said, it made this story all the more believable. Ms. Stonor’s writing style is flawless, includes perfect pacing and full descriptions which made for an enjoyable and entertaining read. I loved it and it’s a must read for those that love romance with elements of kink. Great job, Ms. Stonor.

I received this book in exchange for an hones review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

This is an amazing, awesome, fantastic book. I was addicted the moment I started the book and if it wasn't for having to go to work, I would not have torn myself away from this book. It is/was addicting to read.

Ryan is a by the book so no one gets hurt kind of a special undercover agent. But he seems to get paired up with a woman that is so polar opposite. He turned away from her advances during a seminar he was giving, and yet she still intrigues him. Not to mention she blows their latest cover.....he just can't seem to put it together, so he figures her to be not ready/right for this line of work. He talks to his supervisor and it spells trouble for Jenna.

Jenna is trying to save Ryan's life, although the fact he has no interest in her romantically doesn't help her feelings for him. He is a target and she needs to be much more aggressive with him. She gets pulled into her supervisor's office and told that her "Crazy act" is working and it has to go deeper. There is someone that wants Ryan gone for good and she is the only one who can step up the Domme Crazy Psycho woman act and play it off as she is simply seeking revenge for him getting her "fired"

Things get heated, her true feelings come to surface. Ryan is no dumb guy that will just sit back and accept what her little plan is. She "purchases" him and tortures, and humiliates him. But he wises up and starts to see Jenna is not that cold hearted. He warms up to her in more than one way, and she is not so cold hearted as she tries to come across for this assignment...she cracks.

Does Jenna tell Ryan what her assignment is or does she string him along and enjoy his humiliation? Doe Ryan actually go along with this or does he fight her every step of the way? What is it that she has up her sleeve? What does he think he can do to change her mind? Do they get a happy ending or is it too far past that point after their assignment? These are all awesomely answered in this book. I am hooked. I am tempted to re-read it because it was that good.

This is the first book by Kayla Stonor that I have ready and I am already a big fan. This book was a smoking hot read.
Jenna, a CIA Agent, is on an undercover mission in London to takedown an international human trafficking ring and in order for this to work she needs the help of Ryan, an SI7 agent, only he doesn't know it.

Theres a saying, "There's a fine line between love and hate" that Jenna and Ryan are proof of. After their first meeting Ryan is convinced that Jenna hates him and when he has her pulled off of an assignment she doesn't understand why Ryan hates her so much. Their dislike for one another is obvious so when Ryan is kidnapped by Jenna's henchmen he believes that she has finally lost her ever loving' mind. Oh if he only knew.....

Putting a major trafficking ring out of commission is the goal but who says you can't have a little fun while shutting down the bad guy. This is the first book that I have read with CBT and I have to say...I loved it!

This is the third book in the series and the first one I have read. I have ever intention to go back and read the first two books in the series, but it wasn't necessary to read them before this one this book can be read as a standalone.

After the wild, emotional ride of Kayla Stoner's first two books I was really looking forward to reading- Locked In Torture. Unfortunately, I found this one disappointing.

The idea of how Jenna and Ryan ended up in a non-con situation didn't really work for me. I would have enjoyed it more if Jenna had really been out for revenge because her constant self doubt and second guessing regarding her treatment of Ryan was annoying.

I was shocked when Jenna's secret was revealed so early in the story -I never felt like Ryan ever had to truly give in to her and accept her power over him. In fact, I felt like Ryan had the power because he was submitting willingly to help keep her secret. Unlike a previous reviewers opinion I thought this had more BDSM elements than non-con.

I understand that the author was wanting to keep a balance here-Jenna had to remain likable to the reader and Ryan had to remain strong so that romance could bloom - I guess I was hoping for an edgier story.

This particular tale may not have appealed to me but I still am very much looking forward to Ms. Stoner's next femdom book.

I was gifted a copy of 'Under By Vengeance' from Kayla Stonor, in exchange for an honest review.

Having read Kayla Stonor's "Qui Treaty Collection" I was pretty excited to read 'Under by Vengeance' which has absolutely nothing to do with her alien alpha's. 'Under by Vengeance' is book 3 in Kyla's "Surrender Collection" which can be read as a stand-alone, as none of the books interract in any way. I'm not really sure how Kayla does it... OH.... MY..... GOODNESS....... WOW, what a story this is... it's dark, steamy, suspense filled, EXACTLY what I've come to expect from Kayla. I'm not sure just HOW Kayla comes up with these wickedly delicious storylines, but I FLOVED it!!

Jenna is deep undercover, trying to take down an international trafficking ring, her way even deeper inside is for Jenna to blow her cover on a job & losing her job. Ryan can't understand why Jenna would blow her cover on an assignment, putting in the report that has Jenna losing her job, puts Ryan's life under threat. Moving to a new safe house, Ryan is kidnapped & soon finds himself under Jenna's conrtol on a remote island...

I received this as a review copy from the author as a newly reworked and released book, and while I will always accept and read something offered as a review copy by the author, I was unsure at first if I was going to be able to enjoy it. Let me be clear, while I had initial doubts, just because of the subgenre, and the authors own thoughts (revealed in an email, not to me personally... I'm not that cool) that it was "too dark"....... I really enjoyed this book.

For the sake of honesty, I usually really dislike BDSM fiction, because it's often not written in a way that conforms to the "safe, sane, consensual" mantra. This book is very upfront about the fact that it's a forced submission storyline, so I was prepared for the lack of complete consent. Did it follow every single thing someone who is involved in the lifestyle would have expected in reality? No, probably not. I tend to take fiction with a grain of salt on that. It's fiction, afterall, not a manual on how to engage in a relationship with those themes.

Now that all of THAT is out of the way... let's get into what the book WAS about, and what I liked (and didn't like) about it.

Pro: It has a plot. I have no issue with books who's purpose is more akin to outright porn, but me, personally - I love a plot. It seems complicated laid out like that, but it's a fast paced story with a lot of psychological intrigue. I'm doubtful it would happen in real life, but as far as fiction goes, it's a solid plot that remains interesting throughout.

Pro: It's not a thinly veiled excuse for consecutive sex scenes. No shame if that's what you want, I've read plenty of books like that and even liked some of them, but I much prefer this method. Was there sex? Yes. At times was it graphic? Yes. The difference here is that it was all in line with the story, and not "just because". The places where it occurred added to the story and weren't just filler to keep the readers interested - the story itself was plenty interesting enough once it got into it's stride (and that didn't take too long).

Pro: Good Characters. I have a thing for compelling characters. Jenna was not a natural Domme. She got into it, from what I understood from the beginning of this book (I haven't read the preceding two) for her job, as a cover and a way of vetting clubs as clean of illegal activities. If you're looking for a super hard ass Domme story, this might have enough of that for you, but probably not, that's really not the focus. There's a scene I really appreciated, near the beginning, where Jenna is discussing (and agonizing) with an agency psychologist over how uncomfortable she is with the whole mission, and how it violates the safe, sane, consensual tenants of BDSM that she's learned in her previous undercover work. Ryan is a chest thumping Alpha male...

So, I really do mostly have pro's for this one. Any cons I mentioned in relation to those pros above, so I don't feel like they need to be re-hashed. The story focuses mostly on the psychological torture and "brainwashing" techniques used to essentially turn a hostage into a loyal partner. There is some physical torture, and at least two scenes of rape as well, so if these are triggers for you, you're going to want to keep clear of this book.

The email I got saying that the book was available for review copies had the author talking about her uncertainty about it, and how much darker it was than her others... possibly too dark. I have to disagree. Yes, it was dark, and parts of it were definitely difficult or uncomfortable to read, but it wasn't over the top. It wasn't torture and abuse for the sake of being shocking or avant garde, but rather in the course of the telling of a story that couldn't be as viscerally told without them. I think she did a great job of it, honestly, and will in all likelihood seek out more books by her in the future.

Spectacular, edgy spy story with dark, sexy aspects!!

This story comes with accurate warnings; dark and edgy, hot and wicked, punishing and uplifting with BDSM themes.

This is first a spy story. Jenna Tayler must infiltrate the Kabas operation to take down an international trafficking ring. To do so she purposefully ruins an operation and seemingly her career receiving the wrath of British agent Ryan Crichten. These two feel an attraction toward each other, but Ryan does not mix business with pleasure.

To achieve her goal, Jenna must NOT let Ryan know the mission. He must think she is only out for retribution for his reactions to be believable. There is no failure in this program – those who do not submit are killed. Most who enter are straying husbands whose wives want to teach them a lesson. Jenna treads a thin line of staying in character, yet truly being concerned for her captive.

The dynamics between these two is intense! Both trained spies, both attracted to the other, placed under a microscope where all is laid bare, and a mis-step means death. My first story from Kaylor Stonor, but definitely not my last!

I received a an ARC of this book for an honest review from the author.

Trained operative Jenna is asked to infiltrate the Kabas organisation as information has been revealed they deal in sex trafficking, however this means she needs a partner. An unwilling one. without his knowledge Ryan has been selected and will endure torture like never before.

The plot in the book was well thought out, the sex scenes torturous enough for the situation they found themselves in, reactions as you would expect. The time on the island is filled with no SSC elements of BDSM, it is harsh and non consenting. I would advise readers to heed the author's warnings when purchasing and reading and writing a review.

I found that once i gave the book my full attention, as i had a slow start it pulled me in and kept my attention to the end. Once again the author has done a good job in writing a novel for the genre that she writes under and while some may find it not to their taste, I liked it and would definitely read the others in this collection.

Oh and as always there is a HEA waiting.

Jenna is a CIA agent and is deep undercover and trying to infiltrate Kabas, they sell rich women the opportunity to get revenge on men by having them kidnapped and forced into submission. Ryan is an agent in the British S17 and on an elite task force and when Jenna walks into his world seeming to be incompetent he has her removed from his team, the perfect opportunity to seek revenge. Ryan on the other had doesn’t know he is on a mission for his own protection will they bring down Kabas? This is a fast paced read with lots of drama and suspense, this read is not for everyone as it is dark, the characters are amazing and the story is captivating, I was hooked from beginning to end. Great Read!

This was a first for me and a lot more intense than I am used to. This story includes what I consider extreme BDSM with a male submissive and I have to admit there were places I had to walk away from and skip over to be able to finish the story. The things people will do, enjoy doing or need to do to obtain sexual pleasure are vast and in this book for their job had me cringing. The story that surrounds this is strong and well written. The main characters handle their rolls well with in interesting ending. I applaud Ms Stonor for diving into this world and providing a great story to explore it.

I liked the strong submissive man, it was kind of hot. I didn't think I was going to enjoy a series with the alpha male as a submissive, but I did. The situation in this book is a little twisted , I don't mind twisted context.
It started as a non-concent , but I liked that the guy ultimately gave control willingly to the female.

This was the first read in my "why don't men read more erotica or romance?" curiosity project, and I won it as part of a Goodreads competition. I can't say that I "liked" it, but I also didn't "not like" it. Non-consensual F/m naughtiness nearly the whole time, with bumpers of "meh" story elements. Eye-rolling and smiley at moments, I'd read more from Stonor, but I'm not in any rush to do so.

The writer has given a good synopsis in her preface about the key elements of this story. Ryan is an agent in the British S17. Jenna called to him, yet every interaction with her left him disappointed and unsettled; she scared him, distracted him, commanded his attention and aroused his protective instincts. A Code 9 is issued against Ryan, but when he moves to a new safe house he is kidnapped and taken to an Island. Jenna feels that Ryan has judged her from the offset. He has no idea how hard she had worked to set up this connection; a rare opportunity to get inside Kabas’ operation. Jenna knew the plan and has agreed to the operation; it has all but destroyed her personal life, but the reality of her actions leaves her sick to her stomach. Jenna is a corrupt US intelligence agent with an axe to grind and Ryan is the unwitting target of her fury. He is the tracer, a victim to break and the only ticket to infiltrating the Kabas. Ryan has to believe she has gone rogue, that he is dealing with a psychotic, obsessive woman. The organisation excels in breaking powerful men and Kabas will suspect anything other than Ryan’s natural response to her submission conditioning. She plays a dangerous game against an agent who can out-match her in every way, to penetrate an organisation that kills without hesitation. If Ryan cannot be broken under the strain of the Kabas’ enslavement training, Jenna would have to seduce him into a willing submissive. Jenna hates herself for what she is doing to Ryan and wonders how this will affect him once the operation is over – little does she know!!. I enjoyed reading this book; it has a lot of depth to it and the storyline is gripping. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

DNF, life's too short. I had my hopes up, but dear me, once again this isn't BDSM, it's tortureporn instead. There's not a shred of SSC in this, and on top of that the author seems to misunderstand a few essential facts about chastity and chastity play. As a result most of this was painful to read.

Also, while I appreciate a female Top having self-doubts, I don't need things to go to the extent of her not being a Top at all. The premise is misleading readers wanting femdom.

Too bad.

I'm still taking recs for good Female Top stories, as in

- no prostitutes
- no trainées and switches
- SSC or RACK
- recognisable BDSM play

I started reading at lunch got finished by dinner. i couldn't put it down. i enjoyed the depth of the characters, the story line and sex. this is not the run of the mill erotica story if thats what you're looking for. the sex was part of the storyline not the other way around. i won't lie there were moments where i cringed with sympathy that only means the author did her job.
i enjoyed this story and reccomend it. now I'm going to check out her other stories.

I liked the story, but found the BDSM distracting. The interaction between the two protagonists was so riveting that the BDSM became irrelevant.Jenna and Ryan are both strong characters who are inclined to think that they know best. On the island they have to depend on each other, and find that that attraction that they have for each other, since their first meeting at a workshop in the USA, helps to protect each other under perilous circumstances. I also liked that the writing was well paced and in spite of their perilous circumstances, there was no gratuitous violence. Definitely recommended.

It was a good story and kept your attention. A little too much hard core torture for me. I don't mind BDSM but am more into the male on the female. It seemed she had no limits and I couldn't get past the hardcore cruelty on his privates. And being locked in a coffin gives me nightmares. Other wise it was well written. And something that if you are into it like this you will like it a lot. It is up to each individual what they like. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What can you do with a man who thinks because you're the wrong sex that you don't belong there? Well a little vengeance goes a long way. There is just one problem, in order to keep you both alive and finish what you started you need to become something you're not. Can she make it work ad keep them both alive or will it all far apart around her?
I really enjoyed this book. The adventure, the danger and the intrigue on just how fast things would fall apart or come together.

Wow! Normally the Domme stories are not to my liking, however, with a couple hundred pages, this author has opened my eyes to something I had not considered before. Jenna is undercover in the UK and her latest assignment has her squirming. A chance to take down an organization, but at what cost? "The idea of whipping Crichten into submission exploded a whirlwind mess of conflicting feelings." Will Jenna be able to stay in character or will she crumble under the pressure? Enjoy! I really enjoyed this read. Locked In Torture while being a rather graphic erotic novel, managed to give a decent enough backstory to structure the graphic scenes around a common plot, rather than just spontaneous sex. I found the male lead to be somewhat relatable, particularly towards the end of the novel, and I found the strong, female lead to be quite attractive. Overall I thought the book to be well thought out and quite stimulating. I will most certainly read more of Kayla Stonor's work.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Definitely not for the faint of heart. The storyline is intense, but Ryan and Jenna are well rounded characters who make the story more about them than about what they're doing. I enjoyed reading it even though some of the BDSM was a little disturbing. It has romance, suspense and domination.
