Jack Rutton only speaks to his estranged son once a year, at Christmas. He works as an accountant at the same job he's held for over a decade. And he is plagued by increasingly more terrible headaches. But Jack has a new problem; he can't remember anything that happened during the last eight days.
What begins as a typical week at work, quickly turns into an obsessive quest to determine what happened to cause him to lose his memory and to discover who is responsible.
As his suspicions mount and his headaches intensify, Jack spirals helplessly downward toward dreadful answers to questions he will soon wish he had never asked.
